Over the weekend we shockingly learned that Rihanna had decided to reunite with her alleged attacker and boyfriend Chris Brown in Miami, FL where the couple were reportedly working on a reconciliation at one of P. Diddy‘s luxury homes. We also saw a couple of photos of Chris Brown whooping it up on a jet ski lookin’ like he was having the time of his life. Today we learn that Rihanna and Chris have ended their vacay together as Chris was spotted making his arrival back in LA last night without Rihanna … but before he made his way to SoCal, he spent another relaxing day of sun, surf and play:
Chris Brown’s reconciliation weekend with Rihanna in Miami has come to an end. The troubled 19-year-old singer was photographed arriving on a private jet in Los Angeles. Rihanna, 21, was not visible in the shots. As Usmagazine.com reported on Friday, Brown and Rihanna – whom he allegedly assaulted Feb. 8 in Los Angeles – have gotten back together. They were staying at a house owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs on Star Island near Miami, Fla. Though Rihanna wasn’t photographed, Brown was spotted over the weekend, smiling, riding a jet ski and flexing his arm muscles. Despite reports, he did not party with Khloe Kardashian and Reggie Bush Saturday night at the Gansevoort South Hotel. Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, told Us he supported his daughter’s decision to get back together with Brown. “I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I’m behind her win or lose,” he told Us. “I will be supportive.”
See … now, I know that the kid is only 19 years old and all of that but the sight of the lad, who stands accused of physically assaulting his girlfriend (which still hasn’t been proven, I should add), playing with is friends on vacation while many of us are still reeling from the sight of Rihanna‘s battered face is really unsettling. Even tho we do not know what happened between the two of them, we do know that Chris acknowledges wrong-doing on his part and has vowed to seek help for his problem (whatever it may be) … we learned this from the statement that HE RELEASED via his publicist. It sorta feels disingenuous to me to hear him say that he is remorseful and then very soon after look as if he doesn’t have a care in the world. I only hope that he is serious about getting help because quick forgiveness coupled with an all-expenses paid vacation in Miami doesn’t sound like the way for a troubled young man to learn his lesson. We may never know what really happened that night … I guess, at this point, we can only hope that Rihanna and Chris Brown can move forward in a positive manner (whatever that may be). I do hope that the LA prosecutor’s office moves forward with their investigation and case. While Rihanna may be ready to forgive, I don’t think the State should be forgiving at all on her behalf. If a crime was committed, it should be punished.
UPDATE: TMZ has photos of ChRihanna together in LA, having just flown in from Miami. I guess the reconciliation continues.

All I have to say at this point is that she is obviously one messed up woman if she’d get back together with him after that so of course he’s all smiles, the woman he beat still loves him!!!! This whole saga needs to just go away, at this point I’ve lost all respect for her & him as people in general. I still love the music of both & that’s not going to change because they are both assholes. I just hope things don’t get all O.J. in this situation.

I think it is just sad! She is basically saying it is okay to forgive the man who beats his women. I think it is very pathetic. I could really careless about these two beyond that. I use to love RIRI but if she doesn’t have any sort of self worth for herself then what is even appealing about her to me?? Good luck to both of you…BLAH!

This might be a good example because finally people are seeing just how complicated these type of situations are. How do you protect someone who loves the person who is harming them?
Is it possible to move forward from a siuation like this with out some sort of counceling?

Are you serious! Girl come on I understand that you think you are in love with him but if he laid a hand on you that is wrong. Maybe it’s her turn to kick his *** ha no thats not the solution it is just an unfortunate situation
The fact that she reconciled with him only after a mere 3 weeks after the incident shows that whatever he did was not a big deal. And the fact that Brown is having the time of his life just seems wrong for some reason–since he has admitted to wrongdoing of some sort, if he was truly remorseful, he would not be flexing his muscles on a jetski.
I have to say, I have always been a fan of chris brown and a HUGE fan of rihanna, but this really really disappoints me. at first i was mad at chris brown for what he did (regardless of if it was proven, SOMETHING obviously happened because those pictures of her were crazy!), but now rihanna has really disappointed me. i don’t care if you love him, that is something you should stay away from. if a guy does that once, he’s gonna do it again and i hope rihanna keeps some sense about her. this is really a shame.
and yes, i agree that the apology chris issued is kind of ruined by these pictures of him looking as if he doesn’t care at all.
Unfortunately, as someone who prosecuted cases as an assistant district attorney, if Rihanna chooses not to pursue the case, there’s not much the State can do if she refuses to testify against her assailant. This happens in probably 60-75% of domestic violence cases, if not more. This one just happens to be super-public. I wish Rihanna could be an example of a woman who knows enough of her inner-worth to just walk away from a man-child who doesn’t know how to control his own emotions, or actions, for that matter. But it’s such a tangled web we weave, and celebrities are no exception. I’m sure this won’t be the end of his unacceptable behavior, especially considering it’s being rewarded instead of punished. The problem is that so many of these men capable of violence against their partner are also capable of immense shows of love and affection. The latter is often overwhelming, and can cause a vulnerable woman to agree to a course of conduct not in her own best interest. Like, uh, going on holiday with your attacker. I wish her the best. They are both super young and no doubt impressionable. I hope they’ve got (or that they obtain) some good role models and mentors. And most of all, I wish Rihanna’s father would man-up and tell his daughter that she’s so much better, and so much more valuable than a man who would even remotely threaten her safety, let alone cause her actual damage. Perhaps therein lies the rub.
You know what? Rihanna is basically pathetic. I know this sounds mean, but whatever; I could careless. The whole entire world was basically on her team and now she has basically dug her career in a whole. Yes, I get that she is in love and whatever and I do realize that we don’t know the entire story but when someone does this to you, there is always a strong second chance of getting hit some point or another. The basic fact is: he did to that to her face. When growing up, my mother and father always got into physical fights and my dad used to beat my mothers face in just as well. They’re divorced now and I believe if they were still together this very day then one of them would have end up dead. Now, I know that this case is completely different than Rihanna’s and Chris Brown but still. They both deserve each other. l0s3rzzzzzz
@ Guest: Great comment and very true, unfortunately. Especially pointing out the “…immense shows of love and affection.” These men will say and do anything they can to win back the one they’ve beaten. Not necessarily for their love but more for self-assurance they are not bad people for doing what they did. These pics are Chris’ way of saying to everyone “See I’m not a bad person. If I was, she wouldn’t be here with me”….blah! It’s just such a sad situation on such a grand stage.
This is really sad! I feel bad for Rihanna, especially with her personal life becoming this public spectacle. I’m sure she didn’t ask for that when she started her career. I feel even worse because of the effects this might have on her younger fans. I know she didn’t ask to be a role model, but it does set a pretty poor example to young women.

If you gotta stay hidden away in a mansion and hide your head under the hood of your jacket when your with your man then you know deep down the relationship is wrong.
She is a terrible role model, her reputation is damaged and her career in jeopardy.
