I’m just going to throw a comment on this because nobody else did. Yes, thankfully, my theatre did show My Bloody Valentine in 3D, which was really exciting. I admit, I moved my head out of the way a couple of times when crap flew out at my face, haha. But I don’t think nobody noticed to make fun of me : )
It was really entertaining, and a good way to spend the afternoon. I had no idea who the heck the killer was, it seriously kept me guessing, so I take that as a really good thing. I’m a big Jensen Ackles fan, so seeing him on the big screen, in 3D, was awesome. Plus, a mini-Dawson’s reunion, him and Kerr, who was great too.
And I still can’t believe that Joaquin wants to rap. I mean, if he was going to sing, like country songs like in Walk the Line, I could see it. River sang too, I think. But rap? RAP? I don’t think it’s doing too much for him these days, he looks homeless.
I think the carnival that was Sundance might not recover to it’s partying past. Not so much the recession, but the reaction to the Mormon push that put Prop 8 on the books should be considered as a secondary reason. We shall see…
I don’t get Amy Winehouse. Shes been seen running around with other guys and she won’t let Blake divorce her? She is such a nut…o glad the producers from speed the plow aren’t letting jeremy Piven off easily. He cost them a ton of money, ticket sales dropped alot after he left which is bad enough beforeyou factor in how other shows have been doing in this economy. I was upset at first, but now that William H. Macy is taking over in time for when I have tickets,I can’t wait!!
I’m so done with Amy Winehouse I’ve said it before, she’s a hot mess with or without drugs, she is going to make sure she is addicted to something, wether it be crack, booze or sex, and she does like to be decadent, I’m not saying she’s bad, but their are other singers who are just as talented who aren’t going to mess it all up. I hope she gets her life on track, but it’s so messed up how she behaves, I was so right about what I said in the last amy thread about her being as messed up as the husband, he is no worse than her, she is no better than him, they really do deserve one another.
Oh my other favorite trainwreck Amy Winehouse… so let’s just see if I got this straight now… she hasn’t seen her hubby in god only knows how long because he’s been in either jail or rehab, she’s been chillin in the Caribbean with some new hottie (who clearly doesn’t read or watch any sort of entertainment media) and yet when her husband files for a divorce she refuses… uh huh yeah that totally makes sense… if you are on crack! Oh wait…
