Lawd. Today is a particularly late day for me since it’s almost 5pm and I’m still working. As some of you may be aware, I attended three Prince concerts here in LA last night/this morning — all in a row — and, as a result, my day today is running behind. The first show was at the Nokia Theater, the second show was at The Conga Room and the third show was at Club Nokia. While I had the time of my life, the night wasn’t without its snags. Overall, tho, nothing could mar the fact that seeing Prince perform three shows in a row all in one night was one of the best concert memories of my life. Here are a few photos that were snapped professionally of Prince’s first show at the Nokia Theater last night:

The first show was the one that was filled with the most Prince hits, which I’m sure delighted the mass Prince fan population that likes to attend his shows. I took my friend Johnny with me to the first show and we had a blast. Johnny had never seen Prince perform live before so I knew he was in for a treat. The tix I purchased for the first show were got thru the LOTUSFLOW3R.com website — natch, we got great pit tickets right in front of the stage. It was so much fun, I can’t even tell you. Johnny and I were having a great time … and when Sheila E. came out for the encore? Man, we lost our minds. So much fun!! Here are some of the cameraphone pics that I managed to take last night. I got some pics from the first show and the third show but none from the second, more intimate show. I didn’t want to risk gettin’ into trubs so I took no pics at the Conga Room:

I got to hang out with my friend Daniel and his friend Staci at the Conga Room and then David came out for the very late third show.

I’ve read a few fan reviews of the shows this morning and they are deffo mixed. I, personally, had a blast … seeing all 3 shows added up to one helluva master setlist for the night. It is time again to gawk and gander at this week’s installment of the Hot Dude of the Week. Since it’s sunny and warm here in SoCal this fine Sunday, I thought it would be nice to enjoy the Weekend Hotness in a beach setting with a nice chap named Adam to help spread the hotness:

While I’m not really feeling the stone washed jeans on Mr. Adam here, I don’t really think that his pantswear should be the focus. Hot Dudes of the Week like Adam work very hard to get their bodies in pique physical condition and that should be the real focus, yes? Mebbe next time, Adam can just lose the pants altogether and then we’d all be happy ;)

It’s still a bit early to be talking about this but the folks at All American Guys are planning a big 10th Anniversary bash here in SoCal this Summer and I hear it’s going to be a pretty spectacular event. I don’t know all the deets but as long as they have a nice selection of Hot Dudes to attend, I know I’m gonna be there. I’ll have more info on the shindig as the All American Guys 10th Anniversary Celebration draws near … hopefully I’ll have more pics to share, too ;)

Yesterday we saw a few very interesting photos of actor Ashton Kutcher on the French set of his new film Five Killers which is currently in production in Nice. As you may recall, a mostly nekkid Ashton was photographed straddling an anchor chain as he tried to scale aboard the ship (which is sure to make sense to the plot by the time the whole thing is completed). Today we get to see a few more pictures from the set of Five Killers … this time, Ashton is photographed whippin’ some ass … er, or pretending to whip some ass, rather. At least he’s still mostly nekkid, behold:

It’s unclear if this new film is actually an action movie or if it’s a comedy or what. I don’t personally believe that Ashton can necessarily pull off his own action flick but who am I to judge … he’s mostly nekkid and, really, that’s all that matters :) I must had it to the lad for gettin’ his bod in such fine shape. The fact that we can see all of his rippling muscles from such a distance is a testament to his physical fitness. While I have no interest in seeing this film when it comes out (at least, at this point) I am very much interested in seeing more photos of the filming of this movie. Mostly nekkid is the key … bring it on.

Here are a few really cute pics of mama Halle Berry and her little princess Nahla Ariela enjoying a lovely afternoon of shopping together this weekend … unfortch, tho, Nahla was more interested in sleeping than shopping:

OMG … so cute!! Even after an outfit change, Nahla seems no more interested in sleeping and even more so in drooling on her mother’s shoulder. This little girl is absolutely adorable. We don’t get to see much of little Miss Nahla out and about so these pics are a real treat. Tutu? Seriously, the cutest thing ever. Get some sleep, Nahla … we’ll be right here waiting for you to wake up ;)

After a few months of seeing photos from the London and NYC sets of the new Guy Ritchie directed film Sherlock Holmes (which stars Robert Downey, Jr. as Sherlock and Jude Law as Watson) today we finally get to see the first teaser poster for the film … behold:

It’s not too bad … but because it’s a teaser poster, it doesn’t offer much. At least we get to see Holmes in his trademark hat with his iconic pipe. Because the movie is still 9 months away (the entire incubation period of a human being) I think we’re pretty lucky to get to see anything this early at all. I’m looking forward to more promo images from the film soon, tho. I want more of the Jude’stache. It’s been far too long since we’ve seen that hairy wonderfulness here on the blog ;)

Yesterday we saw photos of Jake Gyllenhaal proudly showing off his arms after a hot afternoon workout here in SoCal. It would seem that since those photos were taken, Jakey poo has had a change of heart in the showing off department. Here are a couple photos of Jake making his way out of a local grocer trying to unsuccessfully become invisible behind his shopping bag full of groceries:

So silly. I don’t understand the thought process behind the notion that someone who wishes to not be photographed decides to hide behind a bag or under a sheet to dissuade photographs … but really result in even more ridiculous photos of the person than if they hadn’t even bothered to hide in the first place. To his credit, Jakey did opt for paper over plastic … so at least he’s being environmentally sound as he foolishly tries to evade being photographed.
