Billy Crudup sat down for an interview with Parade.com to talk about his role as Dr. Manhattan in the new live-action movie adaptation of the wildly successful graphic novel Watchmen. Fans of the graphic novel know that Dr. Manhattan, a superhero made entirely of energy, feels no compulsion to wear any clothing whatsoever and, therefore, is completely nekkid in much of the graphic novel. As a result, Crudup’s animated version of Dr. Manhattan will also appear in the nude in the movie which opens this Friday. Here is a preview screencap (censored of course) of Dr. Manhattan as he will appear in the new film:

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has made his way to the LA area this week and was spotted having lunch with a couple of friends in West Hollywood, CA yesterday. Here are a couple photos of Ed showing off his sexy eating skills (nom, nom, nom) and his equally sexy purple pants:

It’s interesting … the last time that Ed made his way to LA he wore almost this same exact outfit … he most assuredly wore the same purple pants. I wonder if this look is his LA uniform or something. Whatever the case may be, he really seems to love showing off these hawt pants … which I don’t really mind, do you?

Yesterday we saw photos of Amy Winehouse’s tearful return to London, England after spending an extended 2-month vacation on the Caribbean isle of St. Lucia … and it would seem that she is already missing the warm Caribbean sun. Amy appears to be the proud new owner of a Body Bronze sunbed of her very own … here are a few photos of her new toy being delivered to her London home:

LOL! Well, they may not have much sun in the UK but that shouldn’t stop Amy from having the sun imported into her home. Amy did a bit of horseback riding while she was in St. Lucia, I wonder if she’s lookin’ to procure a new horse of her own as well. She also spent a lot of time in the company of a very hawt dude … might he be delivered to her London home sometime soon? Clearly, Amy is lamenting being away from St. Lucia … but you gotta love that she’s trying to hang on for as long as possible.

It would seem that the dunzoness of McGosling (Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling) is really real because Rachel McAdams appears to have hooked up with a new romantic interest. Rachel has been spotted canoodling with actor Josh Lucas in her hometown of Toronto, Canada letting the world know that the couple are an item. Out with McGosling and in with McLucas:

It’s confirmed by Hollywood North’s John White — Canadian starlet Rachel McAdams and actor Josh Lucas are a couple. The two Hollywood stars, who have been hotly pursued (unsuccessfully) by New York paparazzi in the past month, spent some alone time in Toronto this past weekend. They went on yoga outings, romantic walks and even had a bite to eat at the same restaurant McAdams and her then boyfriend, Canadian actor Ryan Gosling, were photographed at last summer by Hollywood North. McAdams, star of the ultimate chick flick The Notebook, and Josh — who can be seen in Sweet Home Alabama and Glory Road — may be a couple, but will they have the same spark and popular appeal as Gosling and McAdams?

While I quite like Josh Lucas and think that he is a cutie, my heart still yearns for the days when Rachel and Ryan were happily attached. Thanks to The Notebook, McGosling will forever be meant to be together in my book. I’m sure I’ll get over that feeling … if this new romance with Josh Lucas stands the test of time. As it stands, the couple have only been together for a few weeks now. We’ll have to see if they’re really in it for the long haul. McLucas are deffo in the happy honeymoon stage. Yesterday was a pretty throw-away day … the rainyness made going outside really unattractive so, except for a meeting I had to attend, I stayed in for the entire day. To be honest, both David and I were not feeling all that great last night anyway. He napped for a while in the living room and then I napped for a while in the bedroom and the next thing you know … it was nighttime and time for bed again. I did manage to watch last night’s 2-hour ep of 24. Truth be told, I wasn’t really feelin’ the season up until last night’s eps. At last, the season has gotten entertaining … totally unbelievable but entertaining none the less. Each season, 24 takes the ridiculous drama to new extremes … the plot development that was revealed last night has been a long time coming. Loved it!!

Today, I am feeling much better tho David is still a bit ill. Josh and I planned on hanging out this afternoon, I’m hoping that’s still a go. Otherwise … life is quiet and good.
