Courtney Love Poses For Hedi Slimane
Yesterday morning we got to see a bunch of black & white photos of Lindsay Lohan taken by photographer Hedi Slimane … and today we get to see more of Slimane’s work. Courtney Love is another of Hedi’s celebrity subjects who prefers to be photographed with cigarette in hand — she also has no problem showing off her exposed breasts in her photoshoot as well. Here are a few photos of C. Love that were taken by Hedi Slimane:
These photos are very similar to the photos of Lindsay that we saw yesterday, tho Courtney doesn’t appear as frightfully skinny as Lindsay does. Just as Lindsay showed off some exposed nipple in her photos, Courtney does her one better … fully exposed breasts. Hey, it’s art, people. After the jump, check out a few more photos of C. While I not really need to see Courtney’s boobs (ever again), I do think that many of these photos are quite striking. The cigarette photos aren’t really that attractive all but I think the use of the veil coupled with the stark lighting lends a certain beauty to some of the photos. C. Love may be a trainwreck at times but she does photograph well … when the camera is in able hands. Personally, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, I much prefer these photos to the photos of Lindsay we saw yesterday. The gauntness of the Lindsay photos just turn me right off … these photos, on the other hand, are quite nice. I really do hate the cigarette photos but the others, I like. Which photos do YOU prefer … Lindsay’s or Courtney’s?

Im really loving these photos. Courtney looks amazing and to me Lindsay didn’t look all that skinny, shes looking way better than Mischa B is right now.

Lindsay was way too skinny. Not a big fan of Courtney but I wouldn’t even of known this was courtney at first glance. Much better pics

i think these are too fashion-y… not enough of the personality, all too much of a cliche. lindsay did look skinny but it seemed to me to be more personal– which I like in a portrait.

Not a fan of either Lindsay or Courtney, but I prefer the Courtney pics. They’re more interesting and dramatic. Let’s also not forget that Courtney has a very high appreciation for fashion, so if they do seem fashion-y it was probably her own idea (which implies that it does reflect her personality to some degree).

I prefer these. I really wonder how much these pictures really represent their subjects. These just really look like a representation of Courtney to me, kinda zany and exhibitionist, which makes me wonder how accurately LiLo’s pics reflect where she’s at right now… (cause she looked just a tiny step away from an episode of ‘Intervention’)

Courtney’s, I feel, are more creative. Lindsay’s pictures looked like any other pictures of her. And I like how Courtney changed it up with the poses and different outfits, props, make-up, etc.
