Chace Crawford & Ed Westwick Play Some B-Ball
New scenes are being filmed in NYC this week for upcoming episodes of The CW hit show Gossip Girl as co-stars Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) and Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) were spotted on a public basketball court earlier today shootin’ hoops and shootin’ new scenes:
As you may recall, a couple of weeks ago we saw photos of GG’s Leighton Meester gettin’ smoochy with one of her male co-stars (mebbe one of these guys, mebbe not) but it would seem that Gossip Girl is also workin’ on their bromance story lines as well. HMMM. After the jump, check out a few more photos of Chace and Ed goin’ at it on the basketball court …
Boo! I would’ve personally preferred it if the guys were playing shirts vs. skins (with Chace reppin’ the skins) but I do understand that it is cold there in NYC so … meh, I can’t blame them. I love how Ed has to be the one to show off his fancy footy skills in between takes. You can tell he really knows how to handle balls (er, you know what I mean). Chase, bless his heart, looks as if he’s never touched a basketball in his life … which is okay, he’s too purdy to be sporty. I wonder what other adventures the GG producers have in store for these two characters … I can’t wait to find out.

Actually, it is well documented that Chace is actually quite sporty. He was quite the athlete in high school. He talks about it alot in interviews
