Nekkid Madonna Up For Auction
Check out Maddy when she was a Pre-Madonna

Earlier today we got to see the first image of Madonna posing with Brazilian model (and rumored romantic fling) Jesus Luz from the upcoming W magazine photospread shot by Steven Klein … and now we get to see a bit more of Madonna than we are used to seeing these days. Christie’s Auction House in NYC is offering up two original photographs of Madonna that were shot 30 years ago back before she became the pop music icon we know now. Both photos are expected to fetch at least $10,000 at auction but one of the photos is getting a bit more attention … photographed by Lee Friedlander, the extra special photo features Maddy in full nekkid repose:

Two photographs of Madonna set to appear in a Christie’s auction next month will probably sell for at least $10,000 each, according to estimates posted on the company’s Web site. One, a full-frontal nude black-and-white photograph of the singer, was taken in 1979 by celebrated American photographer Lee Friedlander for a series of nudes he was working on, said Milena Sales, a spokeswoman for the auction house. Madonna was about 20 when the photograph, one of several, was taken. A handful from the shoot appeared in Playboy magazine in 1985, Sales said. Christie’s put price estimates for the photograph at $10,000 to $15,000. The second photograph of Madonna was taken in the 1980s by Helmut Newton. In the Newton photograph, which is in color, Madonna is wearing a short dress and black stockings with garters. The circumstances behind the photo shoot were not immediately clear. The auction will take place in New York on February 12.

After the jump, check out a larger size version of the 20-year old nekkid photo of Madonna that is up for auction at Christie’s that is said to fetch at least $10,000 when it goes on sale next month …

Great boobs! What’s with the wildabeast growing out of her na-na???

  2. Traci says:

Umm, there is nothing wrong with pubic hair, there’s a reason we have it. It’s not unsanitary, and it’s not gross. The popularity of the hairless look is really only fairly recent anyway. While a complete lack of grooming isn’t particularly aesthetically pleasing, neither is a complete lack of hair.

  3. Sarah says:

her nipples are so tiny and gross… not to mention the forest she’s growing down there… yay the 70s.

  4. Sara says:

I second what Traci said. It was a different time when people didn’t feel like they needed to get rid of every single hair on their bodies to be sexy. Check out Playboy from that time and all the ladies have got “Power Muffs,” lol.

  5. Christie says:

OMG look at the arm pit hair!!!

  6. debho says:

Okay, so I’m showing my age here, but I remember those shots in Playboy way back when. She’s just a few years older than me….guess which one of us grew older more gracefully.
BTW, I never had all of that hair everywhere, even in the 70′s. No one did in fact. She was just skanky. Some things never change.

  7. Daniel says:

OMG… im shocked… i became more gay than iam.. but i gotta say nice boobs… n_n

  8. Annie says:

While I’m a fan of shaving, it’s dismaying to see so many people calling this “gross”. I agree with those who have commented and pointed out how unnatural our fixation on having absolutely no body hair is.

  9. Lydon says:

Without considering the pubic hair and her recent and over the top muscle growth, this pic just reafirms my belief that Madonna has always had one of the best natural bodies ever!!

  10. amy says:

I really don’t get what’s wrong with pubic hair. What concerns me more is the weird look on her face here in the spread legged pic. What’s that about?

  11. Paz says:

why are people yelling gross at body hair? are you all 10 years old? i agree with annie. i shave but i prefer body hair over looking like a little girl.

  12. Traci says:

“BTW, I never had all of that hair everywhere, even in the 70’s. No one did in fact. She was just skanky. Some things never change.”
People did, and still do, have body hair everywhere. For some it’s fine, for others it’s coarse, dark, and thick. Some shave, some trim, some just don’t touch it. And the amount of body hair that one has does NOT make them skanky.
And I’m glad some other people who agree with me read this and spoke up. =)

  13. Ali says:

Not only was she not into shaving her pubes, it looks likes she wasn’t into shaving her pits either.

  14. tatiana says:

I didnt even notice how attractive her rack was because I was busy being blinded by the vast array of hair in the crack of @ss and arm pits. This picture looks like 70′s porn. Nice placements of stars Trent. lol

  15. Heather says:

I don’t get what the big deal about the hair is. I mean..its hair. Most of you have some on your head, don’t you? So what if its placement is in private areas…ITS JUST HAIR. Get over yourselves.

  16. love88 says:

thats really gross..who would want to buy a photo of an unshaved madonna? would you like to see a national forest?

  17. debho says:

Traci, I was mainly referring to her armpits and legs. Most women have been defuzzing for years. And as I said, I remember that Playboy article and even then most people…especially the men….hated all of that hair. Besides, hairy pits do tend to smell and that’s offensive. How much pubic hair you have is a matter of choice, but it’s pretty gross when there’s hair hanging out of your bathing suit. Keeping it trimmed is just good grooming. Most women worry about their hairstyle, why wouldn’t you worry about the rest of your hair?
I didn’t mean that having hair makes you skanky, I just think Madonna is. Always have done, always will. Just my opinion. Like always.

  18. Janet says:

In 1979 she was only 21…if she were 30, she’d be turning 60 this year instead of 51.

And seriously, who cares about some body hair?

  19. Wow says:

    Damn… I thought I had a lot of hair.

  20. SeanCase says:

As a straight male, I find the photo very pleasant, even with the hair. I actually prefer hair over tattoos anyday. Someone wrote “hairy pits do tend to smell”, I think the key is washing each day. She looked wonderful back then… not if she would just cover up and fitting into her role as a 50 year old mother of three.
