Britney Spears Lands In Kentwood Before Hittin’ The Road
Yesterday we saw a few photos of Britney Spears spending some quiet, alonetime with her sons Sean Preson and Jayden James at their home in SoCal before they all packed their bags and boarded a plane for Kentwood, LA. Britney and her crew, including Papa Jamie Spears and her still assistant Brett Miller, arrived in Kentwood late yesterday afternoon where they were met by members of the Spears clan, including Mama Lynne Spears and big brother Bryan Spears … here are a few photos:
Britney Spears is on the road again. The singer flew from Los Angeles to McComb, Miss. on Friday in anticipation of kicking off her Circus tour on Tuesday, March 3 in New Orleans. Spears, 27, arrived in at the airport – about 15 miles from her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana – looking fit and pretty in a red top and black skirt. She was accompanied by an entourage of about a dozen people, including her two sons Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, and her brother. The singer was met by her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears, who greeted Britney with a kiss on her forehead. According to a twitter posting on the singer’s Web site, she wrote that her status as of Friday afternoon was: “On my way to Kentwood … Five days left! So excited.” The tour is the last major step in Spears’s comeback, which she started last fall. “She looks great, she’s working out three or four hours a day,” a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. “Everybody’s pulling for her after all she’s been through.”
This pit stop is the last for Britney before she officially kicks off her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in New Orleans, LA next Tuesday. I imagine that Brit Brit will be recharging her batteries at home with her family for the next few days as final preparations for her tour continue to unfold. It must be a terribly exciting time for Britney right now … she’s been away from the performance stage for quite some time now. I’m trying not to have too grand expectations about her new tour. While I’m sure it’ll be a fun spectacle, I’m not really going into seeing it with any sort of expectations. I know it’ll rock … I just hope she’s ready. It won’t be long until we find out just how ready she really is.

Yay! Britney’s back; I hope she doesn’t cut the tour short for another whirlwind romance; she needs the stage–at least for a while so she can remember why she’s in this!

Her hair looks cute in a little bob!! I can’t even imagine the nerves this poor girl must be feeling..I’m sure there’s a TON of excitement, but you know she’s feeling the pressure..I’m glad that she can be with her kids and her family leading up to this..There are so many people watching this tour and just waiting for bad reviews! I know she’s going to KILL IT!

Wow that doesnt even look like her. Im a HUGE britney fan honestly, and im really excited for her but man she has some ugly ass clothes n doesnt know how to dress.

It would be really weird to leave 2 small kids in Cali, and be in Louisiana….. but I guess when you can afford to fly back n’ forth on a plane, it would be different. Still doesn’t seem like it would be close enough, though.
Also – I think her hair looks better like THAT than it does with fake hair added. Why do celebs want long hair so bad? Why don’t they GROW some instead of adding fake hair?

The weave is still in there just the way the hair is styled makes it appear really short and even her natural hair is longer than that as this barely touches her chin you can see it is not fully down just styled differently.

@ Mike-Dang. I thought she had took that weave out and decided to go natural. I loved her hair when she cut it into a bob after she left K-Fed. :-(

Am I the only one who thinks her boobs look a lot bigger?
Not trying to start an “OMG she got a boob job” rumor- but they do look larger.

Dude..ok. So i’m like the biggest spearhead ever. And I could not agree with you more about Britney. I read perez..michael k and you daily and I have to say that your opinions and the way you speak of her are so similar to mine. Britney effin’ rocks. Hands down.
She’s like that artist that honestly defines our generation…in the genre that made the time what it was. Before all the Paris and Nicoles…even a few months before Christina…Britney was the first true artist that led the way for our generation. Of the 2000s.
Either way. The key is to not expect and just experience. Don’t relish on the what it’s going to be. Because it’s Britney…..it’s going to be bad a$$. Period.
