A couple of days ago we learned that a new male enhancement product called USA Selikon is being marketed and sold in China using David Beckham‘s likeness and today we learn that the unauthorized sex products bearing Becks‘ sexy face doesn’t stop there. Long Life brand condoms is another unauthorized product being marketed and sold in China that very boldly features David Beckham on the product packaging … behold:

Although the Beckham contraceptive is not being endorsed by the former England captain himself, its makers claim that the users will score in the bedroom like David does on the pitch. Chinese fans of the LA Galaxy soccer star, however, want the marketing of these condoms banned. “We do not want Beckham to think the Chinese people are disrespecting him. We love him here,” the Sun quoted one as saying. Beckham’s agent Simon Oliveira said: “It’s not an official brand.”

LOLOLOL! All you have to do to have the most popular brand of condoms is to put David Beckham‘s face on the box and VOILA! Brills!! So sexy men in China pop a couple of David Beckham-branded USA Selkon capsules to get their “enhancement” on and then they can slip on a David Beckham-branded Long Life jimmy hat and they’re ready to party like our dear Becks. Absolutely brills! No wonder they’re able to sell so much of these products. And look, the Long Life condoms now contain “less lead and toxins” … why wouldn’t you want to use these condoms? I can’t wait to see what other Chinese sex products decide to slap David Beckham on the packaging or in their advertising.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is scheduled to open here in the US on May 1 but folks in France will get to see the action film 2 days earlier when it opens in that country on April 29 … they will also get their very own version of the movie poster, behold:

Here are a few photos of Katie Holmes squeezing out a few tears on the NYC set of her new film The Extra Man that is filming this week in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York. As you can see, Katie seems to have gotten her hands on one of Angelina Jolie‘s old costume from The Changeling and was hard at work filming a very emotional scene:

Oh yeah, she is really workin’ thru some stuff to get those tears a-flowin’ for this set. It’s like the director gave her a bit of direction right before he started filming … something along the lines of, “Now remember how nice and normal your life was BEFORE you met Tom Cruise and he wholly sucked the life force out of your every being and think about how you’ll never, ever get it back …. and … action!” Hey, at least Katie has a lot of emotional stuff to draw from to be able to nail scenes like this. I’m so not a fan of period pieces nor am I really a fan of Katie Holmes movies (Mad Money? No thanks!) so I might have to pass on seeing this film when it finally hits theaters. I am curious to see more photos of her filming new scenes on the streets of NYC tho. I wonder what other emotions she’ll be bringing to the table as filming on The Extra Man continues in the weeks to come.

Yesterday morning we saw a few photos of Twilight star Robert Pattinson make his grand arrival in Tokyo, Japan where he was met by throngs of rabid Twilighters anxious to be near his holy presence. Today we get to see a few photos of Twilight‘s main protagonist, Kristen Stewart (who plays Bella Swan), make her arrival in Japan … you will note that there is nary a fan in the hiz to welcome her to town:

Both R. Pattz and K. Stew are in Japan for the upcoming Japanese premiere of Twilight which will take place in Tokyo this week. Twilight fever is about to break loose upon the folks of Japan and I’m not sure they’re ready for what’s to come. I do find it interesting that Pattinson managed to get a small army of fans to come out and greet him while Kristen only had the paparazzi there to welcome her. She is the actual star … tho he’s the actual heartthrob so … mebbe it all does make sense. It’s interesting that she managed to crack an uncharacteristic smile … mebbe the lack of fans makes her happy? Judging by her recent comments in interviews, I’d bet that’s prolly the case. Next up, the Japanese Twilight premiere …
