Meet The Cast Of ‘Survivor: Tocantins’
CBS has unveiled the new cast of Survivor: Tocantins, which premieres on February 12 at the same bat time, same bat channel. Among the new crop of “survivalists” vying for a chance to outwit, outplay and outlast their competitors for a million dollar prize are folks from a variety of walks of life … including a bartender, a US Army sergeant and a model. Perhaps the most interesting contestant, at least by celeb standards, is the inclusion of a former member of the 90’s pop group SWV (Sisters With Voices). Here are the official bio photos for all 16 contestants (the SWV chick is the first photo):
As a former member of the pop group SWV, Taj Johnson-George managed to survive the album charts in the early ’90s. Is she ready for Survivor…or will she be too “Weak”? The singer is one of 16 new castaways on Survivor: Tocantins—the Brazilian Highlands, the 18th installment of the Emmy-winning CBS series.
Jeff Probst will host once again, but the beginning of the season is all about first impressions. The contestants—who also include a school principal, an Army sergeant and a cattle rancher—have already been divided into two tribes. Before the castaways even have a chance to speak to one another, they’ll have to choose one person from each tribe to stay behind. As a CBS release says, “Will this mean the end for these two individuals or will they get a second chance to make a first impression?”
Viewers can find out when the season kicks off on Thursday, Feb. 12. In the meantime, here’s a list of the potential million-dollar winners:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Taj Johnson-George from SWV is among the new cast … I really loved SWV back in the day. I just hope she doesn’t turn out to be a dud of a competitor … I want her to bring it and bring it good. When I first read “As a former member of the pop group SWV, Taj Johnson-George …” all I could think of was–Whoa! SWV! They all had crazy long fingernails in their videos!! That’s all I can really remember about that crap–the crazy long fingernails, showcased in that blast from the past video.

I meant to say “That’s all I can really remember about that GROUP” –not crap! I never thought they were crap, but I was texting someone about something completely different at the same time and that word was used, so it was in my head and I inadvertently typed it instead. Apologies to SWV!!

Gone are the days when there seemed to be some variety among the contestants. Now all it takes is to look good in a 2 piece or shirtless and you absolutely must have a personality as bland as a saltine. I don’t necessarily want to see massive flab or wrinkly butt, BUT the interesting thing about this show has always been the mix of people that in real life would never associate or live together. This just looks soooooo boring…..

You should google contestant Candace Smith’s name and Colin Farrell’s name together. It looks like there are some skeletons that haven’t peeked their bony toes out of her closet yet.

She is married to Eddie George! Eddie is a legend in Columbus, OH. She was at the game were his jersey was retired. There kids are cute! Go SWV.
