One too many champagnes, JRM?
Ruh roh … it looks like poor Jonathan Rhys Meyers partied a wee bit too much during last night’s various Golden Globes festivities … the poor lad had to be helped to his car by a kind friend of his, behold:
Yikes … can you imagine what the poor guy might’ve looked like if he had actually won and had cause to celebrate? HMM, I guess he was drowning his sorrows or something. Well, better luck next Awards show, JRM.

Didn’t he go to rehab last year for drinking?! Not a good sign…tho he IS a major hottie…
@jess: Thats totally what I was thinking! He checked himself into rehab last year. He’s hot but has some serious issues with his drinking….maybe some would disagree but that definitely affects his hotness.
Last year was his second stint in rehab, I believe. I hope he/s okay. Damn, he’s hot. HIS LIPS! ZOMG

Alcoholism is a b&&&&. It’s not so easy, folks, and rehab does not always work the first 6 or 7 times!

Don’t get me wrong. I love Trent and his posts. But it is VERY possible Jonathon was photographed at bad times.

Yes- he has his arm around another guy…which usually means someone is being propped up.
But not always.
Just saying.
It was a special event, he had a good time and he wasn’t driving. So why not party the night away? You gotta have fun and live it up every once in a while, maybe even weekly. But just responsibly, that’s all. If it creates danger or interferes with other parts of your life then yeah, it’s a problem. I see nothing wrong with JRM partying after the Golden Globes.
All I know is that the guy he is with must VERY short, because I saw JRM in person at the MI:III premiere, and he is not exactly a big guy….

i have an idea. why don’t these bloody parasites with their fucking cellphone cameras get lives of their own and leave these actors alone to do their work – and party if they want to? they owe the public a good performance – AND THAT’S ALL.

A friend of mine worked with JRM on a movie two years ago. Apparently, the guy has an “assistant” with him at all times… and this “assistant” is always at least 6 inches shorter than JRM. He has big issues with his short stature (not unlike Tom Cruise), and is always compensating.
I even wonder about shots like these, whether they were staged so that he could be “leaning” on someone who appears averaged height but is shorter than JRM? Seems like a stretch, but according to my friend he’s a totally weird guy. Wouldn’t put it past him.
Oh, and apparently he’s a big jerk, as well. Or BJ for short, hehe.
That short guy JRM is leaning on is accomlpished director Jim Sheridan. I’m sure he has better things to then to make JRM look taller. And yes since he has been to rehab JRM likes to stage scenes so people will believe he is drunk.
