‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ Releases New Promo Images
The fansite XMenFilms.net has come upon 3 new promo images from the upcoming release X-Men Origins: Wolverine. As you can well expect, the photos which feature the insanely hawt Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine are very broody and very sexy:
I know that a lot of folks are very excited at the other X-Men who will be featured in this X-Men Origins film (like Gambit, Deadpool, Silver Fox) but I’m only really interested in Wolverine and his origin story. Those arms! Under normal circumstances, I’d just assume that all that muscleage is the result of great Photoshopping … but in the case of Hugh Jackman, I’m more apt to believe that most of his bulges are the real deal. Le sigh. Leave it to Hugh Jackman to give me a new appreciation for the plain white tank top t. Again, I say, Le sigh. So … do y’all like these pics as much as I do?

I’m looking forward to seeing this movie, but really only for Hugh Jackman’s performance. As a die-hard X-Men fan, I’ve never really liked the X-Men films due to the extensive number of liberties that -were taken with the characters. While the first two film were at least entertaining, XMen: The Last Stand was a horrible film that was painful to watch and that really should have killed this franchise. As Hugh Jackman was really the best thing about all three films, I’m surprised Marvel didn’t retake control of the property from Fox and reboot the whole franchise (like they did with the Incredible Hulk) while keeping Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (as he is perfect, despite being too tall). One of the problems with “The Last Stand” was they tried to introduce too many new characters at the expense of others (i.e. Cyclops, Storm and Rogue) and I’m afraid that “Wolverine” might suffer from the same problem: Sabretooth and Team X are all integral to Wolverine’s origin, but adding Gambit, Blob, Beak, Emma Frost and cameos of a younger Cyclops and Storm might be overdoing it, especially since none of those characters have any association with Wolverine’s life before the X-Men. I feel that the addition of Deadpool is acceptible due to his and Wolverine’s shared involvement with the Weapon X Program, but he shouldn’t be a main character. However, since he’s played by Ryan Reynolds and reportedly being groomed for a spin-off film, it’s safe to assume Deadpool will play a large role. I’ll see this for Hugh Jackman (as he looks so hot in these photos and the film’s trailer), but I’m afraid that this film might end up nearly as bad as “The Last Stand” because they’re trying to do too much.

SO.. HOT.
And I don’t even feel bad saying this even though he’s -almost- old enough to be dad. That’s how HOT he is.
I haven’t read any of the graphic novels, so maybe that’s why I’ve really enjoyed the movies so far. I don’t mind the characters, but that’s just because I’m a geek who loves mutants. Can’T wait!
