Amy Winehouse Smokes A Blunt While On Holiday
It’s a very good thing that Amy Winehouse does not have an endorsement contract with Kellogg’s because after seeing this new photo of Amy on holiday in the Caribbean on the island of St. Lucia, well, she’d prolly get fired from that endorsement deal. Check out this photo of Amy shamelessly puffin’ on, what looks to be, a hand-rolled cigarette … I think it’s safe to guess what exactly she’s got packed in that fattie she’s smokin’:
POP junkie AMY WINEHOUSE puffs on a cannabis joint on holiday — in her battle AGAINST drug addiction. Pals say the Rehab singer, 25, smokes ten spliffs a day on Caribbean isle St Lucia to suppress cravings for class-A drugs. And they are ENCOURAGING her £500-a-week habit — as it has been giving her the munchies and helping her back to a healthy weight. A close friend said: “Amy hasn’t touched crack or cocaine for months. She has been really good. Drugs are easy to get in St Lucia but she has just stuck to smoking dope. The amazing thing is she smokes all morning then sees her personal trainer in the afternoon and is put through a gruelling workout.” The star has also been keeping busy by giving singing lessons to kids at a school near to her villa. But the headteacher was horrified when she turned up at class wearing a bra and skimpy vest. A source said: “They scrabbled around and found a spare PE kit for her to wear. Because she’s so tiny, it fit.”
Truth be told, if this report is really true … I think I would agree with these friends who are encouraging her to puff on the locoweed in order for her to gain some weight back. The use of marijuana is not illegal in all parts of the world and I suspect that it’s not at all a big deal in St. Lucia so … smoke up, Amy! If smoking keeps her away from the hard drugs AND helps her gain some weight, I’m all for it. I personally am not a fan of smoking anything but to each their own. In fact, I think it would be a GREAT idea for Michael Phelps to take a little vacay to St. Lucia while he fulfills his 3-month suspension from USA Swimming. At least down there, he wouldn’t get into any trubble … as long as he stays far away from the cameras.

Smoking weed has been linked in many cases to mental illness.
Even though I myself have been known to indulge like most of my friends, I think amy needs to go the 12 steps way, no booze, no weed and maybe no sex for a while, she needs to get to learn who she is again.

Its a nice thought that a crack and heroin addicted person could kick their addiction on an extended holiday. At least shes puffin on a joint rather than hittin the crack pipe…BUT the girl needs professional help not a holiday in st Lucia…where is she learning the skills to turn these drugs down when shes back in London faced with her old lifestyle?? Hopefully she is receiving professional help that the public isn’t aware of because she really needs it.

What a fucking idiot she is! I watched a documentary on cannabis the other day and it featured views from different angles about use of the drug – the side effects of it, eg. PARANOIA AND PSYCHOSIS and the medical use of the drug for pain relief, M.S sufferers and other forms of medical use which is actually legal in some US States like California.
Amy is still a junkie as far as most people are concerned. Potheads talk crap and can’t motivate properly. It’s another fuck-up in this girl’s life and she needs to sort herself out and LAY OFF ANY DRUGS FOR GOOD!

Given what her tolerance levels must be I seriously doubt that weed is getting her where she needs to be. She does whatever drug is available to her at the time and as soon as there’s something harder on offer she’s right on it. The girl needs a long term treatment facility and a few years spent working on her issues. I get the feeling that her “people” are engaging in a little publicity show to convince the money folks that she’s all better now and ready to work given that her paper must be getting short.

I was so excited when “Rehab” came out, I loved her voice. Got the album, didn’t like all of it but liked enough I was happy I bought it. But watching her do all this ridiculous behavior and Blaaake and the drugs- if she ever comes out with another album, I won’t be buying it. Totally sick of her stupid antics and self-destructiveness. I couldn’t care less what she gets up to anymore. Will skip over stories about her.

weed isn’t the only thing miss winehouse has been smoking. i’m sure the meth & crack have a lot to do with it. i’m sure the cigarettes help. weed, i’m sure, relieves her pain of craving the harder drugs. agreed, she shouldn’t do it while suffering from emphysema, but she’s crazy. wouldn’t expect anything less.
