Michael Jackson Suffers The Ravages Of Time
What the hell happened?

Yikes! is pretty much the best way to describe a disturbing new photo of Michael Jackson that was snapped this week as the man ventured out in public in Beverly Hills, CA. Wearing his, now, trademark surgical mask and cap, Jacko failed to wear gloves on this outing which meant that he had to show off his badly damaged hands … not a pretty sight:

He’s spent millions, by all accounts, keeping his face lily white and smooth. But perhaps Michael Jackson should have put some of that money towards his hands. Or at least have invested in a pair of gloves. The singer’s fingers and nails appeared to be in a terrible state when he stepped out this week. They showed signs of ageing and a distinct lack of care, with puffy, reddened skin and prominent veins. Jackson, 50, was pictured in Beverly Hills. An onlooker said: “His hands looked very discoloured and skin looked like it was dangling from his fingers. His fingernails could only be described as a manicurist’s worst nightmare.” As usual, the star had covered his head with a surgical cap and mask and a pair of dark glasses before he stepped out. On the rare occasions when his face has been seen, experts have pointed to scarring on his nose and hollows either side of it from cosmetic operations. The ‘stitched-on’ appearance of his hairline has also lent weight to rumours that he wears a hairpiece or has had ‘plugs’ of hair inserted into his scalp. He is also thought to have arthritis. Jackson’s increasingly frail appearance has prompted speculation about the state of his health.

Ye gods! I’ve seen some scary photos of Michael Jackson before but … yeesh, this pic has to take the cake. The poor man looks like he is literally falling apart. It’s such a shame to see how much worse Jacko seems to get from day to day … I shudder to think what could be hiding underneath that mask. Again, I say, Yikes!

    He’s insane, yes?

  2. jane says:

Trent, you know he is Lupus right?

  3. jane says:

I think before bloggers write stuff they should really do their research, my sister suffers from this disease, and it’s not a laughing matter. Her skin is worse than Micheal’s FYI.

This is old news. Perez Hilton posted these pics two days ago.

  5. Chase says:

@ Nick, wow, two days is considered old? Well, I guess in the gossip world it is. Not everyone goes to Perez Hilton fyi. Plus, Trent doesn’t sit at his computer screen 24/7 like Perez does. Anyways… it is pretty sad. It’s spirit week at my high school and we’re doing a show of The Jackson 5 song “I want you back” and we’ve been studying their dance moves and it is so weird to see Michael so young and… black. not to mention normal.

I was gonna say – it looks like he has some sort of auto-immune problem. I’ve never heard that he had Lupus, but I don’t really keep up with MJ that much…. but there are a lot of things that could cause an auto-immune response…. even down to his body possibly reacting to a plastic surgury….. maybe he has RA (rheumatoid arthritis).. which is very similar to Lupus, in symptoms. Whatever it is, there’s OBVIOUSLY a health problem of some sort… looks like he’s wearing masks to keep from catching anything. He’s so damn weird, there’s no telling.

  7. kara says:

If he has RA, he’s showing it pretty badly. I mean, my mother and I both have RA, and at 50 and 20 we both look a lot better than that. XD

Trent – look at MJ’s wikipedia page. He definitely has lupus:

it just looks like he has old man hands….which doesn’t surprise me, he’s in his 50′s right?

  11. debho says:

I’ve never heard that he has Lupus. His hands just look like old man’s hands to me. There is nothing to stop the ravaging of aging on your hands…believe me I know this.

Trent/Pink is so much better than that ‘other’ site it’s not even funny. Sure, I’ve had my disagreements with Trent (mainly with Brit Brit), but still..this site is easy to navigate, and there are usually regulars on here like your friends at Cheers! The ‘other’ site..yuk. I stopped going there. Gossip aside, he is one of the worst writers imaginable. He’s about as shallow as a wading pool.

My mom has lupus, her hands look a lot like that. I’ve never heard about him having it though. It mostly affects women, and is also more likely in people of non-European descent. If he’s got a family history of any sort of auto-immune disease (not necessarily just lupus) it wouldn’t be surprising if he has one. Though it could also be caused by environmental factors or some sort of drug reaction. And with all he’s done to himself it wouldn’t be that shocking.
That is assuming he does have lupus, and that it’s SLE in particular, I don’t know much about the other variations of it.

  15. Cristina says:

@Jane #1 – As House would say, “it’s not Lupus!” Haha I’m not really sure one way or the other, but I just had to say it.

I used to be a funeral director and his hands look like a corpse’s – really dehydrated and pale from the lack of blood circulation. I feel so badly for the man because he has the worst body dismorphic disorder I’ve ever seen in my life. The pale color is most likely from his overuse of skin bleaching creams to even out his supposed vitiligo, and the “saggy” skin is probably a combination of dehydration and poor nutrition. When that “Living with Michael Jackson” documentary came out, I remember people saying how he hardly liked any foods at all, and many people have speculated that he has anorexia nervosa.

He’s got such young children, I hope he’s able to take better care of himself so he can be a good father. :(

  16. K says:

He needs so much mental help, it’s sad. Even if he does have Lupis, that doesnt make him absolutely insane.

    MJ, get help, please.

I have been visiting this site for years. This is my last visit. I find your rhetoric icky. You usually stand for such a higher level of tolerance. When you do this kind of thing to someone that has a condition such as the one Michael Jackson suffers from; it makes me sad for you. I guess it isn’t near as “pretty” as the one that Brittney Spears suffers from; as we all learned about her bipolar disorder last year. You know? About this time last year when she was; in and out of rehab and 7-eleven (barefoot), shaving her head, driving recklessly (babies on board), train wreck Matt Lauer interview, KEVIN FEDERLINE, The reality show, the crotch shots….. Need I say more? You give her a pass. AND you want people to have open minds, yet, you post crap like this. Setting an example of bigotry. He takes care of those kids. No real scandal. He was found INNOCENT of all charges against him AND he has some kind of illness. Rather it a body image problem, Lupus, Cancer….BIPOLAR 1…. Is it her talent that you find so me. I scoff. Beautiful Brit Brit had pressure from the Mickey Mouse club? Two words. JACKSON FIVE.

  18. BeckiJ says:

(me=) Attractive, I mean to say; and I know the spelling or gramatical errors are my own. One more thing on his past in case it is the issue. I have kids. NOTHING would make me wait to file or would I drop charges against the “grown man” that those parents time and time again “exposed” to him. I sure wouldn’t have put them in that position. ANY OF THEM. Someone was taking advantage of someone for sure…

  19. Jen says:

ok, BeckiJ, we get it….you are MUCH holier

  20. debho says:

BeckiJ, is your problem with Trent or Britney? I truly don’t understand your rant. I surely don’t understand what your second paragraph was about. I have kids too though, as do a lot of us here.
I’ve been coming to this blog for years too and I love the fact that we’re able to have and post our opinions. And that Trent is definately allowed to have his and post whatever articles he wants. Because it’s his blog. None of us always entirely agree with everything he ever has to say, but that’s the fun of it.
@Avi…I refuse to go to that “other site” too. (I assume you’re talking about Perez?). He’s a total hack and just awful. He thinks he’s way better than everyone. I love how Trent allows us into his life and let’s his fans share theirs.
