Newlyweds and Dexter co-stars Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have made their way to Madrid to do some promo work for the new season of their show to air in Spain and appeared in person at a press gathering yesterday afternoon. I can only assume that either A.) it’s really hot in Spain right now or B.) Jennifer failed to pack her antiperspirant for her trip to Madrid because, as is plainly evident in these photos, the poor dear embarrassingly sweat thru her shirt and showed off a pair of massively moist pit stains:
Truth be told, if I were standing that close to hottie Michael C. Hall, I might sweat thru my clothes too … but she’s married to him so that cannot be the reason. Fans of Dexter might know that this is TOTALLY something that Jennifer Carpenter‘s Dexter character, Deb Morgan, might do if she were forced to appear in front of a galley of press folks (then she’d cuss up a swear-storm afterward) … perhaps Ms. Carpenter was just really in character at yesterday’s appearance? In any event, I love Dexter, I love Michael C. Hall and I love Jennifer Carpenter … pit stains and all.

I feel bad for her! I’m probably just like her I sweat like anywhere, doesn’t matter if it’s cold or hot if I’m nervous I sweat. It’s annoying, but what can you do?

Wow, how rude of you Trent. It is very likely a medical condition. I am a sweat-er and I hate it and it’s incredibly embarassing. I have to use a special prescription deodrant to help control it.

Oh Meagan relax! It could be a med condition or it might be really hot in Spain. Sorry for your condition but you don’t really have a right to come down on Trent, seriously. Now as for Jennifer and Michael, I like them both but neither is that attractive in a conventional way. But I still love both of their work…Jen was fun in Quarantine!
@Avi — LOVED ‘Quarantine’ The original Spanish film [REC] was pretty fantastic but I thought the US remake starring Jennifer was great, too! So glad I wasn’t the only person to see it in the theater :)

Quarantine actually freaked me out…the setting is the reason. So many of us live in apt buildings—it kind of makes you think. What if that really happened!? Yikes. I would hope I would get a huge rent reduction :P
Jennifer C was great in it.
I think it’s normal, especially for her. I’ve always noticed that she sweats a lot under her arms in all the Dexter episodes. Some people just tend to sweat more than others.

Gossip is all fun and games, but I’m with Meagan…this is just rude. As a fellow excessive sweater you guys have no idea how much it sucks. Most people assume you have to be overweight to have such a problem, but I assure you that you don’t.

Agree Just Rude….I have that condition too and it is absolutely TERRIBLE. Even with the stuff I used to control it it doesnt help more than 50% of the time. Its so awful.
Whoever is handling their press tour should have caught this.
Who’s to say this photo wasn’t doctored and the sweat was added? People are so gullible.
You know, you can use antiperspirant, and it sometimes just doesn’t help. Regardless of gender, weight, height, physical fitness.
Also, shaving your armpits on a daily basis can provoke sweating. Or at least, the lack of hairs makes the sweat more noticeable.
I get pit stains every day at my job. It’s probably something to do with working in a very hot hospital.
Oh well, it happens. Give her a break. But I heard somewhere that celebs usually get botox injected into their pits to keep them from sweating.
Im in Spain and average temp for the last 2-3 weeks has been 13-15 degrees celsius, so i guess its a med condition
