Guess Who Sees Dead People ‘Everywhere’

Who's getting scared now?
Saturday, January 17th, 2009

Can you guess which young Hollywood starlet was spotted on the streets of SoCal this week wearing a t-shirt that shows her fear/affinity for vampires:

This young lady is very famously involved with an older gentleman (who is quite the hottie, it must be said) even tho she was photographed all by herself when this photo was taken. Can you guess who it is? After the jump, find out if you are right …

Eliza Dushku Does ‘In Style’ Magazine

Faith the 'Dollhouse' player models a few hair'dos
Saturday, January 17th, 2009

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel star Eliza Dushku appears in the new issue of In Style magazine modeling a few look-changing hair’dos in order to promote her upcoming new series Dollhouse which premieres on FOX on Friday February 13. Here are a few photos of Eliza from the mag:

As I mentioned previously, in Dollhouse, Eliza plays the character of Echo — a woman stripped of her own personality and who is programmed with new personalities on a weekly basis .. therefore, she makes the perfect person to model these new looks for the mag. Of the three, I think I like the ponytail look the best … the bob ain’t doin’ it for me. To be honest, tho, Eliza looks pretty damn good no matter what hair’do she’s rockin’. Which of these three ‘dos do you prefer?

Frak Me!

The TV Guide
Saturday, January 17th, 2009

Yesterday was a totally chill day … I spent the most of it working but managed to get in a lot of relaxin’ at evening time. I really didn’t do anything very exciting at all, just read a bit and watched some TV. As I mentioned yesterday, Battlestar Galactica returned with the first of 10 new (and final) episodes last night — which I made sure to watch as soon as it aired:

Holy Frakkin’ Hell! The ep was good and, I thought, a great way to kick-off the coming half-season of new eps. At long last, the 5th Cylon was revealed and the cliff-hanger from last June was kinda, sorta resolved. There is so much more to come, I can’t wait for the rest of the eps to air. In case you missed it, folks here in the US can click HERE to watch last night’s ep Sometimes A Great Nation in full online.

I read the entirety of Ayn Rand’s masterpiece Anthem before going to bed, I’ve got The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged lined up for reading next. I may get out and enjoy the sun today but … no pressure. This is one of my last weekends in my current apartment. I think I’m gonna spend as much time at home as I can, while I can.

Happy 87th Birthday, Betty White

The Golden Girl turns another year young
Saturday, January 17th, 2009

Birthday Lurve goes out to the beautiful Betty White who is celebrating her 87th birthday today. Best known for her role as Rose Nylund on the hit 80’s sitcom The Golden Girls, Betty is still in hot demand in Hollywood to this day. Please join me in sending out all our love to her as she celebrates another year of her amazing life today:

These days, Betty can be seen in her recurring role on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful … additionally, Betty works tireless for the animal charities that she has championed over the years. At 87, Betty is showing no signs of slowing down. I wish her a very Happy Birthday and look forward to wishing her many more birthdays to come.

Kingston James Plays Superhero

Also plays with his very own Blackberry
Saturday, January 17th, 2009

Here are a few photos of Kingston James, firstborn child of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, out for a nice day at the park with his nanny here in SoCal yesterday afternoon. Kingston was all dolled up in his stylin’ Ray Ban sunglasses and shiny superhero cape … check it out:

You will also note that Kingston spent some time checking out his messages on his very own Blackberry smartphone. It’s amazing how quickly these kids grow up. One day they’re suckin’ on pacifiers and the next they are tapping away on their personal digital assistants, composing messages to lawyers, agents and managers. They sure do grow up fast, don’t they? Personally, I’d wait ’til my child was at least 6 years old before I got them their own cellphone, but mebbe I’m just old fashioned.
