Vicki B. wasted no time after getting word that her husband, David Beckham, would be staying in Milan, Italy for a couple extra months as she was seen all suited up in her infamous Inspector Gadget-inspired travel uniform making her way thru LAX Airport to make her way to Milan:

And about 10 hours later, she was seen making her grand arrival in Italy after her long flight. I’m a bit mortified for her that she had to be photographed wearing the same outfit getting off the plane that she wore getting on the plane (tho, I’m even more mortified for her thinking she looks good in this outfit in the first place). Clearly, she is lookin’ to give Michael Jackson a run for his stylish money. It kinda feels to me that VB would’ve made her way to Milan sooner if it weren’t for those pesky birthday parties she had to throw for her children here in SoCal. Such an annoyance. Well, she’s back with her hubby now … hopefully the next pics we see of her will be overshadowed by Becks’s overriding hawtness/normal dress.

Last month we learned that musician M.I.A. who performed on the Grammy Awards on her due date gave birth to a baby boy and a few days after we got our first look at the little darling. At the time, no name was revealed … until now. Latina.com reports that M.I.A. opted for a baby name that is more of the Zuma Nesta Rock variety rather than the Samuel Sammy Kai … ie. the kid’s name is a bit weird:

We’re big fans of M.I.A. at the Latina offices. BIG fans. We love her so much, we even thought her outfit at the Grammys was awesome. So we just had to share the news when we found out the name of her baby son with fiance Benjamin Brewer. He was born February 11, just days after M.I.A.’s Grammy performance, and his name—which we have to admit, has left us scratching our heads—is… Ickitt. Yes, you read right. The boy’s name is Ickitt. And as a result, Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam takes the cake for coming up with the most original celeb baby name ever. Did you expect anything less? Congrats, M.I.A.!

Well … to be honest, I kinda expected that M.I.A. would choose a more unique name rather than a traditional name like John or Joe. As far as I can tell from my limited research, I don’t think that Ickitt shares his name with anyone else which is prolly what M.I.A. was going for. In any event, Much Lurve and Congratulations goes out to M.I.A. and daddy Benjamin Brewer Bronfman on the expansion of their family. Welcome to the world, Ickitt!

UPDATE: M.I.A. has updated her official My Space blog with a post refuting that she named her son Ickitt … she writes:

MY BABY IS NOT CALLED ICKITT, PICKIT OR LICKIT THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THE HOLLYWOOD PRESS. HES A BABY , HE DONT NEED PRESS! I DIDNT RELEASE THE BABY NAME BECAUSE I DIDNT THINK IT WAS NEWS!!!! BUT I WILL BE BACK WITH SOMETHING NEWS WORTHY SOON , TILL THEN GO PICK ON APPLE, SATCHEL AND MOON UNIT. LOTS OF LOVE STICKIT!!

“Feel the power! You see the energy”

Great news for Justin Gaston — 20 year old underwear model and manfriend to 16 year old Miley Cyrus … all of his pandering to the Cyrus family has finally paid off — homeboy scored his FIRST magazine cover! Tho, this mag, Electric Youth!, is prolly not the sort of mag that the überreligious Cyrus family might readily approve of … especially considering … oh, just see for yourself:

Celebrity magazines have been reporting that Justin Gaston, Miley Cyrus’s 20-year-old model boyfriend, has moved into the Cyrus family home so that dad Billy Ray can “keep an eye on him.” But it seems the young fella has been slipping out of the compound. Away from the Disney-sanitized environment that attends a hit commodity like “Hannah Montana,” young Mr. Gaston is getting quite the reputation for racy photo spreads. First came a series in the Spring 2009 issue of V Man, an edgy men’s fashion magazine which posed him awkwardly straddling a tennis net and grabbing his crotch.

Now he is on the cover of the even more avant garde Electric Youth! magazine, a frankly homoerotic remix of the teen-mag Tiger Beat genre dedicated to up-and-coming male models. (Although the new issue does also feature a handful of young female models, including Dakota Johnson, the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.) Electric Youth! (or EY!), named after the Debbie Gibson hit, is the brainchild of a Madrid-based creative director named Luis Venegas. Each model is interviewed in the style of a teen idol and the text, in contrast to the revealing photos, is positively restrained. Gaston is only referred to as Miley’s “best friend,” for example, and the aspiring musician is allowed a generous plug for his MySpace demo page. Dakota Johnson’s famous parents aren’t even mentioned. EY! does not have a web site and you won’t find the ad-free mag on news stands. Although it nominally has a US cover price of $18, in reality it is stocked by only a few trendy European boutiques or distributed privately among the fashion media. Which is probably just as well, since if he saw it Billy Ray might wonder why Justin’s red Speedo had to be quite so tight.

Actually, I understand that EY! is sold at American Apparel stores (which kinda makes sense) and it does have a website at ElectricYouthMag.com. Personally, I’m very intrigued to see what other photos of Justin Gaston might be hiding inside this particular issue of the magazine. Truth be told, the young man on the cover of this magazine does not strike me as the type of gent who would be interested in a romantic affiliation with someone like Miley Cyrus. I’m just sayin’. That being said, I can see how someone like the young Miss Cyrus might not even be aware how telling a photo like this of her manfriend Justin Gaston really is … in fact, I could see how she might giddily want to tack up a photo like this in her bedroom so she can moon over his beauty whenever she likes. HMMM. Yeah, I just really can’t see this Jiley thing being the real deal … but I sincerely doubt that anything will change between them. Their union has proved to be a boon for his modeling career. I wonder what magazine covers the lad will score next?

Trent Reznor posted a new announcement on the official Nine Inch Nails website last night letting the world know that NIN and Jane’s Addiction would be joined by another act for their upcoming NIN/JA Tour here in the US. Street Sweeper, a new project which features Tom Morello and Boots Riley, will join the NIN/JAs as the opening act on the tour. Here is the full text of this latest announcement from TR:

Pink readers Meghan and Jamie Leigh both gave me the heads up that Britney Spears and her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were spotted at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Florida early in the day yesterday because each one of them saw her with their own eyes. Britney performed the second date of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in Atlanta, GA last night but she managed to fit in the trip to Disney World with her kiddies early in the day. Here is a photo of Britney with her youngest son Jayden James and her assistant Brett Miller riding the race cars in the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway and Meghan’s account of her Britney sighting yesterday:

Hey Trent, I saw Briney Spears and her two sons at the Magic Kingdom today at Walt Disney World. I did not get any pics, but I was walking right next to her for quite a bit. She was wearing a striped top, black skinny jeans and stilletto boots, and carrying one of her sons, who was holding a Buzz Lightyear doll. The other little man (I couldn’t tell which was which!) was in a double stroller being pushed by a nanny. She had a bodyguard who looked like that guy from the Green Mile–big scary man! But in a Hawaiian shirt–like that doesn’t stand out! My first impression was how incredibly thin and pretty she is in person! My husband is Cast Member and I am in Disney World all the time, but this is my first celebrity-sighting.

OMG! How fun! I would’ve DIED if I ran into Britney like that. Not to be out done, Pink reader Jamie Leigh was lucky enough to meet Britney yesterday at Disney World herself:

thought of you the whole time, and would flip his wig over this, lol. my first thought was, “ughh we kinda look alike……weird….” my friend will is an Imagineer, i drove over from a break from the office to eat lunch, we eat in a cafe just for people who live here, come annually etc (michael jackson has it, IRONY) she came in before heading to toon town and was eating behind our table, will got up and introduced me, “this is the incomparable jamie leigh” BARFFFFFFF i shook her hand, said nice to meet you (I WAS STARVING MIND YOU) said hi to her kids, cutteeeee then SHE asked for a picture and i said No, yes i turned your hero down – lol but i have good reason! i am a mess today! i worked long hours yesterday, i wasnt feeling too well these last few hours so i said if it ok if i pass??? not one of my best days, she said something like, “trust me girl, i know how that goes..” said im not attending a show, she offered.. wished her all the very best, said

It only took 4 minutes and 20 seconds for Chris Brown to have his first day in court. Yesterday we learned that Chris Brown was being charged with 2 felony charges stemming from the alleged assault he is said to have perpetrated on his girlfriend Rihanna in the early morning hours of February 8. New court documents were released that gave Rihanna’s gruesome account to police about what she claimed Chris Brown did to her (punching, choking and biting are among the ways she claimed he assaulted her that morning) and Chris was scheduled to go before the court at approx. 3:30PM PT to face the music. BUT, Chris did not enter a plea … instead, his lawyer asked the court to continue the case for a later date. The judge agreed and Brown is to be back in court on April 6. Here are a few photos of Chris Brown in court yesterday afternoon:

Chris Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos did not enter a plea to the two felony charges. In a proceeding that took roughly 4 minutes and 20 seconds, the judge granted Brown’s request to move the arraignment to April 6th. It is unclear why they wanted to postpone the case — possibly to conduct further investigations or possibly to strike a plea deal. We just don’t know… Based on our information, it seems Brown wants to avoid a trial at all costs because the picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident — which has not been seen anywhere publicly — is unbelievable. During the proceeding, Brown signed a waiver of presence, allowing his lawyer to act on his behalf — meaning he won’t have to show up to any minor court proceedings before April 6th. Brown, who stood emotionless in court, spoke only four words to the judge — “yes,” “yes,” and “yes ma’am.” After Brown’s request to continue the case had been granted, the judge warned Brown, “You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.” The judge asked Rihanna’s attorney Donald Etra if there was a “no-contact order” in place, to which Etra replied, “Miss Fenty [Rihanna] does not request such an order.” Etra is famous for repping Snoop Dogg in multiple court cases throughout the years.

Extra! TV was also in the courtroom yesterday and they claim to have overheard an exchange between Rihanna’s legal counsel and Brown’s legal counsel which makes it sound like she is not willing to partake in prosecuting Chris Brown for his alleged crimes:

A conversation between Rihanna’s attorney Donald Etra and Chris Brown was overheard while they were standing in front of the microphone immediately following Brown’s hearing this afternoon. Etra approached Brown and said, “I think Rihanna would like this over as quickly as possible. It benefits everybody.” Brown told Etra, “I’m a little confused on the terms of everything… and the proceedings and what’s going on.” Etra responded, “Mark [Geragos, Brown's attorney] will explain it and I’ll explain it to Rihanna.” Stepping in, Geragos said, “I’ve explained it to you that the best thing that could happen in this case is Don is involved. Didn’t I tell you that?” Etra added, “And I would say to you that the best thing to you is that Mark is involved.” The judge moved Brown’s request for a continuance to April 6. In addition, the judge did not grant a “no-contact order.”

It is becoming even more clear, even beyond the fact that Rihanna has already reconciled with Chris Brown, that she seems totally uninterested in working with the State to punish Brown for his alleged crimes. On that, I’m not sure what to say. I will say, tho, that I truly hope that the prosecutor’s office will remain steadfast in their zeal to punish Chris Brown. Altho Rihanna seems ready to forgive, I feel it is STILL worth it to her (and to any future women who might be battered in the future) to have a criminally dangerous person like the person described in her account to police be put behind bars. If the State is able to prove that Chris Brown is guilty of these allegations then he needs to be thrown in jail … whether Rihanna or anyone else likes it or not. I honestly believe the account she gave to the police that night … the injuries that we saw on her battered face seem to corroborate her account. A person who is capable of battering someone like that is NOT a first time offender, in my opinion. My fear is that someone who is capable of assaulting someone in this manner will likely do it again and again and again. Any person found guilty of these crimes MUST be incarcerated. I honestly pray that the LA District Attorney does everything in his power to fully prosecute this crime to the full extent of the law. A continuance like the one granted yesterday offers more time to work up a deal to get off the hook … I pray that no such deal will ever come. Let the case go to trial and let the evidence speak for itself. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
