I just love this woman … and I want her to live forever. She looks amazing and I just want to hug her :) It’s always a nice sight to see any one of the Golden Girls out and about but Betty has to be the cutest. It’s great to see her looking so well … Betty White is an aboslute doll. Love her :)

Victoria Beckham has already left her hubby David Beckham behind in Milan, Italy and has made her way to London on her way back home to SoCal (this appears to be the new route that she takes every other week now that Becks is an official member of AC Milan — LA to Milan to London to LA and repeat). Here are pics of VB’s arrival at Heathrow Airport lookin’ about as fabulous as she can in a very cute outfit that truly shows her at her fashionista best:
It’s times like these when I have to retract the claws and just really give Victoria props for her sense of style. While I don’t always love her look, I think she gets it right more times than I am willing to admit. But when she puts together a look like this one, well, even I have to give her props. This is such a great look for her … stylish and flirty and nowhere near over-the-top. The 60’s mod look really works with her shorter ‘do. The jacket is a great print and the length is perfect. She looks really cute and sassy … it’s a good look … and now I’m done gushing.

Today has already been a Gossip filled day … early this morning we learned that one of the Gossip Girl characters would be arrested in an upcoming episode and just a short while ago we saw the first pictures of Brittany Snow in the role of Lily van der Woodsen filming scenes for the upcoming Gossip Girl spin-off series … and now we get to see a few photos of some of the other GG castmembers filming scenes for the final batch of eps to air this season, behold:
It really looks like there is gonna be a whole lotta drama comin’ out way when Gossip Girl returns with the final eps of the season. Leighton Meester is lookin’ like the Queen B that she is, Ed Westwick is rockin’ the purple suit right, Chace Crawford is about as fine as he ever was and Michelle Trachtenberg returns with a whole new attitude for the series … BRING IT ON, I can’t hardly wait! We are just days away from the return of new eps and I’m already dying for more. All of these new pics are really gettin’ me amped.

Hold on to your vamps, Twilighters! There is new word that socialite partygirl Paris Hilton, who has just reeled in her latest victim love interest by nabbing minor Hills castmember Doug Reinhardt and has been flaunting him all over the globe, has expressed a “desperate” desire to join the cast of the upcoming film The Twilight Saga’s New Moon. And you thought the rumors of Vanessa Hudgens getting a role in New Moon was bad news:
Paris Hilton is reportedly “desperate” to appear in New Moon, the second instalment in the Twilight saga. According to Star, the heiress has been calling the film’s leading man Robert Pattinson “constantly” in an attempt to land a role in the vampire sequel. “She has also had her manager call the casting agent to lobby for a part on her behalf,” PA quotes a source as telling the magazine. Hilton, who recently admitted that she was fan of the franchise, is allegedly “desperate for people to take her seriously as an actress”. The insider added: “She thinks she’d be perfect to play one of the vampires. She’s even willing to play a victim – she just wants in.” Production on New Moon, which is being directed by Chris Weitz, has just begun in Vancouver, which a scheduled release date of November.
LOLOLOL! This is the most ridiculous thing ever … and so like Paris. First, I would bet MONEY that Paris Hilton has never read a single book of the Twilight Saga. Chances are, she’s never read a book, period. Second, there is no way that an accomplished director like Chris Weitz would ever cast Paris Hilton in one of his movies … which is why he’s an accomplished director. And let’s be honest, the Twilight films are not great masterpieces … some might go so far as to call them fluff … but even then, I contend the material is too complex for Hilton’s limited skills. But, I dunno, what do y’all think? Could Paris Hilton really pull off a role in New Moon? And don’t hold back … let your voices be heard!

Congratulations are in order for a few fortunate Pink is the new Blog winners who have been chosen as the winners of a signed copy each of Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Amber Benson’s debut novel Death’s Daughter. As you may recall, I posted a contest asking Pink readers to send in either a BtVS-themed photo OR a photo of what they think the book’s protagonist Calliope Reaper-Jones might look like in real life. So, after a few weeks of hearing how amazing the new show RuPaul’s Drag Race is I figured it was time that I saw for myself what all the hoopla was about. I started recording the series in reruns over the past week and finally got around to watching the show … and OMG, is it awesome!
I pretty much love everything about the whole show. It’s like Project Runway meets America’s Next Top Model meets Make Me a Supermodel all rolled into one fabulously DIVA package. I just love RuPaul and I love that she is back on the scene with this fab show. I have to give it up to all the drag queens on the show … they all are amazing. Even on their worst days they look utterly amazing. I don’t even think I have any favorites, I really do enjoy them all. The saying goes that It takes a real man to walk a mile in a woman’s shoes and I think I might have to agree with that sentiment :) I’m so glad I finally got on board with this fab show … it’s really fun, you should deffo check it out. The show can be streamed online at LogoOnline.com in case you’ve missed the eps like I did.
In other news, our massively HUGE bed just arrived. The deliverymen were in and out in about 15 mins. total. The bed is so big … we’re thrilled :)
Lots of errands today … we need bedding for our big bed, any ideas on where to go? I’m afraid I have no idea. OY!
