As I type this post, David is on an airplane making his way here to SoCal so that we can begin our lives together. I’m so excited, anxious, nervous and freaked out all at once. This day has been in the making for years, I cannot believe that it is finally here. As a result, today will be my last day in my North Hollywood home. On my morning walk to Starbucks this morning, I snapped a photo of the North Hollywood Sign (which is much less impressive than the world famous Hollywood Sign) that I have passed into town for the past 2 1/2 years:

While I am very happy to be moving onto bigger and better things with David, I admit I’m gonna miss my little Valley town. I live on the South corner of NoHo right near Studio City, very close to Toluca Lake (where Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron live, eek!) which is a very cool area. I don’t live very far from the Millennium Dance Complex, the place were Britney Spears has spent much time over the past many years working on dance routines for music videos or live performances. I’ve always refrained from trying to run into her at the dance studio, something about the proximity to my home always weirded me out.
I have a lot of love for my little neighborhood, I’m gonna miss it.
David lands in a few hours and then we officially begin the rest of our lives together. We get the keys to our new place later on this evening … very exciting times :)

Congrats Trent!
Congratulations, and all my best wishes for your shared future!
congratulations!!! this makes me so happy :)
Hey Trent! Please post pics of your new place!!!! (not the outside because I am sure you do not want stalkers)
@Reb — I’ll see what I can do, no promises tho :)
Aw Trent congratulations on the moving onwards and upwards :) It’s always sad to leave a beloved place behind, but I bet you can’t wait to start this new chapter in your life. Best of luck getting the keys and all!!! K :)
Argh so cute! I’ll be jumping off something tall now… xD
Awww, once David gets here and you get possession of the place you will feel better. You can still drive by the old place if you need to, and stop into your old Starbucks. Once you get settled into your new place, you and David will have fun getting to know your new neighborhood. In no time at all it will feel like home.
congratulations!! it’s such a beautiful thing you and dave have…
and i’ve been your reader since the beginning and “read” you through such a wonderful life-changing relationship you are having.
I hope the best for you!!!!!!! lots of kisses
Congratulations! Its a big step but its SO worth it! Starting your life together is one of the best experiences you can have. Best of luck on the move and just enjoy that you get to have the person you love with you and you get to share all of this together!
XOXO Kaytee
Also It is good to have ‘before’ pics of a new place so you can see all the cool stuff you have done to it when you look back over the years. I did that and am very glad I did.
Congrats to you, Trent and David :) WOOT! So happy for the two of you–i have been reading your vlog for some time and really enjoy your holiday/vacation pics. together. Glad you will be living together now–FINALLY :) I have always heard that “NOHO” is very “cool”. I am certain you will enjoy your “new digs” :)
good luck and congrats! I’ve been to the dance complex and took a lesson their before from a friend who’s in an emerging boy band called v factory with Ashley Tisdale’s boyfriend Jared Murillo.
Holla Trent!! I’m so happy for you and David taking on this new journey together. It is hard to leave an old place behind (esp. because it is your first place since moving to LA, right?) but you will grow to love the new place just as much. Have so much fun tonight getting the keys and let us know tomorrow how it goes!!!

Aww, congrats! LIving together can be hard sometimes (becomes easy to take the other person for granted), but it’s SOO worth it and it can be the best thing ever if you work at it. Good luck!
Oh! I am sooooo happy for you and David. Congratulations!!!!! I really do wish you two nothing but the best! Great, now I’m over here all dreamy eyed…:)
Wow! What I can’t believe is that you left Detroit 2.5 years ago already – it only seemed like yesterday!!
Congrats on the move and looking forward to reading all the details of the settling in.
What a wonderful thing. Congratulations to the two of you and I wish you much happiness.
