Home Alone, Just The Two Of Us
Last night had to be one of the most nonexciting nights of my life … and it was exactly what I was in the mood for. Altho I had only been away for a few days this week, it kinda felt to me that David and I were apart longer. We decided to just stay in last night and spend some time hanging out together. We ordered a pizza, watched movies and generally just enjoyed one another’s company … ’twas nice, let me tell you.
I am happy to report that the weather has warmed up considerably here in SoCal … we’re lookin’ at high 70’s today and tomorrow. I really want to get outside and soak up some sun. While it was great being home for a few days, I’m really lookin’ to erase all memories of the cold Michigan Winter from my mind.
This afternoon we’re meeting up with one of David’s college friends who is in town just for the day … I’m not sure what’s on the agenda for the rest of the day. We still need to get a bed, so we may do that. We’ve been sleeping in my old bed in the guest bedroom since we moved in so I guess we’ll have to get crackin’ on our bedroom sitch kinda soon.

It’s certainly warm and sunny here. We had a high of 97 here yesterday (Saturday) and looks like it’ll be another hot one. Today is the first day of Autumn…yay. I look forward to the cooler weather after our looooong hot Aussie summers.
Have fun shopping for a new bed. I’ve just been redecorating too…didn’t move house though, did that last year. But it’s so much fun to pick out new stuff!

I have a king size, it is awesome. I can’t sleep snuggled up against the hub. I am way too claustophobic and need my sleep space. So a king works great. Now we are spoiled. I love staying home. I am def a homebody.

awww, you are officially an “old married” couple! woot! ;-) Get a king size bed! My hubby and I have had one for 16 years and I can’t think of sleeping in anything smaller………;-) Oh and feel sorry for me……..I am in upstate NY where the high temp today was 15…….should be well under zero tonight!! you lucky SoCal peeps!
