Britney Spears Spends Some Playtime With Her Sons
Britney Spears just updated her Twitter account with the message …
“On my way to Kentwood…. five days left! So excited! ~Britney”
… in order to give us the head’s up that she is heading home for the last few days before she kicks off her new tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in New Orleans, LA. BUT, before she gets the party started in NOLA, she took a moment to pause so that she could spend some quiet alone time playing with her children at home here in LA:

AWWWW. So cute!!! I am really happy to know that Britney will have her children close to her while she is on the road for her new tour. As much as I want her to succeed professionally, I think it is much more important for her to succeed personally. I can’t wait for her tour to officially get underway. I am going to have a HARD time staying away from tour spoilers … so we’ll see how that goes. In any event, I’m glad Britney had some time to be alone with her kids before she hits the road. It’s clear that she deffo has her priorities in order.

As much as I know its part of what comes with the celebrity life I feel for her and with everything she has been through I kind of wish she could play with her sons without pictures being taken by paparazzi. Its creepy they are outside her sanctuary.

Woo hoo the SnoozeFest Tour 2009 is beginning!!! Ok Ok I’ll stop. Enjoy Brit Brit! With the right amount of alcohol, I’d gladly dance to Toxic or the remix of I’m A Slave 4 U. Other than that, I’d be in the parking lot.

So…On March 3rd, when the tour starts, Britney will play for a sold out show…but according to your oh so clever logic that’s not good lol…..

Tom, drink much? I meant the tour as a whole, asshat. Check your facts. Selling out in EVERY city. Now, that would be a huge hit. I find it interesting on PITNB that if anyone disagrees with Trent or any poster, they are instantly shot down. When I think of pop icons, I think Madonna, Aretha, Pat B, Joan Jett, Chrissie H, Debbie Harry, Janis Joplin. Sorry if B Spears does not come to mind, lawdy lawd!

You spend a lot of energy on someone you hate Avi. Just something I’ve noticed.
I personally don’t like her music, or will ever go see a show of her’s. However, that being said, I still am interested in Britney and how she is doing. It brings a smile to my face to see her like she is in the above pictures, versus the ones like her on a gurney.

To Avi: ok, it’s completley obvious that you don’t like her, get over it, Trent as well as alot of other people on here love Britney. She is an ICON, end of story. So what exactly is the point of bad mouthing her or the tour? Whats most annoying is that through everything that she has been through, and although alot of it self inflicted, she along with 20,000 or so people will be having a blast dancing and singing to HER music come Tuesday night, the day that we can say the same about you is the day that you can blab about icon status or anything related to anything for that matter…if you want to spread the hate and negativity go on and read and comment on PerezHilton….

I’m glad that you’ve wasted enough time in the last few posts talking crap about Britney and it’s right on the heels of her breaking more records and achieving even more success with her second consecutive #1 single from Circus. As well as having her 5th studio album reach #1 as well, only excluding her Blackout album because it went to #2…so keep on hating…it only makes her even better

You are ALL right, so stop arguing.
Here’s the cold facts.
a. It’s sad that Britney has no private moments, but HER choices have brought that on. She WANTS to be constantly in the public eye. Don’t pity her, but you gotta feel sorry for her kids.
b. Britney is a TERRIBLE singer, and to say that she is a musician is an exaggeration. She is not musical at all.
c. Britney works her absolute ASS off, and anyone who begrudges her success is either jealous or ignorant.
Welcome to reality. Full of extremities and contraditions! Be honest. Y’all love it.

However:
A. It’s sad that Britney doesn’t have any private moments… especially when her privates are showing. JUST KIDDING. Bad joke. I love her. Truth is, she signed away her freedom since 16.
B. Britney only wants to be in the public eye when she wants to be, not just every time.
C. I wouldn’t say Britney is necessarily a bad singer, but not great either. She has potential if she had the right vocalist and what not. She’s decent.
D. Britney is an entertainer.

Like Avi, I could care less about Britney too. But I don’t like any of the performers she likes either. So, big deal. We’re all allowed to have our own opinions aren’t we? After all, this isn’t a fan club, it’s a blog. Some days I feel like this is turning into IMDb…and if you’ve ever been there, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

A: Britney can sing…We all know that..everyone has seen the video’s of when she was younger where she could knock the roof down..but she chooses not to..she is savy enough to know that the kind of music she makes will make her, and her record company, the most money.
B: She did not choose to be in public eye…Maybe to an extent..but not like this..Back when Britney signed her record deal in 1996 there were no paparazzi, or Perez Hilton’s…back then the glamour world was just awesome..she couldn’t have known what she signed up for….
C: Her tour consits of 45 dates….8 in London and 2 in Manchester…ALL 8 shows in London are SOLD OUT….the 2 shows in Manchester only have a couple of hundreds of tickets left (The crappy ones)….the rest of the dates in the US are 80% sold out…the other 20% are the most expensive tickets..because the most expensive ones are 700 dollars..so naturally they’re selling a little slower. And even with that in mind..she has 14 completely, even the expensive tickets, sold out shows. And..all her dates in Canada are sold out too.
D: Britney is an entertainer. She sings, dances and puts on a show. Britney wows you…that’s what she does..she continues to shock and amaze you…
E: She is a pop icon..Billboard even credits her as the driving force behind the emergence of pop music in the late 90’s…in fact…Britney has sold more records then any other POP artist in the 90’s. Britney even has the record of most sold records before the age of 21. And since then she has sold another 40 million copies!!!
