Brad Pitt Reveals That He Did NOT Have An Affair With Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt is going on the record for the first time to flat-out deny that he had an affair with Angelina Jolie while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. It was commonly believed that Brad and Ange fell in love (at first sight, I believe we were told) on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and began an extramarital affair behind Jen Aniston’s back … but, in a new interview with W magazine, Brad clarifies that there was no “dastardly affair”, stating that his relationship with Angelina began after he “respectfully” ended things with Jen. HMMM. This is the first time we’re hearing about this after all these years … seems a bit fishy to me. Here is the cover of the new issue of W magazine which accompanies Brad’s revelatory coverstory:
Forget any potential catfight between Brad Pitt’s former wife, Jennifer Aniston, and his current partner, Angelina Jolie, the actor says in a new interview. Despite Aniston’s recent comment to Vogue in which she called Jolie “really uncool” for revealing how she (Jolie) couldn’t wait to go to work with the married actor on Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Pitt tells the February issue of W magazine, “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.” The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star, 45, also says of Aniston, “We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.” As for his take on what took place with Jolie off-camera during the 2003 Mr. & Mrs. Smith shoot, he says, “What people don’t understand is that we filmed for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t.” He adds, “I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”
Curious … very curious. You’d think that someone (Brad, Angelina, Jennifer) would’ve made very clear YEARS AGO that Brad respectfully ended his marriage with Jen before he started his relationship with Ange, especially in light of all the heat that came when news broke that Brangelina were an item and that Brad and Jennifer were dunzo (in that order). I am VERY curious to hear what Jennifer Aniston has to say about these new comments when she sits down for her next interview … cuz you know someone’s gonna ask if Brad is right about there being no affair. At this point, it doesn’t really matter but if Brad is trying to retell the history of his relationship with Angelina in order to make him look better (in the eyes of his kids?, the public?) then that’s some shady biz right there. alright ladies and gents, I’ve been saying this since this crap happened! its easy to do that math and realize its all bull.
They filmed MM Smith for a year correct? ok so that means that they had a bout 8 or so months to “fall in love” on set BEFORE the gossip started about an on set affair (remember that?).
Then the mags started saying trouble in paradise and did that for 2 months or so before they finally said “We’re separated” thats when press started for MM Smith.. Thats when Ang and Brad were standing 50 feet from each other at all public outings and didnt do any interviews together. After the movie premieres they start being seen together and then he’s going to africa and Ang says “I WOULD NEVER BE WITH A MARRIED MAN”.
This is alll before the divorce was done and final yall! They were out adopting kids long before october 2005 when the divorce was set in print!!!!
Then the divorce is finalized and BAM angie is pregnant with that weird hick lookin shiloh kid. Celebs usually take 3 months to see everything is ok before announcing it publicly which means angie was pregnant in october. But that doesnt add up now does it? thats only 7 months till Shilohs birth! That means she was pregnant in august which inadvertently means she was fucking a married man.
Anyway Brad always comes out with something to knock Jen down. Every time Jen has a moment of spotlight or attention, Brad comes and takes it away and puts it back on Angelina. This article just shows that he WANTS people to see Jen as a victim. This is the first time shes ever spoken about it and people are still saying “stop whining Aniston!” when she never has before!

I think that the reason that everyone has kept their cool and there hasn’t been a lot of ACTUAL cattiness between Jen and Angelina is because everyone really is better off. I think Jen wanted a few more years of freedom, and Brad was obviously ready to have kids – and that’s a huge difference to overcome in a relationship. When they ended things she got to keep her sexy image and he threw himself into being a father. Now, he’s got the face of a father of six kids, but he loves being a dad. She’s still posing naked on the cover of GQ and she has a sexy young boyfriend at nearly 40. Everyone seems exceedingly happy in spite of the media torment. Brad also seems to have helped calm Angelina down a bit being that she was a bit batty before.
Also, MAJOR props to Brad for sticking up for Jen. Whether he’s lying about the affair or not, it was very decent of him to acknowledge that Jen wasn’t trying to start a fight.

Whether or not he physically did anything with Ang, he certainly can’t deny an ‘affair of the heart.’ Falling in love with another woman and staying in a relationship is still cheating imho. I’ve been in his position and I know that what I was feeling towards the new guy was not right and not fair to my bf. I agree Trent – a true gentleman would have come out with this info and put an end to all of the rumors asap if it were true. Clearly someone in the camp (prob Jen) was not in agreement with him and his actions at the time.

I really feel that if he considered himself Jen’s friend after the divorce he would’ve said something earlier. Everyone was already speculating about an affair and he let Jen take it all on her own when he could’ve at least tried to put rumors to bed.

*shrug* Angelina said all along that nothing happened until after Pitt and Aniston had split. Brad told Larry King the same thing. It wasn’t that neither one spoke out about the timeline, but that most people don’t choose to believe their version. In the end, who really cares? It’s not our business and wasn’t our marriage. Ok, I don’t like Brangelina and Jen, but in the case, I am kind of with Jen for her “uncool” comment.
Even they didn’t sleep together during Brad’s marriage to Jen doesn’t make things right, but they had absolutely flirted intensively for Brad to leave Jen. So the intention of both sides was there. If Angie is so affected by her parent’s history, she would just not flirt with any married or engaged guy at all knowing what that will lead to. Stealing someone’s lover seems like a thing she does. Cases in hand, Brand Pitt and Billy Bob. Billy Bob was engaged, then just got married to Angie without telling his fiance or something.
Usually this kind of thing happens in Hollywood and we shouldn’t really care much, but Brangelina is posing such a I’m saint, I did no wrong kind of front, is really disturbing. If they’d just either admit up front, or just keep quiet for the rest of their life, it would be much better. It kind of makes it hard to like them.
4 years later tell the magazine reporter that she felt in love with Brad during the movie, sounds like a intention to stir up press and makes it all the more hurtful for the abandoned woman.

I have to agree with Trent. Brad had years to step up and say there was nothing sordid about his and Angelina’s getting together. He could have said something MUCH sooner, but then again, the whole Branjenlina affair would have popped back up when Angelina opened her big dumb mouth about falling in love on set. Brad says in this interview that they(him and Angelina) don’t need a publicist, but I’m thinking they clearly do.
That being said, I think it’s great that he and Jen still check up on eachother and Brad was clear about her importance in his life then and now.
Honestly, I’m so sick of these three, though. At this point I don’t care when Brad screwed Angelina. We know Brad and Jen’s breakup was amicable and that there was still a lot of love between the two from the last photos we saw of them together shortly before the split.
We will never know everything that went on with them.
None of them are Saints. Brad is aging….well badly and quickly which is sad, but it’s nice that he is embracing it. He can’t stay the young golden boy forever.

I read Brad’s interview regarding this unphotoshopped photo on W; he stated he deliberately asked it to be “real”, with no touch ups, etc. Well, now we see the results of KARMA. I’ve noticed this relationship has proved POISON to both angie and brad. Their movies suck, they both have lost what magic they possessed on the screen, and are both looking very old and tired. I’m not a team anyone, and i can see the , how do i say this?, lack of proper mental processes ….in both of them thru their performances when paps are taking shots of them and the true selves shown in these recent picts….either way, they are on their way out of the movie industry, angie herself has said so. I’m not a fan of Angie and Brad fan. But I strongly believe that they are meant for each other. And I admire them. She is a very beautiful lady. Who among us lived a saintly life? What is important is that, Angie evolved and became a woman with purpose and determination to change the world. She seemed so sincere in helping the less fortunate. What have we done so far to help the poor? How could people always want to criticize and only look at the speck on her eye… and never see the goodness in others. Brad’s marriage to Jen is not meant to last. They have different views on family life. He wanted to start a family and she wants freedom and fame. Now Brad had all his wishes come true with Angie and I believe both Angie and Brad are in a very good place and in love with each other.

maybe he’s finally coming out with this information because he and angelina are losing popularity to the new hollywood kids and they need some more money to provide for their 4382904 children.. or maybe he needs the money to get more botox.. just a speculation…
