Victoria Beckham Likes Her Fake Fur To Look Really Real
Vicki B., who is finally making her way back home to the US after a quick trip to Milan, Italy to ensure that her husband David Beckham is behaving himself … and to attend a few Milan Fashion Week shows, made a grand arrival at the Milan Airport yesterday wearing a very ostentatious and awfully lifelike fur coat that is supposedly faux. Here are a couple pics of VB and her coat, which really does resemble the dead carcass of a once-living animal, making her way into the airport … looks real, huh?

I mean, I suppose if one were in the mood to wear a faux fur coat, one would want said coat to look as lifelike (deadlike?) as possible … otherwise, why go for the look in the first place. I can’t say that I find the fur (fake or not) very attractive cuz, as I mentioned above, it really does look like she’s wearing a splayed, yet fluffy dead animal around her neck and shoulders. But, I’m sure, we can take comfort in the knowledge that the fur coat is genuinely faux. In regards to the massively oversized purse …

… Yeah, that would be a bona fide, authentic Hefty bag.

lmao hefty bag haha. Well the bigger the bag the smaller you look ;)

LOL……Hefty bag…really Trent…..lol
But seriously, I don’t like her look here. Even if it is fake, it’s just sad that she would wear that but it’s just my opinion.

I feel similarly torn. On the one hand, it’s great that she does not wear real fur…on the other, I think her public persona leads people to assume it is real, thus perpetuating the glamorous fur image. For people who can’t afford real-looking fake furs, they may imitate by buy vintage real fur. Freakishly large bags are in for spring…seeing this makes me think that as a scrawny, petite person I am going to have to skip that trend…ha ha.

I totally think it is fake. I don’t think she would say it was fake if it wasn’t. That could really come back and bite her skinny ass!!

I don’t know…I’ve sprayed painted a lot of fur coats in my day and this defintely doesn’t look faux. Does anyone have a can of Dazzling Red spray paint on hand?

I really hope it’s fake…. but it looks so real…. either way she is promoting killing animals for their fur… ewwww

I can’t worry about the faux or not faux fur because HER FUGLY HAIR IS BURNING A HOLE IN MY BRAIN!
January 23rd, 2009 at 1:01 pm

but her hair kills the picture .
and someone like her makes it look okay to
kill animals for there fur.. when its clearly not ,

To me, what is worse is that horrible handbag!
Didn’t her hubby spend over 10,000 pounds on a handbag for her?
January 23rd, 2009 at 3:33 pm
her hair is awful. makes her look even harsher. she needs longer, softer locks.

I always kind of wonder, are the people who are talking about fur being bad wearing leather shoes…
Dead animal is dead animal after all
January 23rd, 2009 at 4:02 pm
kate, you are an idiot. There is no difference between a fur coat and a leather coat/bag/shoes/belt/football. It’s all animal skin, some with the “hair” still on it, some without.

Nice use of the Hefty logo, Trent. I applaud your Photoshop prowess on this one. Well played. :p

I feel that people who are against fur should be against all uses of animal skin/hide. It’s easy to be holier than though about fur, but about your leather shoes? What about your hamburger? Your Chic Fil a?
Why is it ok to pick and choose which animal want to save? I’m a meat-eater. Survival of the fittest. Where’s my cheeseburger?

No one wants to wear the skin of the cute and fluffy animals. But, cows are SO ugly. They need to die.

LOL Hefty bag!!
I think the fur (fake or not) is absolutely hideous. It’s like she just glued a bunch of fox butts around her shoulders. She’s such a gorgeous woman the tackiness of the fur just takes away from it.
January 24th, 2009 at 1:39 am
Some people will do just everything for PHOTOS, folks!!
January 24th, 2009 at 10:06 am
Nothing wrong with wearing fur. Unless of course, it’s ugly. That’s not really the best look, but if it were cuter, whatever.
January 24th, 2009 at 10:18 am
I’m not a big fan of her bag either because the lime-colored version is much prettier.
I’m so confused here about your tirades against fur. You eat meat. Those animals were killed in order to feed you and the people around you. You drink milk. Do you know the torturous methods that are used in order to get that meat and milk into your refrigerator? I think it’s fine to say that you don’t support the fur industry but please note your hypocrisy here. If I’m wrong, I’d be happy to admit so once I hear any sort of reasonable excuse for this.

Heres my thing. Fur from an animal killed specifically for their fur is wrong. However cows and pigs are going to be killed anyways whether you like it or not, theres no way to get the world to stop eating them, so why not use the skin if they’re gunna die anyways. However, these animals should still be treated humanely.
