Fergie & Josh Duhamel Share Intimate Wedding Photos With The World
Newlyweds Fergie Ferg and Josh Duhamel have only been married for a few weeks now but the couple are already to share the intimate deets from their wedding day (and night) with the public. The March issue of Elle magazine promises insider, personal photos from Jergie Jerg’s wedding … including a couple pretty intimate photos that may surprise you. First up, here are a couple of lovely photos of Fergie and Josh from just before and just after the actual wedding itself:
Whether you believe in the power of the unconscious to will your fate ever closer, or, like most of us, you simply long for a good fairy tale and a storybook ending, you can’t deny the kismet connection of this dreamboat and his dream girl, who lived through some starker realities before finding each other in 2004. They got hitched January 10 in Malibu, and much was traditional: The ceremony was Catholic; the bride, groom, and wedding party wore Dolce & Gabbana (she donned the label twice: first, her gown, and then a shorter version for the reception); the groomsmen were Duhamel’s high school friends from North Dakota. Aww … ain’t these photos purdy? Yeah, well you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. After the jump, check out a couple other photos of a fairly intimate nature that were taken IN the couple’s marriage bed — trust me, you prolly don’t want to miss the photo of Fergie undressing Josh …
This is what, apparently, happened once the newlyweds hit the sheets … clearly cause to call for the photographer to capture the moment for publication in a major fashion magazine:
New photos in March’s Elle show Duhamel, 36, playfully pulling down the strap of Fergie’s Dolce and Gabbana wedding dress. In another photo, the singer, 33, unbuttons Duhamel’s shirt; a third has the singer laying on his bare chest. Fergie told Us exclusively that her wedding — held on the lush grounds of the ultra-private 8,000-square-foot Church Estate Vineyard — was “magical, ethereal.” The affair (attended by 375 guests, including Jerry O’Connell, Rebecca Romijn and Mario Lopez, among others) was all about small details that “incorporated both our personalities,” Duhamel told Us after the ceremony. What did the groom think when he saw his bride walk down the aisle? “Keep it together, you big baby!” he joked to Us. As for the bride’s first words to her crowd? “She said, ‘I’m married, bitches!’” Wilhelmina Models president Sean Paterson told Us. “People were cheering and screaming. It was like being at a rock concert.”
Um … wow. I’m not sure how much more intimate the photos will get but these seem like a bit much to me … NOT that I have a problem at all with seeing Josh disrobed … but it is weird to see photos of a husband and wife in the marriage bed undressing one another published in a magazine. I guess the couple likes to share … a lot. I’m not entirely sure what to make of these photos … do you?

i like it… i agree it is a little weird to have such intimate photos published, but they are both so beautiful that i dont mind.

I think the pics are super pretty! I feel a little wrong for getting a flushed face when looking at Josh watching Fergie unbutton his shirt..It’s just kinda hot..

I’m not a fan of pics like that – but he is pretty hot. Actually, when I was interviewing photographers for my wedding last spring MANY of them had intimate couples photos. Like they followed ordinary couples back to the hotel room I found it odd. Even though there were very tasteful I’m much more into the moment than posing for a photo.

They look REALLY posed. I mean, it looks like a photo shoot that they just did so people would be like “Oh, they look happily married.” Really, who has photos taken on their wedding night to be published in a magazine? I don’t buy it.

I have a feeling they were totally staged. If Josh was my new hubby I would share him with no one. I think I need a cold shower after veiwing these pics. Pretty sexy. To me way too much for a just married couple.

These are so awkward. Or completely staged. Either way, I don’t under the pictures. I was expecting a way nicer dress on Fergie. I love that woman, but that dress was just gross on her. Josh is hot, though! I am happy for them!

I don’t think it’s weird at all…I’m sure they were staged photos. Like the photographers are going to wait up until 2am for their drunk asses to be done partying.

I think the last one … of them laying together … is absolutely beautiful. It’s the type of image that conveys their connection, and it’s perfect!
But yes, totally staged.
As for the dress … the train is knotted up to hold it out of the way! I’m sure it looked MUCH different (and much prettier) once she was completely ready.
