First Look: Kelly Clarkson, ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’
A couple of weeks ago we got our first listen to Kelly Clarkson’s new single My Life Would Suck Without You … a few days later, the song was made available for download on iTunes and it immediately became the #1 most downloaded song. Earlier this week we were told that fans would be given a preview of the vid during tonight’s episode of American Idol … but why wait, you can watch the video in full right here:
The vid is pretty cute, there’s an awful lot of cutesy boy-girl love in this music video. I think I was expecting a bit more excitement but it is pretty simple. Much like the song itself reminds me of her hit song Since U Been Gone, I have to admit that this video resembles that video as well. Mebbe she’s trying to make lighting strike twice? i heard the song on the radio, but i thought it sounded nothing like her. [the voice, the music just sucked again]
But maybe that’s just me but whatever.
i don’t like her, but i do hope she’ll sell loads of records, cos she’s been working hard.

Totally fun, it’s good to Kelly – well any Kelly – for that matter juts putting out good music. Catchy, summery and soo much better than the last :)

i love Kelly, and i think i’m one of the few ppl who liked her previous album. i like the new song, and really can’t wait to hear the rest of the album, and really hoping it would be great and better received then her previous album coz she deserves it….

I like it but can’t keep from hearing Sarah McLachlan’s “Sweet Surrender” when I listen to it. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll still drunkenly rock-out to it.

*sigh* YES, we like! I mean, she looks freakin’ gorgeous! I love this girl! And the video is simple, but so cute. The throwing of the clothes out the window is reminiscent of SUBG, yes, but it reminds me more of Low with the truck and Kelly singing with the band. I love it. It’s so nice to see a happy Kelly. :)

I really love Kelly and the song is okay. Like, I can listen to the song itself but I won’t repeat it over and over like other songs that consume my ears where I have to play it over and over again. The music video is decent but doesn’t really fit in… like the whole band thing and what not. She needs to do more versatile stuff. I will buy her album, though!
