Well now … what have we here? Could the recent whispers that Drew Barrymore and her ex-boyfriend Justin Long have gotten back together again really be true? Well, if this new photo of the pair enjoying a quiet lunch together at the Farmer’s Market at The Grove over the weekend is any indication than mebbe it is time to celebrate their reunion:

As you may recall, Drew and Justin broke up way back in July of last year after a pretty significant courtship together. Something about the couple always seemed like they were a good fit for one another. Not long after the breakup, Justin was linked to Kirsten Dunst and Drew set her sights on the Gossip Girls guys — but none of that never really seemed right. I’m encouraged that all these months later the couple appear to, at the very least, still be friendly with one another. I’d be happy to see them couple up again. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if anything comes of this supposed reunion. Do y’all like these two together? They look cute together, no?

Queen Latifah, née Dana Elaine Owens, may have turned 39 back on March 18 but she decided to celebrate her birthday this past Saturday March 28 … with a few close personal friends. Here are a few photos of the Queen whooping it up at her belated birthday party at Club Light here in LA:

Queen Latifah celebrated her birthday by putting on a special live performance of tracks off her new album Persona which is due in stores this July. Latifah was joined on stage by Lady of Rage, Lil Kim, MC Lyte, Missy Elliott and Yo-Yo for parts of the performance … which sounds too damn cool for words. Ladies First, indeed. Queen Latifah has been killing it for decades now. As much as I like her acting, I really love her for her music. It sounds like it was Queen Latifah’s guests who got the best present of all. Happy Birthday, Dana!! You’ve never looked better :)

Over the weekend we saw the first photos of Madonna’s visit to Malawi on a trip meant to primarily begin the adoption process of a beautiful little girl named Mercy James but also so that her first adopted child, David Banda, could visit his homeland and spend time with his biological father. First we saw photos of Madonna visiting the village of Magwelo with her eldest child Lourdes Maria and today we get to see pics of Maddy and David visiting at a school that she financed which is just south of Malawi’s capital of Lilongwe … a trip that took place after David was reunited with his father Yohane Banda:

In an emotional reunion, David met with his biological father, Yohane Banda. “We spent three hours together. My son has grown too big,” he told reporters. He also said that David looks very much like him, “but resembles more his half brother Dingiswayo.” Madonna briefly met Yohane and updated him of his son’s schooling. “She is a sweet lady,” said the 33-year-old peasant farmer of the singer. Sources tell PEOPLE that Madonna is expected to take her children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, and David, 3, to the Home of Hope orphanage in the border district of Mchinji for her adopted son’s reunion with the orphanage where the singer found him in 2006. She is also expected to take her children’s to David’s ancestral village of Lipunga.

It’s really wonderful that Madonna would make it a point to make sure that David remembers where he came from and that she ensures that his biological father gets to spend time with the son he had to give up. It cannot be easy for Yohane to only see his son on visits like these but it’s really great that they get to spend time together any way they can. As long as David knows he is loved, that is all that matters. It’s fortunate that Madonna has all these plans for their visit to Malawi because it sounds like she is going to have to remain there for longer than she may have anticipated. Madonna did file the adoption papers for Mercy James in court today but learned that the case would be postponed until Friday. Action star Jason Statham, who will be thrilling audiences soon with his new movie Crank High Voltage, was spotted enjoying a bit of beach fun with some friends in Malibu, CA this weekend … behold:

You know, the man looks good when he’s clothed and dry … when he’s half nekkid and wet, well, yeah. There is a certain je ne sais quoi about this actor that I have loved ever since I saw him in the first Transporter movie. While the hey day of the action hero movie star is a thing of the past, I love that Jason Statham can exist as a new, gentler (and sexier) kind of action hero. Crank was a madcap adrenaline-filled romp of a movie and I understand that Crank 2 is even more raucous. Alls I know is any movie that features Jason Statham in any state of undress has a pretty good chance of getting me to pony up for a ticket. Oh la la, indeed.

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of British In Style magazine lookin’ super glamorous in her accompanying photospread. In her coverstory interview, she reveals her desire to be a mother to 4 children in order to fulfill her desires as an Italian woman … or some such nonsense. Here is Hayden’s In Style mag cover and a portion of her interview:

Hayden Panettiere found fame in the cult US TV show Heroes as a strong-willed teenager. But in real life the actress feels much more grown up, as she shows in her latest photoshoot for In Style magazine. Despite being only 19 blonde-haired Hayden reveals she is planning a large family. “I always said I want four kids – I love kids,” she said. “I would love to be a mum and to have a family – for Italians, it’s the most important thing you can have.” But Hayden says she would not want her children to follow her into the acting world. “I think you have to be a pretty strong person to enter the industry that young and not be affected by it,” she said. “I was lucky, but I’d never want my kids to be subject to that much criticism at such a young age.” However Hayden may have to wait before she starts her family. Last month she broke up with her 31-year-old Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia, with sources citing the 12-year age gap as a factor.

I think at 19, she’s got time to worry about the 4 kids later on. Tho, I can understand where she is coming from. Believe it or not, a certain someone I know who is very close to me as informed me that he would like to have a large family since he grew up with 3 other siblings very close in age. I don’t know about Hayden’s readiness to have so many babies but I know I’m not quite there yet … and I’m just a wee bit older than 19. On Saturday we saw photos of John Mayer playing host aboard the Mayercraft Carrier cruise ship that transported 3,000 fans to Mexico and back for a 4-day pleasure/concert cruise. In addition to entertaining his guests with his interesting outfit choices, John also played nightly concerts for his fans — even taking requests from the audience … requests like sniffing a pair of mankini that were thrown on stage for him:

Now, I realize that John Mayer has got made love for his fans but I dunno … I’m not sure I’d sniff anything that was thrown at me from a random stranger. That mankini could’ve been worn by anybody. The cruelest joke ever would be if someone tossed John’s own mankini on stage for him to sniff — blaurgh! That’s fan devotion right there.

Zac Efron made a recent visit to Europe to do some promo for his upcoming new film 17 Again and appeared to be very lax in his personal grooming habits. First he showed up to a photocall in France wearing a t-shirt that was covered in stains (ew) and then he showed up at a premiere screening in the UK with a huge glob of ear wax seeping out of his ear (gross) …

… a sight that was not lost on his admirers here in the States because upon his arrival back in SoCal, he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were showered with gifts to ensure that Zac’s waxy build-up problem goes away:

LOLOLOL! Someone decided to pummel Zanessa with Q-Tips as they made their way out of Beso restaurant here in LA Saturday night. The best part — one of the Q-Tips got stuck in Vanessa’s hair! You may also note that Zac’s ear canals were covered by his hair in these second photos … so who knows what ICK may be hiding underneath.
