Out With The Old

The TV Guide
February 11th, 2009

Yesterday afternoon, I made the trek over the hill to go back into the Valley to do the last bit of cleaning at my old apartment before I turn in the keys this weekend. It’s so strange … now that I live on this side of the hill the thought of having to go over into the Valley seems like such an ordeal. It’s a trip that I would make on almost a daily basis when I lived in North Hollywood … now, it’s like a road trip. I wanted to make sure to vacuum the place before handing over the keys … and I gotta admit, I got a little choked up standing in empty old place:

Good ol’ #104 was my first LA home … I’ve spent a lot of time in that one bedroom … I’m really gonna miss it ;(

But, our new place is so huge and so amazing … I can’t look back now ;)

Not sure what’s going on tonight … I have a few people I’d like to see so I have some planning to take care of. The sun is shining beautifully today, which is really nice … I hear the rain is coming back just in time for VD this weekend. Ugh.

Pop, before you criticize Trent, check your grammar. What is
“wrtie”, genius one? “Orldeal”? Hooked on phonics did NOT work for you, apparently.

  2. Kent Says:

@pop – go fuck yourself and then go for a literacy test and then go fuck yourself again.

Hmm, I don’t know if I would use VD for Valentines Day. Has a skeezy feel to it……

  4. Green Is Good Says:

Trent, make sure you get today’s paper, stand in each room holding the paper, and take pictures of the apartment before you leave. I had a friend get screwed out of her security deposit because the landlord claimed she left it looking like shit hole. Completely not true. She and her Mom left the place practically sterilized.

  5. Chas Says:

    Congrats Trent!

Boy, I must have missed some drama. I am not too big on valentines day anyway. It seems too commercialized. I still drive by my old house once in awhile. I raised my kids there so it is sentimental to me. I love my new house, but it doesn’t have the memories that the old one does.
