Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green Are Dunzo!
The engagement is off

Blah … another Hollywood couple bites the dust. US Weekly is reporting that the fairytale romance between Transformers hottie Megan Fox and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (and former Beverly Hills, 90210) star Brian Austin Green has reportedly “run its course”. The couple have called off their engagement and are now dunzo!


Megan Fox and fiance Brian Austin Green have split, Usmagazine.com has learned. “The relationship had run its course,” an insider tells Us exclusively. “It’s completely amicable, and they are remaining friends.” Fox, 22 (who’ll reprise her role as Mikaela in this June’s sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), and Green, 35 (a regular on Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), now “are both focusing on their careers,” the source adds … The couple — who have tattoos of each other’s names — met in 2004 and, as Us first reported, got engaged in November 2006. Last November, Fox told Us that the wedding plans were still on. “It’s not going to be a big wedding,” she told Us at a GQ bash. “I’m not one of those girls. If it happens, it will be very low-key and quick and unplanned.” She said she and Green — who has a 6-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous relationship — haven’t talked about wanting more kids. “I feel like I need to set my career and do a movie other than Transformers,” she said. “Then I’ll explore family.” Green laughed off split rumors last year. “The last thing we do is get upset,” he told Us. “We usually go have dinner and have a glass of wine and laugh about it.” Asked last July what he loves most about Fox, he told Us, “Everything is my favorite thing about her.”

Boo … well that sucks. I remember when these two got together, Brian Austin Green was the “big name” in the relationship. In the years since, Megan has made a name for herself and is now prolly the more famous of the two. Truth be told, I really liked these two together. My friends and I even ran into the couple together at the mall in Century City a few weeks ago … they looked happy — then. But, alas, all good things must … well, you know. Sad news about these two. Here’s hoping they’ll be able to find love again sometime soon.

    I never knew these two were together…When I think of her, I think of the straight-to-video Mary-Kate and Ashley movie she was in. Not Transformers. lol

    I think they were cute together, but I’m not at all surprised they broke up considering she’s now the bigger name, is only 22, and is a fairly hot commodity right now. I wouldn’t even be surprised if her managers and agents told her she should break up with him. That’s just how Hollywood is.

    Sad news but not surprising. When Megan was interviewed on the red carpet at the Golden Globes she mentioned Brian didn’t want to join her, you could tell she was hurt by it since it was her first awards show. Not that she was nominated or anything but to just go together would’ve meant something.

    Saw this coming a mile away. He was with her before she got more famous. Everyone started talking about how hot she is and now she’s got a name for herself – she’s started to out-shine him, a lot of attention has been coming her way, probably causing a little jealousy on his part. She’s young and feeling the tempations of the fame and starting to distance herself from him as an independence. It was bound to happen.

    I bet she goes affter Zack Effron and causes some ripples in that situation.

    Why would anyone think these two are perfect together!? Reality check, much? Anyways… Megan is way too hot for what’shisface. I know it shouldn’t matter all about looks, but still. Her career is booming and it just seems like it got in the way of their personal relationship. I, for one, think it’s because of her career. For some reason men in Hollywood and in general cannot stand a woman being either more famous or making more money than them. Her interview on the red carpet of the Golden Globes was so awkward yet amazing.

    I think the age difference, more than anything, did them in. He is in his late thirties and has a child, she is only 22.

    Who knows, they may end up together after she has ‘sown her wild oats’.
