Morrissey Gets Nekkid For His New Single
Pink readers LyndyLoo and Mark have alerted me to the fact that Morrissey (alongside the lads in his band) has decided to appear nekkid on the innersleeve artwork of his new single I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris. Wearing only 7″ records (ahem) to cover their willys, Moz and his boys seem pretty proud to show off their stuff:
I gotta admit … I likes what I see. While the dudes in Mozzer’s band (well, except for the guy directly to Moz’s left) have pretty nice bodies to show off, I’m most impressed with Morrissey’s sexy bod. That song is fantastic. I’ve heard it several times on the public radio station I listen to online. SO much more cheerful than some of his other stuff.
Oh yeah, the records… you’d think they would have opted for 33’s, although I know 45’s are easier to, um, hold up. Get those boys some spray tans!

Yeah Trent that one guy doesn’t have a perfect body..so what? No offense, but you seem to have a habit of putting down men who don’t have a gym bod status. I don’t want to make a big deal out of it, but who said you had the world’s best bod??

Ok so I overreacted..and I love you, but you always point out weight problems and the like with people. Geesh, not everyone can be Hollywood perfect. You are not, I am not. Most people on here are not. Give the guy some props for having the courage to get nekkid!!

The “bigger” guy is Boz Boorer, Morrissey’s long-time collaborator and lead guitar player. He’s the only guy that is still playing with Morrissey since his split from The Smiths and beginning of his solo career. He’s an awesome guitar player and a pretty irreplaceable part of Moz’s band. Even if he’s a bit tubbier than the rest of the band, he’s definitely earned his spot behind that 7″ record.
