Tori Spelling Is Ready To Join The Cast Of ‘90210’
A couple of weeks ago we learned that Tori Spelling was in final negotiations to reprise her star-making role of Donna Martin on the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off series 90210 … and today we get to see just how much hard work Tori achieved so that she could return to the world of 90210 in the best shape possible:
Seven months after giving birth to her second child, Tori Spelling has regained her figure – and just in time too. The Hollywood actress, who gave birth to daughter Stella via C-section in June, has signed on for a reoccurring role in new 90210 as Donna Martin, the same character she played on her father Aaron Spelling’s original TV show. She is set to reunite with her former co-stars Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, who also signed on to the show last year. Before landing the contract, Tori, 35, said: “My dad always wanted to do a new version of 90210, so I’m sure he will be beaming from above! And I’d love to somehow be a part of it. That as well would make my dad proud.” Tori, who also has a 2-year-old son Liam with her husband Dean McDermott, worked hard to regain her physique ahead of the part. She told InTouch magazine: “When I got my body back after Liam, I was happy. But this time, I was like ‘I kick ass!’ I’m a working mum of two, so to know I did it all my myself was huge.” The 35-year-old gained 3.5st during her pregnancy which she shed steadily after the birth with the help of a healthy diet and exercise. “Breakfast was yogurt, fruit and nuts. Lunch was homemade soup with a sweet potato or soy milk base. We’d snack on celery and peanut butter, and then I’d make lean protein with vegetables for dinner. I would go for long walks or biking with the kids. We’d do physical activities every day. I’m proud! I could’ve gotten here sooner if I was fanatical and worked out extensively every day, but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m so happy I did it with my family and in a healthy way.”
Wow! Tori looks great! It’s clear that she’s been working really hard behind the scenes in order to get her body in shape to rival the skinnys who inhabit the world of 90210. I’ve held from the beginning that Tori Spelling deserves to be on the show with her BH, 90210 cohorts so Donna Martin’s introduction on the show is way overdue. I can’t wait to see Donna make her grand entrance on the show. At this point, we aren’t sure when Donna Martin will be returning to 90210 but I hope it’s soon … we’ve waited too long already. Any guesses on what sort of drama Donna may bring along with her? Do y’all think she’ll still be married to David Silver? Do tell!!

They’d really need to explain things if her and David are no longer together. They’ve been on again off again (mostly on) since 1991!
Here’s hoping she’ll be in town “on business” or something and that they pay Brian “Austin” Green his price and bring him on board for an ep or two!

I can’t get excited about it. Donna–while stylish–was always so annoying; David–while cute–was always an ass! Never liked Tori Spelling either. I can do without her…
Her boobs don’t look sexy at all, but wow…those abs! Good on her!!

I love love love her. She was most def…….. one of my fav characters on the show. i’m so happy to see her on the show again even tho i’m really fond of the newer version of this show. i def… perfered the original version. But what evs, ill start to watch more eps when she comes on. i really wish luke perry or brian or the rest of the cast makes a cameo or something. oh and tori looks fantastic

There is not a chance in hell that she got that body from “long walks and biking with the kids” and that she did it “all myself.” I hate when stars say that. Just be honest you had a trainer and a tummy tuck. That said, she looks amazing.

I love Tori and am glad she’ll be back on the show but I agree with Bob, no way did she get that figure by taking long walks! It irritates me to no end when celebrities say stuff like that, the only thing more annoying is when they insist they eat cheeseburgers and avoid the gym yet just magically have this perfect figure.

I read on Zap2 it that “Donna” will come back when Silver has some sort of breakdown — Silver, her sister in law! So hopefully that means she and “David” are still together!

First thing I thought when I saw the pictures was , Wow, what she must have suffered to get a body like that.
Yeah I agree with Bob – no way you can get those results without sweating hard and eating little. Seriously, just soup for lunch? She’s over 30 with children….it’s normal to have some fat. Yet in order to make herself decent for tv she has to make herself over to have a body that rivals the younger stars of the show. it’s sickening.

why is so hard for people just to be nice and say a compliment,yet so easy for so many to say stupid mean things, it makes you seem more of a loser. I think she looks amazing, not only for her age but for having 2 kids as well.

BC, Canada..yes i HAVE had a c-section but my scar can still be seen, i guess it depends on each case how the scar looks. I mean jeez, didnt know i was pushing buttons. Sorry!~

i don’t know if she’s currently breastfeeding, but if she is this is not a great diet. she needs a little more whole grain carbs, protein and calcium. plus, peanut butter is not great for pregnant and nursing woman (can pass peanut allergies to the baby). almond butter would be a better all-around choice.
