Michael Lohan Needs Help
Last month, Michael Lohan — estranged father of daughter Lindsay Lohan — launched his official blog to much fanfare and began publishing blogposts about things as varied as his daughter Lindsay Lohan to, well, his daughter Lindsay Lohan. The last blogpost that piqued my interest was a quick message about how he and his daughter Lindsay Lohan have called a truce … and then I kinda forgot that he existed. But today, Michael Lohan has posted a new blogpost asking for all y’all to help him … help his daughter Lindsay Lohan. Here is the full text of Michael Lohan’s latest blogpost, as always all spelling and grammatical errors are his own:
Like I said in the past, “if I see or hear of anyone or anything causing harm or is seen as a threat to my children,” I will speak about it, and do anything I can to try to intervene regardless of the repercussions on me. With that said, after seeing promise and thanking God for Lindsay’s freedom from SaMANtha’s bondage, I see now, that since SaMANtha has once again, weaseled her way back into Lindsay”s life, things have taken a dark turn. While I was enthused that Ali was with Lindsay, rather than SaMANtha, I am torn to see that SaMANtha has once again manipulated Lindsay into leaving her little sister in LA, only to join SaMANtha on another DJ gig in Boston. Was this again, a means for SaMANtha to earn more money through Lindsay”s presence? Did SaMANtha’s fee drop so much and so quickly when word got out that they parted ways? Are we so blind? Is Lindsay so blind? I know Dina and my kids aren’t because they tell me so. But then again, why does Dina tell me one thing and do another?! When a mother or father sees their child in turmoil (losing weight, not working, and purportedly cutting herself) are we supposed to stand by , remain silent and pretend it isn’t happening? Or are we suppose to step to the plate and not care what people think, and do something about it? Well, as you can see, I’m not going to sit back and let it slide. I am asking everyone out their to intervene in every way possible to help Lindsay, and quite possibly, save her life. Help this wonderful, good hearted and gifted young lady to see what SaMANtha is doing to her and how she is destroying her life. Help her to see that ever since SaMANtha came into her life, nothing good has come of it. As a matter of fact, Lindsay hasn’t used her gifts like she did before meeting SaMANtha. Just LOOK! The proof is there! These aren’t just words, but FACTS! PLEASE HELP!
Seriously … just when you thought that Michael Lohan couldn’t sink lower into desperation in order to gain a little attention he has to sink, well, lower. Who is he talking to in this post? Why does he think that throwing out random accusations to anyone who stumbles across his blog (which, I must surmise, isn’t very many people considering that no one has even bothered to leave a comment on his site … most likely cuz no one is there to read it)? Daddy Lohan has always seemed to me to be a very needy person … with this new blog, he comes across as a whiny child who doesn’t get the attention that he craves so he acts out, screaming as loud as he can to get people to notice him. I really think if Michael Lohan got a life of his own and refrained from trying to live a life thru his daughter Lindsay Lohan he’d be a much happier person. But, honestly, I doubt he’ll ever change. I’m sure he’ll be whining and crying for years and years to come. Sad.

He is a total fame whore, but I pretty much agree with him. I don’t think she looks happy at all. A smile every four days does not constitute happiness. She looks awful.

@Jeff — It is a sad commentary on celebrity and worth talking about. Even whiny babies should be patted on the head every once-in-a-while. Plus, it was another opportunity for Aretha Franklin’s hat to make a cameo.

Is it bad that I actually chucked when I saw how we wrote SaMANtha? But then it made me feel bad for Lindsay that she has such an @sshat for a dad.

He handles things poorly but I bet there is some validity behind his concerns. I don’t, however, think anyone can be blamed for Lindsay’s behavior expect Lindsay. People can influence you but they aren’t the enemy – she has a brain and can choose to use it if her partner is not benefiting her.

@ SPICE exactly and that right there is the difference between a father like Jamie spears and michael lohan Jamie said from the getgo that some ppl might have taken advantage of Britney but she was the one who caused her mess. He needs to stop blaming other ppl for her mistakes, stop talking to the media, and help his daughter ugh its not that hard. I swear to god Jamie spears should adopt lindsay and help her like he did Britney.

I think he gets all of his information about his daughter from gossip sites. In the last few days those pictures of the “cuts” on her wrist have surfaced, and Perez always refers to Ronson as SaMANtha.
He makes me ill. I would be doing drugs/drinking/cutting myself if I had a father like that. Poor girl.

He seems to have read word for word Perez Hilton’s comments on Lindsay and Sam, he even used the same spelling as Perez….now that makes hims even more pathetic than his normal rants!

She is rail thin again. He really does not need to air his concerns publicly, but I am sure Linday or her Mom don’t listen to anything he says. I think Lindsay was in a rough patch and Sam helped her through, but I don’t think Sam is doing her much good now. Seriously, NO ONE around her cares about her weight loss? Her own mother just wants money but her sister? GF? no one cares that she is rail thin? My bf would notice and take action…

he’s such a douche.. and he thinks people are stupid, his daughter has been a mess since for ever, she has improved a little bit since she started hangin out with samantha but seeing her so skinny the other day is proof that she only uses her head to transport her hair.

If Mr. Lohan wants to help Lindsay I hink he should discuss the subject with his family instead of making it public.
I feel sorry for Lindsay, she seems to be surrounded by famewhores, except for Samantha (I don’t know much of her so I’ll give her the benefit of doubt)

The way he wrote Samantha’s name, makes me think he has some kind of deal with PEREZ??? … seriously – could these two be working together to cause Lindsay and Samantha problems? … I would not put it past either of them! Without a doubt Michael Lohan is bipolar …. He says he will stop talking about Lindsay one week and trashes her the next … He’s totally erratic.

I think it’s awful that he would make accusations like that against Lindsay and Sam on this blog….if Lindsay is as he says “cutting herself” does he really think it is wise to post that on a website for anyone and everyone to see? I’m sure if Lindsay is having problems like that, he should keep that quiet and it should be dealt with by the family. A father should not want the whole world knowing that sort of thing about his daughter…but like you said he is a needy, attention-whore, and I think it’s just so sad that poor Lindsay and the other kids, have such a shithead of a father, who is more concerned with getting attention for himself than the welfare and privacy of his children….what a LOSER!!!!
