Yesterday was a very chill day … for the most part, David and I spent the day in our humble abode working before we ventured out to do a little supply shopping last night. We ate a quick meal at The Grove and then made our way to my fave store ever, Target, to pick up a few essentials. It is not a well-known fact about me but I am a huge fan of using cans of compressed air to blow dust off my computer keyboard and desk items on a fairly regular basis. It’s not a compulsion or anything, it’s just my fave way of keeping my work area as undusty as possible. Yeah, I know I’m really only blowing the dust off one thing and onto another but … meh, I liked it. The pint of this is that in the entire stock of the Target store in West Hollywood, they only had one open/used can of canned air in the whole place — and it was missing its straw! Hell to the no! I made David go with me to Best Buy to pick up a 4-can case to keep handy for future use.

Yes, folks, that was my exciting night.
I had planned on venturing out to see Watchmen at midnight tonight but I think I’ve changed my mind. The thought of staying out until about 4AM only to get a couple hours sleep before waking up to blog tomorrow morning isn’t very appealing. I deffo plan to see Watchmen this weekend, but I’ll prolly go at a more reasonable hour :)

! Compressed can air cleaning!! aww I love you Trent!
Did you ever see the epidode of Intervention where the girl is addicted to huffing air from can’s of computer duster spray and she drives around in search of cans? I’m just saying it sounds similiar… hahahaha =)
@Saddlebred1977 — OMG, I swear that I only use canned air for the intended purpose for which it was created. Blah, I cannot imagine sucking on compressed air. Can’t you get frostbite from the liquid inside?
hah i was just thinking i needed to start buying some of that stuff. now i’m convinced.
That was hilarious!! And Saddlebred that is even funnier! I love that show. It is crazy sad. Anyways, I was looking forward to your recap of the movie tomorrow. I guess I can wait. I don’t blame you…4am is LATE when you have get up early and start typing for your fan base who should be featured on Intervention for their addiction to Pink is the New blog!!
ITS LIKE WALKING ON SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG I was just thinking of that episode of Intervention. Seriously scarred me for life. I can’t look at it without giggling.
Are we going to see you on Intervention? :)
u can also huff those cans which is actually really really really awsome! lol not that i recommend it. lol
That episode of Intervention was disturbing to say the least. And yes, Trent, you can get a minor case of frostbite with it especially if you turn it upside down and spray your husband on a stupid dare of a friend. I’m still apologizing for it.
Ok, the first thing I saw in this post was the huge pic of the Dust Off with hearts all around it, and all I could think about was that ep of Intervention, too!! Trent, I’m really glad you didn’t figuratively say you are addicted to it!
hahhaha that chick on intervention is what I thought of too!!!
@Trent – fyi: http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/dustoff.asp
“heloo to the no!” HAHAHAHA i almost died. too bad, i have an extra can sitting in my room. anytime you need come canned air, i’m sure i’ll have some extra you can borrow
LOL @ Mr. Gyllenhall – I need an Intervention for my addiction to watching Intervention AND Pink Is The New Blog. Now I’m connecting my two addictions… this is getting scary. I can sleep soundly knowing that I do not need to drive around in search of computer duster spray this evening. (just kidding Trent! Love ya! =)
My husband and I watched that epis. of intervention also a favorite on ours and I know you should laugh but she was whacked out she was funny! Iam sorry to say that :o but Trent I thought the same thing or that you had to have photo id to buy it!!
Costco sells a 6 pack of the stuff. Just sayin’…
I love the cans of compressed air! We use them at work all the time!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE POSTS IN A LONG TIME.
Saddlebred1977:
I was thinking the same thing!! In fact I didnt even knew those cans existed before I saw that episode of Intervention… Then I saw the movie Thirteen and they use it too… I s really f^&^& scary!!!
I absolutely LOVE using compressed air! I use it on everything, and just like you, I know it does no good, but tis so quick and easy! Plus, it has many fun features such as: straw, underwater-oxygen-tank noise, and potential for frostbite.
