First Look: Britney Spears On The Set Of ‘If U Seek Amy’

Earlier today we learned that Britney Spears is hard at work this week on the set of her new music video, presumably for the single If U Seek Amy, and now we get our first look at Britney on the set of that music video:
It looks as if Brit Brit dusted off the 1950’s wig that she used in that Pepsi commercial she did a few years ago:
You can also see that there are children in the video (presumably her own) and her daughter is dressed in her Baby … One More Time music video costume. HMMM. I can’t wait to see the final product. In the meantime, let’s look back that Pepsi commercial that featured Britney singing soda pop jingles from different eras of Pepsi:
I don’t necessarily think that Britney’s new video will be quite like her 1958 character in this Joy of Pepsi commercial but at least it gives us a good feel for what she looks like in that role. What do y’all think … will this video be better than Womanizer and/or Circus?

I’m so excited to see the whole video! Based on these pictures alone, I’m assuming it’ll be very creative and fun. I love how the daughter is in the Baby One More Time outfit too. lol

This video is SO going to piss people off. I love it! Well, it’ll most likely piss of mom’s but whatever. The song is going to be huge; I can feel it. I’m not sure if it’s a wig due to the roots (wig have roots? hmm!) but you never know. Britney had the best celebrity commercials and the best pepsi ones. I think she’s more of a Coke girl, though.

I LOVE britbrit, and I’m really looking forward to this new video because her last ones have been great… BUT… I think its a little strange to have a VERY young girl dressed in a school girl outfit dancing for a song that basically spells out that “all the boys and all the girls are begging to F U C K me”. Anyone else a little weirded out?

Man, I forgot how great that commercial was! Is that Jamie Lynn’s hair she’s braiding in “1970″? Also–80’s Britney is definitely my favorite. I love her attitude & the sexual ambiguity of her clothes.

@ GiGi – it was aired primetime during the superbowl of that year. I forgot what year, but like, ‘02 or something? @ Janice, yes that’s Jamie Lynn. @ Corey – I can see how that is weird but I don’t think she is going to sing that part of the chorus directly at them or by them… supposedly Britney walks of the house holding a pie in her hand (like above) and meets her kids and husband while they go to school or something IDK and then she hands the pie to the paparazzi and then the “If U Seek Amy” chorus comes along. I’m still heavily anticipating it.

@corey- This song was written by the same person that write Baby One More Time, which is the reason that the song starts off with “Oh baby baby…” (same as the first song) and I am assuming that having the little girl dressed up in her outfit from the Baby One More Time video is also supposed to be a play on the fact that its written by the same person. Creative–yes. Ethical–up for debate. Cute video though…
