Buon Appetito!
Yesterday was a pretty chill day … literally. With temps in the low 50s, SoCal has been “dealing” with the Winter weather … and I know that 50s sounds balmy to folks in much of the country right now but we, delicate flowers, in SoCal aren’t used to this kind of coldness. I do feel kinda lame that my Detroit, MI blood has thinned so much but … whattayagonnado? No big updates … David and I met up with Darion, Steph and Alek last night for a quick bite to eat at Century City and that was pretty much it. This afternoon, David and I are going back to the Valley, for the first time since my move over a week ago, vacuum my old apartment. The keys get turned in this coming Sunday … and the move will be totally complete. Yes, we still have some unpacking to do and yes David’s stuff STILL hasn’t arrived from NYC (we hear it’ll arrive this weekend) but our new home is really starting to feel like home. We haven’t unpacked our Snuggies yet but we’ll get there … if it remains this cold here in SoCal, I might be Snugging it this weekend ;)

Trent, I totally went to Bed Bath & Beyond and picked up two Snuggies for my two girls on your recommendation — they will be SO excited! Thanks for the tip. And yes, here in Ohio the temps reached the high 50s which seems like summer right about now!!

Well, I *was* gonna give you a hard time for the Snuggies, but I’m thinking about getting one…

@DJ — I wish either David or I could cook. If we didn’t eat out, we’d starve :(

Maybe someone should get you a cookbook as a housewarming present. Actually, I think it is fun to cook together. Kind of sexy when you are not rushed. It is snowing at my house at the moment. I have a nice fire in the fireplace and will soon be snuggie in my snuggie to watch tv.

Yes 50s sounds balmy indeed. It was in the 50s on Sunday and it felt wonderful! lol

Yeah, my Michigander blood thinned right out after a few months of SoCal weather. Guess I’m staying put!
I love how infomercial products are enjoying a resurgence in popularity =P…my fiance and I are totally thinking about getting Snuggies but he draws the line at the Shamwow ;)

I want a snuggie so bad…I’ve thought about making one, actually. Wouldn’t a homemade Snuggie be a great gift? LOL Where I live it is so cold and the thought of curling up with my arms and feet tucked in sounds like heaven!
