A couple of weeks ago we got our first listen to Kelly Clarkson‘s new single My Life Would Suck Without You … a few days later, the song was made available for download on iTunes and it immediately became the #1 most downloaded song. Earlier this week we were told that fans would be given a preview of the vid during tonight’s episode of American Idol … but why wait, you can watch the video in full right here:
The vid is pretty cute, there’s an awful lot of cutesy boy-girl love in this music video. I think I was expecting a bit more excitement but it is pretty simple. Much like the song itself reminds me of her hit song Since U Been Gone, I have to admit that this video resembles that video as well. Mebbe she’s trying to make lighting strike twice? I really love Kelly and the song is okay. Like, I can listen to the song itself but I won’t repeat it over and over like other songs that consume my ears where I have to play it over and over again. The music video is decent but doesn’t really fit in… like the whole band thing and what not. She needs to do more versatile stuff. I will buy her album, though!
