Musician, actor and GQ magazine’s Most Stylish Male Celeb Justin Timberlake has purchased himself a new apartment in NYC and was spotted moving a few of his belongings into his new pad. Longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel was also on hand to help with the move … and possibly move in a few of her own things as well? Could Justica be ready for such an important step together?

HMMM, mebbe not. The couple have been together for some time now … I think they can handle living together. I guess it remains to be seen if JT is ready to give up his bachelor lifestyle for a more, long-term commitment to Jessica. I think they can do it … as long as JT does everything that Jessica wants, whenever she wants and at a second’s notice — that is the TRUE recipe for long-lasting life together with the person you lurve.

Ed Westwick has been christened as the new face of K-Swiss shoes and the first promo images from their new ad campaign featuring their new spokesmodel have been released:

Along with tennis players Tommy Haas, Mardy Fish and Anna Kourniva and Hollywood scions Alexandra Richards and Evan Ross, Ed Westwick is one of the “cool people” that were cast to represent the new “Classic” sneaker — an update on their iconic style being introduced this spring. Shot by Zach Gold, the campaign is set in a white studio and shot in black-and-white. Westwick says of his involvement, “I really enjoyed being a part of this important moment for K-Swiss as they celebrate the return of an icon. I have a more traditional and classic style and tend to favor timeless pieces that I can wear again and again.”

Honestly, I don’t know anyone who wears K-Swiss shoes anymore but I seem to recall they were the shizz back when I was in junior high school a million years ago. The cool kids either wore K-Swiss or Lotto shoes (I was on Team Lotto cuz the logos could be afixed to the sides of the shoes with velcro and could be mix and matched with different colors … to coordinate with whatever Swatch watch I was wearing that day — true story) but these days, I’m not sure the caché is there anymore. Lovebirds Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson upset a bunch of folks in Florida this weekend after the ladies abruptly pulled out of an in-person engagement at Passion nightclub inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL that was due to take place on Valentine’s Day night. According to Pink reader Nicole, who was among the folks disappointed by the cancellation, the whole thing was called off at the very last second due to a “fight” between the girls:

So my girls and I were ecstatic to go to Passion nightclub tonight at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan were hosting tonight. We heard she canceled so I called the club. The guy that answered said they got in a fight this morning and never made it on their flight out of New York. They just canceled last minute at 8PM. What a bummer!

Reports of a big fight are, apparently, true according to NY Post reporter Justin Rocket Silverman who was actually close enough to bear witness to the bust-up. Last Friday we saw a few new promo images from the upcoming Hugh Jackman action film X-Men Origins: Wolverine which is due out this Spring and we also learned that FOX would be airing three 1-minute promo videos over three nights to tease the film’s release. The first 1-minute video, titled Outcasts, aired last night … here are a few screencaps:

This first clip shows a furry and mostly nekkid Wolverine about to undergo his first adamantium treatment and features flashback memories from childhood of the emergence of his mutant powers. I had my initial doubts that these 1-minute clips would be very exciting … and I was wrong. If this first clip is any indication, not only will the other two clips be just as exciting but the movie itself will ROCK! Despite the fact that Richland County, SC sheriff Leon Lott found enough evidence to arrest 8 “regular folk” on various charges stemming from that infamous photo of Michael Phelps puffin’ on that big-ass marijuana bong, he has NOT deemed it necessary to arrest and charge Michael Phelps with any crime whatsoever … even tho PHELPS IS THE ONE PHOTOGRAPHED with DRUG PARAPHERNALIA in hand and it was HIS PHOTO that caused this scandal to erupt in the first place:

A South Carolina sheriff said Monday he was not going to charge swimmer Michael Phelps after a photo of the 14-time gold medalist showed him smoking from a marijuana pipe. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said he couldn’t ignore the photo but defended his investigation. “Michael Phelps is truly an American hero … but even with his star status, he is still obligated to obey the laws of our state,” Lott said. The photo showed Phelps smoking from a marijuana pipe at a party in November when he visited the University of South Carolina. Phelps has called his judgment bad and said he would learn from his mistake. USA Swimming suspended Phelps for three months in the wake of the photo, and Kellogg Co. said it would not renew its endorsement deal with him. The photo surfaced in a British newspaper, News of the World, on Feb. 1. The swimmer, who won a record eight gold medals at the Beijing Games, did not dispute its authenticity. News of the World said the picture was taken during a party while Phelps was visiting the university. During that trip, he attended one of the school’s football games and received a big ovation when introduced to the crowd. The party occurred nearly three months after the Olympics while Phelps was taking a break from training, and his actions should have no impact on the eight golds he won at Beijing. He has never tested positive for banned substances. This isn’t the first embarrassing episode for Phelps after an Olympic triumph. In 2004, a few months removed from winning six gold and two bronze medals in Athens, the swimmer was arrested on a drunken driving charge at age 19. He pleaded guilty and apologized for the mistake.

I’m sure those 8 people who WERE arrested after this incident are thrilled that Phelps, an American hero, managed to evade arrest. Utterly absurd. The disparity in fairness of treatment between the famous and the unfamous is SO BLATANT in this case … I’m kinda disgusted. That anyone was even arrested in the first place, just grosses me right out. Leon Lott does not deserve to be allowed to be a meter maid, let alone a sheriff. I hope the folks in Richland County hold HIM accountable for his actions. I, for one, would not want him to exercise any authority in any jurisdiction that I lived in. What a sad ending to a dumb story.

The unpacking is coming along nicely now that David’s belongings finally arrived from NYC last Friday. He’s been doing a great job of putting away his clothes and disposing of his many, many wardrobe boxes. All we have left to do is find a place for all of our DVDs, put the finishing touches on the kitchen and set up our living room the way we want it. We are planning on hosting some friends for an Oscar party this coming Sunday so we really have a deadline we have to make. Yesterday afternoon, we made our way to Santa Monica so that I could pick up a new chair at West Elm for my office setup. My old $12 chair from IKEA has always been horribly uncomfortable so it was time to get a nice, cushy leather chair … which I love! My buns are very happy, too.

After we picked up my chair we met up with Kirsten, Darion and Josh for an impromptu dinner at Rock Sugar at Century City:

As always, the food was divine … as was the drink. They got some good spirits beverages there, let me tell you. Much love and thanks goes out to Rock Sugar manager Holly for taking such great care of us … she and Darion became fast friends after the collaborated on a new project together — which I shall remain quiet about until a more appropriate time. Trust me, it’s fun and I cannot wait to share it with all y’all.

Tonight, David and I were invited by a good friend to see Jane’s Addiction play a surprise, intimate show at The Echoplex here in LA. We are VERY excited … hopefully, I’ll have some great photos to share tomorrow :) The rain is really coming down here today … I have a meeting in Bev Hills that I can’t miss so it looks like I’ll have to put on my rubbers, er, galoshes and venture out into the cold. Brrr!
