Cavorting on the beach in yet another bikini top, Amy Winehouse looks healthier than she has in years – and appears to have attracted the attentions of a mystery man. The Rehab star cuddled up to an unidentified hunk as she continued to make the most of her holiday on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. Wearing a beaded halterneck string bikini with a floral pattern, the 25-year-old showed off her new curvier figure. The pair playfully messed around together before Amy’s male friend proceeded to rub suntan lotion on her back. Last week, the singer was alleged to have had a secret affair with an unidentified man who played Father Christmas at her Caribbean hotel. The singer was reported to be ’smitten’ with the man, known only as Matt. A guest at the hotel in St Lucia, where she has been looking happier and healthier than ever, was quoted as saying: “He seems to be really easy going and funny, which Amy loves. With her clear skin, glossy hair and obvious lust for life, energetic Amy is a world away from her previously bedraggled figure suffering from the excesses of London life.” The playful star appears to have taken on a new sporty persona during the break. In recent days, she has been pictured joining in a game of football with her friends, practicing her handstands and frolicking in the sea. Amy has been enjoying a holiday away from it all with her friends and family on the island.

Uh, this would be the SECOND hot guy that Amy has been spending time with since the weekend (click HERE to see her with the previous, unnamed gentleman). UM … WTF? y’all! How are these hot dudes interested in Amy freaking Winehouse? Man … I say, she ditch the drugs and just hang on to these Caribbean studmuffins. Surely, she’ll live longer and would enjoy a much healthier future. I say, hang on to these hunks, Amy … and never leave the islands. That way, it’d be a win-win situation for everyone concerned.

Last week we saw Hugh pack up the family and make their way out of NYC … I understand that the Jackmans made their way up to Okemo, VT to ring in the New Year on the slopes at a ski resort there. I had assumed that that family would be making their way back to OZ to enjoy the lovely Summer weather down there … but it looks like they’re back in NYC for a bit. To be honest, Hugh was just carrying this little dolly for his daughter Ava who was following behind him … but I just had to post the pic that even with Betsy Wetsy in hand, Hugh Jackman is a sexy beast. When last we saw lovebirds Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon the couple had sneaked off to Ojai, CA to do whatever it is that they do when they are together … but last night, the pair were spotted sitting courtside at the Staples Center in downtown LA where they were spied cheering on the LA Lakers … behold:

Actors Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal found a novel way of banishing the post-Christmas blues yesterday by watching a basketball game hand-in-hand. The couple appeared to be having a whale of a time as they cheered on the L.A. Lakers as the team played the Portland Trailblazers in Los Angeles. Witherspoon, 32, and Gyllenhaal, 28, clearly enjoy each other’s company as they spent most of the match laughing together. Seated in the front row next to movie mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg the pair watched the Lakers beat their rivals 100-86 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Oscar winner Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal, who met on the set of Rendition, have been dating since April 2007. The Walk The Line actress is divorced from actor Ryan Phillippe, with whom she has two children, Ava and Deacon. Witherspoon recently admitted she’s not sure if she wants to marry again. She said: “I don’t think about it much… it’s important to stay open to whatever your relationship evolves into. I have a certain idea of what I thought marriage is and the whole life and [the way] things are, and sometimes it doesn’t work out that way. There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce. Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen. At the moment, I am not far enough out of being married to think about doing it again.”

Yack! I dunno if I’d be able to handle it if these two actually got hitched. I like them very much as pals who hang around together and nothing more. I don’t mind a Lakers game or two but the thought of GyllenSpoon taking their relationship into holy matrimony is where I draw the line. No way. No how. I won’t stand for it. Nope.

Paris Hilton and her younger, less famous sister Nicky have been spending the past week or so down under in Australia where they have been partying it up from Sydney to the country’s Gold Coast … they even spent some time at the famed Summafieldayze Festival to frolic with the natives … tho, the excitement looked to be a bit much for the elder Hilton who suffered an attack of the wonk eye:

The girls, who are now in Caloundra on the Gold Coast for a music festival, arrived in seventies-inspired attire for the Summafieldayze 2009 event. Sometime fashion designer Nicky, 25, opted for a vibrant floaty kaftan and ethnic earrings with aviator shades, while ‘professional celebrity’ Paris went for a nod to the trend with a sparkly headband and braided hair. The sisters braved the muddy festival environment in matching pink printed wellies. Impressively, Paris, who has recently been linked to George Clooney, managed to avoid getting any dirt on her white printed wrap dress. Paris and Nicky have been Australia since New Year’s Eve. The girls spent the evening at Sydney’s Trademark Hotel, where Paris was hosting the launch of The Bongo Virus, the world’s biggest online New Year’s Eve party.

Paris usually does a pretty good job of keeping her unruly eye under control … but whoops! I can’t believe that silly George Clooney rumor is still going around … altho, mebbe he is the reason that Paris and Benji Madden broke up? Mebbe he couldn’t stand her wandering eye … but in her defense, I don’t think she has total control over it at all times. Ah well.

Jennifer Aniston jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with her BFF Courteney Cox-Arquette and her family to ring in the New Year and, wouldn’tcha know it, decided to bring along her love interest as of late John Mayer. Jen was happy to show off the ridic bod that she showed off on the cover of last month’s issue of GQ magazine but this time opted to cover up a bit more with a bikini and towel. Jennifer Aniston showed off her bikini bod during her New Year’s getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with beau John Mayer. The actress, who has since returned home, was spotted strutting around a villa in a skimpy swimsuit with a shirtless Mayer over the weekend. Despite turning 40 next month, Aniston told January’s GQ that she had no problem showing some skin. “I feel more comfortable today than I ever did in my twenties or early thirties,” she said. “I am more at peace in my mind and with my body.” Meanwhile, Aniston’s doggy dramedy Marley & Me just topped the box office for a second weekend in a row, earning $24 million. Her ex Brad Pitt’s drama, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, landed in third place with $18.4 million.

Well, you just *knew* that John Mayer was gonna tag along to Cabo if Jen would allow it. She looks amazing. This has to be the highest point in Jen’s life for quite some time now … she’s happily attached, she looks amazing and she is enjoying lots of career success … methinks that 2009 is gonna be a good one for her. She’s already off to a great start!

Yesterday was my last full day in NYC … for a while. After I fly back to LA later on this afternoon, I prolly won’t be back in NY for a few months … if not longer. The long story short is that David is moving … but I don’t want to get into specifics just yet as so many things are happening at once right now. I will say that this is very good news for both of us :)

So … because David will no longer be living in the West Village, we decided to spend some time walking the neighborhood for a while before meeting up with David’s sister Lara and her friend Patrick for brunch at Café Condesa:

The place is minuscule but the food was amazing … we enjoyed a great meal together. Afterward, we walked around some more and then hung out at Jack’s Coffee to read for a bit before meeting up with David’s sister Eden and aunts Judy and Susan for wine and cheese. It was a really nice day together.

But alas, it will be my last in the Big Apple for some time. While I am looking forward to returning to the relative warmth of SoCal, I’m gonna miss NY. I’ll be back, for sure, but just not as often as I’ve been used to for the past 2 1/2 years. Big changes ahead in 2009 … more to come! For now, I’ll be jetting back home in a few hours. From tomorrow on, I’ll be comin’ atcha from the West Coast for the foreseeable future. Woot!
