Kelly Clarkson Is Droppin’ A New Single
Kelly Clarkson is such a tease … homegirl just debuted the official artwork for her new single My Life Would Suck Without You with nary a clip of the track to whet our collective whistle. By the looks of the shiny single cover artwork, it looks like Kelly has succumbed to the pressure laid on her by her record label to put out more pop-friendly music:

While I think it would suck to know that Kelly had to resort to shiny happy music at the behest of her label bosses and against her musical integrity, it does sound like she is really excited about the new as yet untitled album she recently finished recording. According to her official blog, the tunes on her latest effort still need to be mixed and mastered and according to her official My Space profile, the album is already available for preorder HERE. I love Kelly Clarkson … I think her last album was pretty damn good and would’ve done much better had her record label boss Clive Davis not sabotaged it by badmouthing the album before it even came out. I’m anxious to hear what Kelly’s new tunes sound like … I suspect we’ll be hearing My Life very soon.

This CD is going to be incredible. I agree with you, Trent, that it sucks Kelly has to create music her label wants her to make (rather than what she wants), but it really does seem she’s proud of this record. I’m especially looking forward to the tracks she worked on with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and producer Howard Benson.

I had just mentioned her the other day too. I’m so glad she’s coming out with new music I just hope there’s still “Kelly” in there. We’ll see!

My December was AMAZING! It was so underrated and people never gave it a chance. I am glad to see that she is back. I have seen her live twice before and I can’t wait to see her again! She looks hot on the cover!

AHHHHHHHHH I LOVE HER!! Love the cover. My December was amazing and did not get the credibility it definitely deserved. My life would truly fucking suck without her. Can’t wait to hear some new stuff!!

Lana and E are right. MD was a great CD and it’s unforch that the world never got to hear and appreciate it. Looking forward to the new CD and having Kelly back on the radio.

She needs to do what other REAL artists are doing, follow your contract, but do what’s true in your heart as a side project when you’ve gone household. Plain & simple.

I loved My December as well. I can’t wait for the new music.

I think she looks fantastic. The cover is fresh, fun, and sexy. I love the sarcasm with the sucker.
This album is going to put Kelly back at the top of pop radio where she rightfully belongs. I think that she’ll get the promotion she deserves with this album.
I still think it’s a shame the way she was treated with My December. It was a personal, vulnerable, and introspective album that deserved the support of her label.

I love that picture of her. She looks gorgeous and very sexy. We rarely ever get to see a “sexy” Kelly. I simply cannot wait until the new album comes out. That old fart Clive Davis really did ruin My December’s chances of being a huge success. Hopefully, this new record will bring Kelly back to the top where she belongs.

hahahaha…what a brilliant song title…the title with the cover is too biting to truly be shiny-happy pop music…can’t wait to hear it…
