Now that David Beckham has publicly expressed his desire to stay in Milan, Italy (and abandon his current soccer team the LA Galaxy) to play for AC Milan, it was only a matter of time before Les Beckhams secured themselves a swanky new place for them to call home:

While I don’t think that this new villa will be the family’s main place of residence should Becks get released from the LA Galaxy to stay in Milan, it appears that these new digs will be ground central for the family when they need to be in Italy. If Becks does make the move back to Europe, I’m pretty sure the family will relocate back to their Beckingham Palace in the UK. And speaking of, Becks managed to spend sometime with his wife Vicki B. in the UK this past weekend for an early pre-Valentine’s Day celebration together:
David Beckham flew into London for 24 hours to give wife Victoria an early Valentine’s Day treat. The soccer star travelled from Milan to the UK on Saturday night (07.02.09) to spend one day with fashion designer Victoria. He booked a room at exclusive hotel Claridges and showered her with expensive flowers and chocolates. Earlier on Saturday night Victoria was spotted dining alone at Locanda Locatelli restaurant. A source said: “It was the only chance they had to meet up in their hectic schedules.” David, 33, then jetted off late on Sunday night (08.02.09) to meet up with the England soccer squad in Seville ahead of their friendly match against Spain on Wednesday (11.02.09). Being called up for the match ruined the couple’s original plan to spend the weekend together in Milan – where David is on loan from US team Los Angeles Galaxy to Italian club AC Milan. The source added: “Victoria is off to New York Fashion Week and David has his commitments with England and AC Milan.” The couple will be apart on Valentine’s Day this Saturday (14.02.09) because of their schedules. After Wednesday’s match, David will fly straight back to Milan to rejoin his club ahead of their important derby match against arch rivals Inter Milan on Sunday (15.02.09).
And so it begins … Becks‘ soccer career is already taking precedence over his wife again. You know, if he were just enjoying the LA Galaxy off season, he would be able to spend both Valentine’s Day and NY Fashion Week with his robotic wife … I’m just sayin’ ;) Meh … I’m sure they’ll make this new scenario work, whatever comes to pass. I’m just giving him grief cuz I don’t want Les Beckhams to leave LA. There has been NO official word on the status of Becks‘s defection to Milan. I suspect we’ll be hearing word one way or the other very soon.

ummm isn’t he locked in a multi year several million dollar deal with the Galaxy?? he’s been plagued with injuries and they didn’t get rid of him then, but now he’s going to abandon ship and run to Milan doesn’t make sense. can anyone figure this out?
why didn’t you post the pics of the beckhams kissing and holding hands from the other night – they are really cute. seems no blogs have posted them, its like you all only want to show the ‘beckhams in crisis’ rubbish!
oh and their spokesperson confirmed that this story was a load of rubbish!
dana j – why can’t you figure it out. the galaxy and american soccer in general is shit. beckham tried to help, but got bored and pissed off with the fact none of his team mates give a shit about their job, and with those who organise the MLS being completly useless and waaay out of step with soccer in the rest of the world. so rather than sit on his arse for 5 months like the rest of his teammates he went on loan to one of thee best soccer clubs in the league, fitted in perfectly and realised that he needs to be playing this type of football again and not the mickey mouse rubbish in america!
That is some sick shit. I don’t care if he leaves or not. I don’t watch soccer nor will I ever run into him. As long as I see pics of him all the time I will be a happy camper!
@Louisa — wow, you’re a real a-hole aren’t cha? you seem really defensive. besides, beckham is really good at sitting on his ass, the loser spent a lot of time warming the bench due to injuries during his tenure with the galaxy. i bet this move to milan, if it happens, will prove embarassing for this washed up overrated pretty boy.
x – you clearly know nothing about soccer or sport in general, because when a player is injured there is nothing they can do about it! if your injured your injured!lol!
and your clearly american and so know absolutly nothing about real football – or beckham as a footballer. he has played for the 3 best clubs – man utd, real madrid and ac milan in the 3 best leagues – premiership, la liga and serie a, in the entire world and add to that he was captain of his country for over 50 games and on wednesday will become englands most capped outfield player EVER having played for his country 109 times! not bad for a washed up pretty boy eh!?! i think americans should just stick to what they know!LOL!
@XASHX — that’s an impressive list of what he USED to be. i’m not a hater, i just think he was a huge failure in the us and now he’s running back to a place where he can hide among more superior players :)
^perhaps you should actually watch Beckham play for milan, because ive watched the last 3 games of his and he was the best player in ALL of them, and thats playing in a team with players like Kaka!
i agree with ash above , you clearly know nothing about football because anyone who does and who has actually seen the mls league and especially la galaxy could clearly see that it wasn’t beckham who was the problem it was that no-one else in his team cared. one good player cant make an entire team, and beckham has admitted so himself.
and all this rubbish about how he failed in the US. he sold out soccer stadiums all over the united states! sold out soccer stadiums! they never sell out and he was hitting 40,000 supporters. as far as shirt sells go he made the galaxy 3 times the amount of money he cost them – in 1 month. and people outside the USA actually now know that america has a soccer league! he also increased viewing figures in the united states and worldwide coverage distribution ten times over! he has made not just LA Galaxy but also the MLS a shit load of money, and thats the reason they bought him in the first place so he certainly didn’t fail. and if the galaxy actually invested that money in decent players then he would have been able to do the same on the pitch, but he’s a winger and they cant single handedly win you a game, but if you knew anything about football you would know that!
Actually he probably won’t spend lots of time on the bench being a “loser” since he’s finally found players who can also play football with him rather than the sad excuse for players the Galaxy has.
@XASHX – Don’t put all Americans into your narrow-minded drivel..I’m American and LOVE soccer/football..Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of Americans who could give a rat’s ass about the sport, but don’t put us all into one catagory! There are some die-hard fans of the sport here..My whole family included! :)
i’m so glad to see people who know soccer around here. i totally agree with Carl1988 and XASHX.
becks has shone while at milan and it’s great to see him passionate about his international career as well, because his successful stint at milan earned him his recall to the english side. it would be selfish as a fan to ask him to stay at the galaxy.
Um, no. It would not be selfish as a fan to ask him to stay at the Galaxy. He signed a contract. If he wasn’t sure about it, he should’ve negotiated a shorter deal. He must’ve known what he was signing up for.
