Robert Pattinson Got In Trouble For Cutting His Hair
Says blabby 'Twilight' co-star

E! Online‘s Marc Malkin is reporting today that Robert Pattinson, who famously rocked a luxurious and wild head of messy hair before cutting it all off last month, may have gotten into a bit o’ trouble with his Twilight bosses for gettin’ the haircut. Ashley Greene, who played Alice Cullen in the Twilight movie and who dished that Vanessa Hudgens auditioned for the role of Leah Clearwater in the upcoming sequel New Moon, spilled to Malkin that she “heard he got in trouble for cutting his hair”:

Ashley Greene still thinks Twilight star Robert Pattinson is “totally adorable,” but she’s not thrilled he cut off his signature long locks. “I heard he got in trouble for cutting his hair,” Greene, who will return in the much-anticipated Twilight follow-up, New Moon, as vampire beauty Alice Cullen, told us last night at the In Style/WB Golden Globes afterparty. “But what can I say? I like guys with longer hair.” She promises not to raz the British hottie too much about the new ‘do. “I think he’s getting enough flack, I’m sure,” she said. “I mean his every move is recorded and photographed and documented, so I’m not going to give him a hard time.”

Greene goes on to say that the entire cast is THRILLED that Taylor Lautner has been allowed to retain the role of Jacob Black in the upcoming sequel, saying, “Everyone loves him. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous to think that someone could replace him.” She goes on to say that fans should not be concerned about any changes that may happen to the plot of New Moon, she promises “they’re keeping it fairly close to the book.”

I, too, am happy that Lauter will be playing Jacob in New Moon and I’m encouraged that they plan on keeping the plot “fairly close” to the book but I suspect there will still be major changes in the movie version (ie. more Edward Cullen). I’m not at all surprised that Robert Pattinson got busted for cutting his hair … showbiz bigwigs are notorious for getting pissy when their stars make drastic changes to their look. I liked Rob‘s new haircut but I’m sure he’s already hard to work growing it back as fast as he can in time to begin shooting scenes for this year’s sequel.

I can see where he would get in trouble for cutting his hair with “New Moon” starting filming in the next 2 months, but COME ON! Give the poor guy a break! I don’t blame him for one second for cutting his hair. He could see that people where mainly noticing him for his “trademark” hair and not for his acting abilities.

Who cares? I think he looks so much better with short hair, it’ll grow back.

  3. Gaby says:

I believe he can grow his hair back by the time filming begins, cause he seems like a HOT hairy GUY LOL

  4. Alisa says:

If they put Vanessa Hudgen’s in the movie, I will not be watching it or any of the other sequels.

  5. Aidan says:

Robert’s magical hair will return. REGARDLESS, the boy is a hot piece, which is really all that matters.

    *********SPOILER ALERT*************

Do you think that for every time Bella “hears” Edward in New Moon, he might actually appear there… so that he gets more screen time?

I think they will definitely want to give him more screen time because he is a big reason so many girls see the movie. I’m hoping the extra screen time will be showing what he’s doing while he’s away from Bella and tracking Victoria. I think if it shows Edward when she “hears” him it could get confusing.

good for Robert for cutting his hair if it was bugging him–take lots of vitamin A, folic acid, biotin. Robert doesn’t seem stupid–I am sure he has a well thought out hair plan for New Moon and the rest of the Twilight series. Eclipse is my favorite.

I second the Vanessa comment. She is NOT the person to play Leah Clearwater in ANY way. I will be so disappointed if they cast her.

  13. Jim B. says:

He’s gorgeous with his new haircut and, like said above, it will grow back! It won’t take that long!

  14. Jim B. says:

Oh, and I LOVE Ashley Greene as Alice! She is so cute and wonderful.
