Here are a few photos of Fergie Ferg‘s new hubby Josh Duhamel gettin’ his hands dirty with a real life handyman as the pair tried to figure out a problem on the roof of the newlyweds’ home. For some reason, Josh seems to think that he is qualified to diagnose roofing problems and therefore found it necessary to climb up on the roof like a real pro:

Seriously, all this desperate househusband stuff from Josh is really adorable. Personally, I’m lookin’ forward to the day when Josh thinks he knows anything about plumbing just in the hopes that we might get to see some plumber’s crack from the lad. Yeah, it sounds gross but you know you wanna see it, too ;) As much as I kinda am still miffed that Fergie‘s got him, ball and chain and all, I really do love the married Josh Duhamel. Watching him take all these new husband chores is kinda fun. I can’t wait to see what he’ll be doing next.

Kanye West, and his very large head, are featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Details magazine. In his coverstory, West reveals that his drive for success in the music industry is most likely derived from his “sex addicted” youth … which is all kinds of disturbing on so many levels. But, it’s Kanye West and he is God’s gift to music so … just deal with it. Here is Kanye‘s Details magazine coverphoto and a portion of his coverstory interview:

Kanye West is on another magazine cover (this time with a sure-to-be-appreciated gray-free beard) and as usual the rapper turned auto-tune singer turned fashion designer is full of Kanye-isms. To name a few:

“Put this in the magazine: There’s nothing more to be said about music. I’m the f–king end-all, be-all of music.” “Oh my God, I’m one of the greatest rappers in the world. I’ll get on a track and completely ee-nihilate that track, I’ll eat it and rip it in half. I wouldn’t have to think of it.” “I have, like, nuclear power, like a superhero, like Cyclops when he puts his glasses on.”

What other new tales of grandeur might Kanye have added to his repertoire? Just that a sexual addiction at a young age has somehow fueled his drive for greatness… “People ask me a lot about my drive,” he says. “I think it comes from, like, having a sexual addiction at a really young age. Look at the drive that people have to get sex—to dress like this and get a haircut and be in the club in the freezing cold at 3 a.m., the places they go to pick up a girl. If you can focus the energy into something valuable, put that into work ethic…” That actually sounds more like normal behavior than a full-blown sexual addiction, but if Kanye says he was a sex addict then he was probably the greatest addict to have ever been addicted to sex in the history of sexual studies. He also notes that he was a highly advanced computer programmer of sexual addiction and produced his first Super Mario Bros.: The Penis Remix in the seventh grade: “My game was very sexual. The main character was, like, a giant penis. It was like Mario Brothers, but the ghosts were, like, vaginas. Mind you, I’m 12 years old, and this is stuff 30-year-olds are programming. You’d have to draw in and program every little step—it literally took me all night to do a step, ’cause the penis, y’know, had little feet and eyes.” Cute, right? However, it should be noted that Kanye is over music and penis games as he’s now turning his great sexual addiction nuclear energy exclusively to fashion. He plans on moving to Paris and being mentored by his fashion idol Marc Jacobs. In fact, Yeezy is so into M.J., he intentionally left the designer’s number on the table for his Details interviewer to see. After all, what’s the point in being subtle now?

LOL! Kanye West is just a really funny man to listen to when he’s spoutin’ off. I love the Cyclops comment … except, someone should prolly tell him that Cyclops‘ nuclear power comes from his eyes when he takes off his sunglasses, not puts them on. And, you gotta wonder why it is so important for him to talk about that sexual video game he came up with in the 7th grade … I mean, really. It sounds a lot like when Kenny Chesney started bragging about having sex with “over 100 women” to try and get people to believe that he isn’t gay. It just sounds too contrived.

And since we’re on the gay tip, Kanye also waxes on the state of Gaydom in this new Details magazine interview. Altho he’s never been to a gay bar (and would NEVER go to one), he does reveal that he’s got love for his gay brethren. Early this year, Trent Reznor announced the availability of over 400 Gb of raw concert footage from the previous Nine Inch Nails tour Lights in the Sky Over North America. Because this footage had “mysteriously” made its way to the Internets, fans were encouraged to take it and turn it into something … cool. A band of industrious NIN fans launched the website ThisOneIsOnUs.org and began orchestrating a fan-driven enterprise to put together a tour DVD to be disseminated to fans since TR‘s old record company put the kibosh on his plans to release an official tour DVD of his own. In the past month or so, a name was voted on for the tour DVD and Another Version of the Truth was selected. Just last week, the official artwork was selected … check it out:

The winning artwork was created by Brent Bartley who had this to say about his winning design:

“I am surprised and thankful to have my design chosen for this release. I entered this without any sort of expectation, as there were many great designs to chose from, so I am truly appreciative to those who voted. A little about myself…I am an independent musician from Toronto, Ontario, recording under the name Perplexity of Things. I like Star Wars, horror films and Seinfeld. That pretty much sums me up… As for Nine Inch Nails, I’ve been a fan for quite some time. In fact, the first band I’ve ever seen live was Nine Inch Nails during the Outside tour in ’95 – which is a complete blur to me now. I’ve seen the band many times since, with the best being from the LITS tour. So I am thrilled to be a part of this project and can’t wait to see it on Blu ray! Thanks again” – Brent

I am so impressed by all the hard work that these NIN fans have put into this project, I have no doubt the final product will do Trent Reznor very proud. Victoria Beckham made a brief appearance at NY Fashion Week this week after flying in from Europe to quietly debut her dVb Fall ’09 collection to select folks and then make a showy appearance at the opening of the new Armani store on 5th Ave. in Manhattan last night. Congratulations are in order for Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen … it is being reported today that the couple are engaged to be wed — and have been since December! The couple have kept the news quiet … until now. RayDen are gettin’ hitched, y’all:

Rachel Bilson and her longtime beau, Hayden Christensen, got engaged quietly over the holidays, PEOPLE has learned. According to a friend of the actress, the two, who costarred in 2008′s Jumper, got engaged in December. “They’re so excited,” says the pal, adding that no wedding date has been set. “They’re a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief.” When contacted, Bilson’s rep told PEOPLE, “I don’t comment on my clients’ personal lives.” A rep for Christensen could not immediately be reached for comment. The engagement news was first reported by the New York Post’s Page Six.

According to Page Six, Rachel was spied wearing a huge engagement ring and when asked by a fellow passenger on a plane whether or not she was married confessed that she was merely engaged:

A Page Six spy spotted Bilson on a Virgin America flight from LA to JFK Monday night with her mom and tells us the actress is engaged to longtime beau Hayden Christensen. “A man sitting in front of her on the plane saw a ring on her finger and asked if she was married,” said our snitch, who overheard Bilson reply, “I’m not married yet, just engaged. I know I look like I’m 15, but I’m actually 27.”

Truth be told, I never really saw Rachel and Hayden sticking it out for the long run but I am very glad to see that they proved me wrong. Love should always be celebrated, well … almost always. While I STILL wish that Rachel was attached to her former boyfriend Adam Brody, I wish her and Hayden nothing but a lifetime of happiness together!!! Congrats!!

Yesterday was David’s and my 3 Year Anniversary and unlike anniversaries past, we decided to NOT take a trip and spend our anni in our new home together :) Our living sitch has been a long time coming so we are just happy to be settling in our new home together without having to jet off to any exotic destinations. Yesterday afternoon, David surprised me with a romantic picnic lunch that he put together … along with a nice bouquet of roses! For dinner, we made our way to XIV for a sumptuous 10-course meal of deliciousness. Here are a few photos from our big day yesterday:

Dinner was fab … it was David’s first visit to the eatery and he really enjoyed it. We were happy to share our anniversary dinner with Rosario Dawson who was also dining at XIV last night. It was really nice of her not to come over and bother us for photos/autographs while we ate ;) Today is the first day of Year 4 of our relationship … my, how time flies.

Tonight, I’m meeting up with my friends Kirsten, Amber and Adam to see Coraline in 3D. None of them have seen the film yet and this is the LAST WEEK to see it in 3D. Very soon, the stupid Jonas Bros. movie will be taking over the 3D theaters across the country. If YOU have not yet seen Coraline in 3D you MUST see it in the next week … before the opportunity is gone.

If you thought that Luther Campbell got busted post from earlier today took you back in time, wait ’til you hear this AMAZING news … A&E has decided to give MC Hammer his very own reality TV series that will air on the the network sometime this year. Titled Hammertime, natch, the show will focus on the MC, his wife and family. Please, Hammer, don’t hurt us:

A&E has picked up a new series starring ’90s rapper MC Hammer. The performer, his wife and five children will be the focus of a half-hour, 11-episode reality series set to premiere this year. The title, naturally, is “Hammertime.” Executive producer J.D. Roth said the show likely will play similar to an unscripted version of the Huxtable family from “The Cosby Show.” “Here’s a dad with five kids, married to the same woman for more than 23 years, living in the same place where he grew up and going to church every Sunday,” Roth said. “He’s had his ups and downs, and it’s what makes him such a character you root for.” Hammer had a spectacular rise and fall in the early 1990s, becoming a household name and selling millions of records before falling into debt and bankruptcy because of overspending on a lavish lifestyle. Hammer “now lives a more economically balanced life,” according to the show’s press materials, as a “new-age dad” in Oakland, Calif. This month, he appeared with Ed McMahon in a Cash4Gold Super Bowl ad. “MC Hammer is an iconic figure in American pop culture, but many people only know him for his music and fashion sense. Now A&E takes an unprecedented look behind his larger-than-life personality and into his life as a devoted husband, father and business entrepreneur,” said Robert Sharenow, senior vp alternative at A&E. Hammer has been offered reality shows before. Roth said he told the rap star he wanted to focus on his future rather than the past. “I really wanted to tell the future of MC Hammer,” Roth said. “What kind of dad is he?” Roth noted that having one of Hammer’s catchy early hits in the opening credits, however, would be welcome if the production can obtain the rights. Shooting on the series starts next week, with Roth, Hammer, Sharenow, Todd Nelson, Scott Lonker and Stephen Harris executive producing.

Sorry … they may be trying to go for The Cosby Show angle but it really sounds more like the Being Bobby Brown angle to me (well, sans the real star Whitney Houston) — a washed up former popstar who is trying to revive his career via reality TV? That’s Bobby Brown not Bill Cosby. But I digress … this new reality TV series sounds amazing. Tho, it should be noted that since MC Hammer frittered away all of his fortune after the end of his career, he has made a name for himself as a man of God. I understand he even had his own religious TV show on one of the Christian cable networks. So this new TV series isn’t even his first stab at a television career. IN FACT, some of you may recall that Hammer had his own Saturday morning cartoon called HammerMan back in his hey day. This one should be an easy guess, this particular actor tends to look homeless often (tho, he’d be much more recognizable if he was carting around one of his beloved K-9s). Justin Timberlake, singer-actor-designer, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the March issue of GQ magazine as the mag’s pick as the Most Stylish Man in America. Here is JT‘s coverphoto and some info about GQ‘s list of the Most Stylish Men in America:

Grammy-winning pop singer Justin Timberlake has topped GQ magazine’s list of the “10 most Stylish Men in America,” and gives his banker stepfather the credit for his dress sense. The men’s magazine praised Timberlake, 28, for his impact on fashion, his willingness to take risks and “knack for targeting trends” including hats, three-piece suits, skinny ties and beards. The timing of the award is good news for Timberlake. William Rast, the clothing line he and friend Trace Ayala launched in October 2006, is on the runway at this week’s New York Fashion show for its second outing. Timberlake said in the March issue of GQ that he got his sense of style from his stepfather, Paul Harless, a banker who laid out his suit for the next morning every night and went to work looking “like Richard Gere in (American) Gigolo.” As for his signature style of wearing a suit with sneakers, Timberlake said it was more a matter of practicality than design. “I just put sneakers on because I couldn’t dance in the shoes I had. I couldn’t leap with just insoles and dress shoes. I would’ve hurt myself,” said Timberlake, who rose to fame as a singer with the boy band ‘N Sync and went solo in 2002. Other honorees on the list of “Stylish Men” include music producer Mark Ronson, who took second place, and photographer Alex Lubomirski, who was third. They were joined by rappers Kanye West and T.I., actor Jason Schwartzman and hotelier Andre Balazs.

I would agree that Justin is stylish but I dunno that he’s the most stylish man in America. He always strikes me as a casual dresser who tends to love scarves … nothing too cutting edge about that. Mark Ronson, on the other hand, always looks sharp and put together. Even when he’s casual, he’s dressed up. That’s style. But, who am I to argue with the likes of GQ magazine?
