Marilyn Manson & Evan Rachel Wood Are Together Again
Last November we learned the heartbreaking news that Marilyn Manson and his much younger girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood ended their romantic involvement after rumors of their personal family strife started making the rounds. At first, Evan denied that the couple broke up and insisted that she and MM were merely “on a break” but then she did eventually confirm that the couple were dunzo. Shortly after we got confirmation, Marilyn Manson was spotted showing off a new young replacement in Florida who was presumed to be his new girlfriend. BUT, here we are about 3 months later and The New York Post’s Page Six is claiming that the couple have gotten back together again … or, at the very least, are back on “very friendly” terms once again:
ARE bizarre couple Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson an item again? They were seen leaving the W Hotel in LA together Sunday morning before Wood walked the red carpet at the Oscars. The 21-year-old actress recently denied rumors she was hooking up with her “The Wrestler” co-star Mickey Rourke – and now we know why. Our source outside the hotel said Manson emerged first and “said he was waiting for his girlfriend.” Then, she came out and they climbed into a waiting car.
AWWWWWW … see that, folks? True love really is forever. Even tho this report offers no proof whatsoever that the couple are really together together again, if they’re sharing cars then they are very probably sharing other things as well. Meh. Lurve is lurve and it should be celebrated wherever it can be found. If these two truly have found their way back to one another, then I suppose we should be happy for them … right? Right?

but i LOVE Marilyn Manson! I’m not sure about thier relationship in general… while i adore manson and would love some anonymous groupie sex (jks…kinda :P) i would never actually have a relationship with him.. he seems to be complicated and well… kinda mean and twisted… hopefully he’s got a soft, squishy center :P
but evan also seems to just absorb herself into him so that he will approve of her, which i don’t approve of.
He broke up with dita for a reason sweetie! he does not want a much years younger version of her! (i think?)

I can’t believe I’m gonna say this but…. I really kinda am thinkin that I’d rather the “Bangin’ Mickey Rourke” rumors were true and not this!!! Marilyn Manson just reeeeeeeallly creeps me out. Am I delusional or is Manson just horrifically unfortunately unattractive??

I think MM *is* horribly unattractive. I think it’s largely the lack of a defined jaw that makes him that way, as someone indicated in a comment about make-up above. I do wonder why that physical feature (and the lack thereof) is so important.
And yet, I really love some of his songs, and I even find his voice somewhat sexy sometimes…

I also agree with most people that MM really creeps me out! He is a talented musician though which probably is the reason why so many girls are drawn to him! I don’t see the appeal though (music, make up!) *shudders* I wonder what he looks like without the makeup!

Just when I was starting to sort of like her… I don’t get Manson… He just comes off as so pretentious and contrived. I’ve listened to some of his music and watched some interviews but to me he’s just a noise maker. I know he’s supposed to represent originality and the overturning of conventions… but William Blake and Robert Louis Stevenson were more successful and they didn’t pad on the makeup to make a point.

Hmmm, I guess I am weird cause I really love them together. I adore Evan Rachel Wood, I think she is an amazing actress and unique and complicated…Sure MM isn’t physically attractive but I think I trust her judgement and she seems to love him and be happy with him which I respect.

Actually, Jenn, this couple doesn’t bother me either. I don’t know much about Evan, but I have seen Manson in interviews where he came across extremely well. Sure the image is bizarre and contrived, but perhaps the man underneath is very interesting. I was surprised when I saw him in Bowling For Columbine – his intelligent answers and discussion about the relevant issues with Michael Moore were a bit of a revelation. Besides, Evan’s a 21 year old adult. She can date whoever she wants.

I don’t see why ANYONE would be scared or creeped out by this guy… I really don’t.
It’s JUST makeup!! I know people that are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY creepier than he could be… and I’ve seen some guys that were way fucking more repulsive. I’d rather hang out with Manson in lingerie, than a drunk pot-bellied redneck with a gun….
I think it’s funny that he so effortlessly achieves his goal of weirding people out…. What do u guys do on Halloween? Hide in a church?
