Yesterday we saw photos of Leighton Meester on the NYC set of Gossip Girl filming a steaming kissing scene with one of her male lead co-stars. After those scenes were shot, Leighton and her co-star had to endure another day of filming in order to make sure that the kissing scene was filmed properly:

So … in order to keep from spoiling those of you who wish to remain unspoiled concerning upcoming storylines, I will once again keep the identity of this male co-star a secret — unless you want to see the pics. Here are a few new, supercute pics of Hugh Jackman and his little girl Ava Eliot enjoying some time together on the streets of NYC. As you can see from the photos below, Ava wanted to ride around on her scooter and her hawt dad was more than happy to join her:

Even tho these pics aren’t the hottest of Hugh ever, they are still very attractive … mostly because he is such a good dad. If I had my druthers, I’d prefer that Hugh leave the goose down puffy coat at home and wear something more form-fitting … but it is pretty freezing in NYC and I guess I don’t want him to catch cold. Hugh is always very generous with the shirtlessness … I guess I can’t complain. Tho, next time he takes Ava out on her scooter, I’d love it if he were riding a scooter of his own.

Jude Law, who is currently filming scenes as Dr. Watson in the Guy Ritchie-directed film Sherlock Holmes, will be featured in a new film directed by Sally Potter titled Rage. In Rage, Jude plays a drag queen named Minx … and here is our first look at Jude Law in all his Minx-y glory:

The image above features Jude Law, a male actor, who will be seen later this year in Sherlock Holmes alongside Robert Downey Jr. Jude Law plays a character called Minx in a film called Rage, directed by Sally Potter. Part of the subject matter of RAGE is the ugly use of beauty in the pursuit of profit. Drugged by Marketing, sapped by fear of aging, conned by the cult of celebrity… image becomes all. Jude Law, whose beauty has sometimes been held against him as an actor, made the courageous decision to accept the role of Minx – a “celebrity super-model” and took on a kind of hyper-beauty for this persona… a ‘female’ beauty which gradually unravels as the story unfolds. Strangely, the more he became a ‘she’, coiffed and made-up – the more naked was his performance. There was great strength in his willingness to make himself vulnerable. It was an extraordinarily intense part of the shoot. Okay then. I know this film must have an ‘artsy’ ‘depper meaning’ thing going on but that image scares me a little. Other cast members include Judi Dench, Steve Buscemi and Eddie Izzard. RAGE is a tragicomedy seen through the eyes of a boy who becomes a player in a high fashion murder investigation when interviews for his website start to spiral into catastrophe.

My first thought when I saw this pic was that Jude in drag looks a lot like Gael García Bernal in drag, particularly in the movie La Mala Educación (Bad Education). My second thought was that Jude makes a fugly woman (unlike Bernal who actually looked very pretty in La Mala Educación). Personally, I think I much prefer Jude lookin’ hairier … all this make-up just doesn’t really work on him. That said, I am very curious about this movie role and I am very much looking forward to seeing if Jude’s got the acting chops to play a believable drag queen. What do y’all think? Does Jude make a pretty woman and do you y’all think he can handle a role like this?

Last week we got our first look at a new batch of Armani Underwear ads that feature David Beckham in his skivvies. Today, People magazine provides two of those images in a larger, more crisp format … so another look at Becks and his bulge tightly packed inside his Armani undies can’t hurt, right?

After causing a worldwide sensation with his debut set of ads for Emporio Armani’s underwear line, David Beckham is gracing us once again for the line’s spring campaign. Wife Victoria is also starring in her own moody black-and-white ads for the Italian brand that echo David’s images. We can’t imagine a better husband-and-wife duo for this particular modeling gig. Is it just us or is it getting hot in here?

Woot! These pics are just hot … I love how Becks’s Armani Underwear ads just keep getting better. I also love that the Becks in his undies pics keep coming. YUMMO!!!!

Life and Style magazine is reporting that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson quietly celebrated their first anniversary together on January 28 by sharing an intimate dinner together in Beverly Hills, CA. While I am very happy that L. Ron have successfully made it to the one year mark together, I’m not entirely sure how the magazine can be so sure that January 28th is the ladies’ anniversary (especially since it wasn’t until many months after the girls were rumored to be involved that Lindsay confirmed their relationship) … but it sounds about right to me, so I suppose CONGRATS! are in order:

And they said it wouldn’t last! Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson celebrated their first anniversary on Jan. 28. “They snuck into E. Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills,” says a friend of the couple. “They had a quiet, romantic dinner.” Although Sam had to jet off to deejay in Toronto the next night, the two were reunited in Tampa to continue their anniversary celebration during Super Bowl weekend. As Sam worked ESPN the Magazine’s Next party, “Lindsay sat next to her booth in the VIP area and, between texting and smoking, took pictures of Sam,” says a partygoer. Sipping only Red Bull and juice, Lindsay seemed to be having a blast. “Other girls were crowded around, trying to flirt with her,” says the partygoer, “but Lindsay stayed focused on Sam.”

Love it! I shant go on, again, about how much I love L. Ron together but I will say that I am very relieved that those rumors about a possible break-up were completely wrong. You will note that we’ve not heard much from these two in the past few weeks, which leads me to believe that they’re more interested in working on fostering the health of their relationship rather than hitting the party circuit. It is quite an achievement for a couple to stay together for a year, especially in Hollywood. I honestly believe that these two will stay together for a long time to come. I’m not sure about forever but I don’t see any end in sight in the foreseeable future. Happy Anniversary, L. Ron!

Again, no real news to update on the personal front … yesterday was pretty much more of the same … work, slow unpacking, blah blah blah. David and I did manage to get out of the house yesterday to run some errands at The Grove before he went to the gym. Afterward, we met up with Steph and Alek for a little hang-out session … honestly, we were ready to spend some time with other people :) Not that we weren’t enjoying our time together, it’s more that the endless boxes were getting old.

Slowly but surely, we’re gettin’ there. I have an appointment this afternoon but I really want to make a dent in my unpacking. I’ve determined that a bunch of stuff has got to go … I see at least a few bags of donations to drop off in my future. I also have a bunch of laundry to take are of as well … UGH.

But honestly … I wouldn’t want to trade my life for anyone else in the world :)
