Good news for fans of the movie version of Twilight … Summit Entertainment has revealed the official artwork for the upcoming DVD release of the megahit movie that was just released a couple of months ago … behold:

Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) doesn’t expect much when she moves to the small town of Forks, Washington, until she meets the mysterious and handsome Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson)—a boy who’s hiding a dark secret: he’s a vampire. As their worlds and hearts collide, Edward must battle the bloodlust raging inside him as well as a coterie of undead that would make Bella their prey. Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling sensation by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight adds a dangerous twist to the classic story of star-crossed lovers.
The DVD artwork looks pretty standard, no big surprises … interesting, tho, that the “bad guys” are featured on the DVD artwork even tho they weren’t in the film very much. I might’ve featured the Cullen family instead but, I suppose it doesn’t really matter. As yet, there has been no release date announced for the Twilight DVD but now that we know what the artwork will look like, I suspect a release date is imminent. So Twilighters … do we like?

[...] info at Pink is the new blog and Just Jared PS Trent from PITNB wants the dvd to include body glitter. But what about a tube top [...]
@trent
then the tweens can DAZZLE just like eddie. what they should really include is an ef-ing paper bag for the all the inevitable hyperventilating that will be happening in bedrooms all over the country!
@nikki
oh? hyperventilating happens in your bedroom? something else happens in mine….
:)
release date is v-day…yaaaaay. =)
she kind of looks like she’s in pain on the cover, or bored.
wow. what the hell is what I think…I absolutely loved the book kristin stewart as bella? she never claimed to be frightened or even scared of edward in the book, and the artwork depicts her as being scared as hell! hmm, not trying to hate here but I think they could have at least TRIED to pick something a bit better.
mmmmmm cam gigandet.
Looks good. Theres supposed ot be some good extras…about 12 deleted scenes and the commentary from catherine, rob, and kristen. Kristen will probs stammer awkwardly, rob will be hysterical as usual, and catherine will prob have random zany comments that make sense only to her. Hopefully it’ll also provide some insight into some of the scenes that caused alot of criticism about how they were shot/directed.
a lot of reviews i’ve read of the book and movie complain that the villain part came too late and that it was the most interesting part of the story. maybe that’s why they put them on the dvd cover…but frankly i think it should have been the Cullen family. they play a bigger (and i think more important) part in twilight and subsequent books.
Like you said, standard. I would have liked the Cullen family on the cover too but w/e.
@trent – Edward Cullen Body Shimmer?

hahaha omg so ugly
To Wendell – It is a mega hit!!! You may not like it and it may be flawed but it has made more money in the cinema than James bond did and that is saying something!!!
So, Edward looks weird.
I hate it. It’s so generic and we can all agree that we’ve seen these pictures many times.
i love the cover…it looks so much better than the other two twilight posters….i wish they used this poster for the movie
