‘Adventureland’ Premieres
Apparently, actress Kristen Stewart is interested in more than just lurvin’ up on hot vampires these days … as is evident from her new movie, Adventureland, she’s also into hangin’ out with interesting folks at local amusement parks. Here are a few photos from last night’s LA premiere at Mann’s Chinese 6 Theater here in Hollywood, CA of K. Stew, Ryan Reynolds, SNL’s Bill Hader and the very pale pallored Kat Dennings on the red carpet:
I *just* saw the trailer for this film for the first time this week and really had zero interest in seeing it … until I found out that Kristen Stewart is in it. Honestly, it’s not so much that I think her acting skills will make the film but I’m really interested in seeing her in a comedy. As you may also know, I’m also interested in seeing Robert Pattinson’s new film Little Ashes (mainly for the man-on-man nekkidness) to compare his performance in that film to his performance in Twilight. I’m not really sure why but I am really intrigued by seeing these young actors in other movies. It’s a good thing that Ryan Reynolds is in the film cuz now they can count on my $12 at the box office for sure. Does this film hold any fascination for any of y’all?

The movie was filmed at Kennywood Amusement Park in southwest PA and I worked there for 3 summers, so that the only reason why I plan to see it!

Kennywood isn’t considered Southwest PA, it’s here in Pittsburgh (where I live and have lived for the majority of my life). I’m extremely excited to see it and be the annoying person going “OMG! I know that!” haha. Plus, it looks like one of those heartbreakingly funny true life type movies. I was a fan from the minute I saw the trailer. I sincerely hope it is as good as I want it to be.

This movie seems promising but Kristen Stewart’s characters looks exactly the same from “The Land of Women” or whatever that movie was called.

I think Kristen Stewart always looks good, i like the fact she has her own sense of style thats different to other young hollywood actresses.

Kristin:Oh that dress. I want. Kat Dennings: Some B-positive might spruce you up a bit. Ryan: Why are you wearing a shirt? Didn’t we talk about this?Did you get an ugly tattoo like your wife? That’s still okay, I guess, as long is it’s not on your abs.
Trent: I agree, I have some weird agenda where I must see other movies the cast of Twilight will make. R.Pattinson even said in the GQ interview that the only reason people will see Little Ashes now is because he’s in it. I can’t explain this to myself, I just know that I’m going to have to see these movies.

I am also interested in seeing these actors in other films, hopefully showing their range and not just recycling ’same character’. I do want to see Adventureland . . . I think. Also, I read that Kristen Stewart in 2007 starred in ‘Cake Eaters’ where she plays a dying girl with Friedreich’s ataxia, a progressive degenerative disease of the nervous system. I read some great reviews about the film and I really want to see it.

Go Kristen!! I adore the stars of the Twilight movies! I agree with Penny that I will have to see these movies or I will start to go crazy and bite somebody. I’m even gonna be one of those millions of people who will wait up until crazy hours of the mmorning to run into a store and get the Twilight movie on dvd. Scary thought but I will become nocturnal for a night. I’m very happy to announce I will be a Twilight dvd owner. No matter how much biting,scratching,hissing,or punching it will take.

Hahaha, Kennywood is right outside of the ghetto, to be honest [that CAN'T be argued]. That’s the only reason why I would see this movie, Kennywood is my second home.

this movie was really good! I saw it at sxsw film festival in austin on sunday. It was not what I was expecting, I expected light (if a little dumb) humor, it was a little darker, especially Kristen’s character; there were alot of funny parts too though. Overall I liked it, and totally recommend it!!

i have to say, kirsten stewart looks much much better with that hair, caompared to her hair in japan. My usual hatred for kirstwen stewart cannot believe i said that. When i first saw her dress i was like omg, she’s wearing a Hessian bag of rotten oranges, i look again and I’m like, omg, she actually looks alright. Would not wear it though.
Ryan Reynold is cool. He’s so chill, just like the new sugar free Tic Tacs xDDDD

I am going to see it next wed (got “premiere” tickets) and I am sooooo pumped. I love the whole cast. :)
also, trent if you want to watch some good Kristen movies check out Into the Wild, Speak, Fierce People, and What Just Happened. also, rent The Cake Eaters when it comes out next week. (I know I’ll be renting it)

I’m seeing it because I’m also interested in Kristen Stewart for some reason, and I can’t wait to see how she handles a comedy. And, because I live like 10 minutes away from Kennywood, where is was filmed.

Pittsburgh is southwest pa….
I live here too. I don’t know how u could grow up in a place not knowing what region u live in.
I think the people from the surrounding pittsburgh area should go and support the movie. Kennywood has always been a part of my childhood and will always be a part of my children and grandchildrens lives also.
I think we should be proud and excited that they picked our amusement park out of hundreds.
