Here are a few supercute pics of lovebirds Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia spending a little vacation time together on the romantic isle getaway of Bora Bora in French Polynesia this week:

Good looking, toned and talented – Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia looked every inch the superhero couple as they walked hand in hand along the beach. The pair, who both star in the science fiction drama Heroes, are enjoying a romantic break on the French Polynesian island of Bora Bora. Despite dating for more than a year, it is rare for the couple to be spotted together in public. It emerged the pair, who have a 12-year age gap between them, were dating in January last year. Rumours first circulated when they were seen smooching at an Emmys party in September 2007 and by the end of the year they were regularly seen out together at showbiz events. Milo, 31, had previously denied rumours when asked about reports of a possible romance with the 18-year-old actress. He said: “She and I are close friends. It’s only natural that people are going to couple us together.” The couple met on the set of superhero drama Heroes and they enjoy a close relationship on as well as off screen.

Nice to see that the couple are still happily attached. Because we don’t see them out and about very often it’s hard to tell how things are going (we last saw the pair in public together back before Halloween). I’d say these new pics of the couple on holiday together is a very good sign that things are coming along swimmingly with the couple. I like them together … they make a nice match. Here’s hoping that 2009 will be a very good one for HaLo … as it stands, it looks like they’ve got the New Year off to a great start!

Yesterday started out promising in that David and I talked briefly about “going out” and “doing something” but in the end … that’s not at all what happened. David’s sister Lara came by the apartment to hang out with us and also seemed interested in going out … for dinner at least. We decided to order food to be delivered and that was the end of that. We watched a bunch of Friends episodes until Lara got tuckered and went back to their sister Eden’s apartment for the rest of the night. David and I, again, talked about going out but … ended up watching the entire 4th season of the original Aussie version of Kath & Kim:

Now we are both fully caught up with the original series and have no need to watch the US version anymore. Again, the US version is a’ight, I guess but it cannot hold a candle to the original OZ version. Now all we have to do is wait for the next season of new eps ;) As much as I kinda wanted to go out last night … it just wasn’t meant to be.

But tonight, we are deffo braving the cold and venturing out … we have tickets to see Billy Elliot the Musical on Broadway. We wanted to see Billy Elliot when we were in London, England over the Summer but it didn’t work out … and since this will be my last trip to NYC for a long time, well, I wanted to squeeze in a Broadway show while I had the time. It should be fun … I’ve heard great things.

Amid reports that the couple are headed for Splitsville, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony jetted off to their home territory of Puerto Rico ahead of the New Year in order to celebrate their happy love together … or whatevs. The couple made a very public showing at the inauguration of the new Governor of Puerto Rico Luis Fortuno yesterday, making sure to show the world that they are still very much together … or whatevs:

As you can see in these photos, the couple were both wearing their wedding rings (which are so full of bling that they can be seen with the naked eye from space) and were careful to show them off as much as possible (like in the solo photo of Jen where she appears to be going, Oh, my huge wedding ring that is a symbol of my love for my husband is so big that it always gets in the way when I’m trying to brush the hair from my face). The couple even shared a smooch during the inauguration ceremony … looks like true love to me! Honestly, I think all of this show would be much more believable if it weren’t so obviously shoved in our faces … the disingenuousness only makes it seem faker. I guess time will tell. A much healthier-looking Amy Winehouse was spotted frolicking on the beach in St. Lucia (where she has been on holiday for the past week or so) in the company of a cute male friend this week … apparently going head over heels with happiness with sober sanity … behold:

Cavorting on the beach, Amy Winehouse looks brimming with health and vitality. With her clear skin, glossy hair and obvious lust for life, the energetic 25-year-old is a different picture from her previously bedraggled figure suffering from the excesses of London life. As she joined in a game of football with her friends, practiced her handstands and frolicked in the sea, it was clear the Caribbean holiday was doing the singer the world of good. The playful star appeared to have taken on a new sporty persona and seemed to not to have a care in the world, as she enjoyed herself on the beach. Wearing a black bikini top and colourful bottoms, she showed off her new curvier figure, which looked healthier than it had done in years. The 25-year-old singer has been enjoying a holiday away from it all with her friends and family on the island of St. Lucia. She travelled first class to the exotic location with her 12-year-old god-daughter Dionne Bromfield, her mother and a group of other friends. It is obvious the break from her life in London is doing Amy the world of good, as she looked happier than she had for a long time. Along with her bad skin and emaciated figure, she has also ditched her trademark beehive for the vacation.

This has to be the healthiest and happiest I think I’ve ever seen the usually tragic trainwreck. The Caribbean appears to be just what the doctor ordered to help get the girl’s life back in order. I highly approve of this hunky new male friend of hers … he looks like he could be much better for her than her estranged hubby Blake Fielder-Civil. Amy appears to be flourishing far away from the temptations that were destroying her back home in London. I think it’d be totally ace if she just found herself a secluded island to live out her days so that she might live a long and healthy life rather than return to the mainland and succumb to the dangerous behavior that was killing her. This is an Amy Winehouse that I could get used to seeing … she looks so happy, carefree and coherent. It’s a nice look for her, wouldn’t you agree?

Jude Law, who has been on holiday with his ex-wife Sadie Frost and his three children Rafferty, Iris and Rudy for the past week or so, was snapped doing a bit of poolside reading at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this week lookin’ about as fine as one can look while reading a book sans shirt … check it out:

While I’m happy to see that the luscious Jude’stache is still in full effect, I’m afraid the rest of his facial scruff is taking away from the ‘stache itself. I mean, I realize that he is on holiday and all but … attention must be paid to the Jude’stache — it must be maintained. But I digress … I cannot figure out what book Jude is reading in these photos but, it must be said, he looks pretty sexy reading whatever it is that he’s reading. You gotta love a man that reads, no?

Britney Spears, who made her way to Kentwood, LA to spend New Year’s Eve with her family and attend her big brother Bryan Spears‘s “secret” wedding on NYE, was snapped out and about in McComb, MS with an alleged “mystery man” but who is actually the Director of Content for her official website. While it must be said that Britney and Andrew (that’s his name) make a very lovely looking couple, I think it’s safe to say that there is nothing romantic going on betwixt the two of them … or is there?

I must admit that I, too, got all excited when I first saw this photo of Britney and her handsome companion but, alas, there prolly ain’t no hanky panky going on here. BUT in other exciting news … it turns out that there are 2 more unreleased tracks that were recorded for the Circus album but didn’t make the cut that are rumored to be leaked to the Interweb very soon. The two songs, Abroad and Take the Bait, are said to have been produced by Danja (who produced Gimme More and Kill the Lights) and co-written by The Clutch (who wrote Womanizer) and should be making appearances soon. If these songs to make their way to us, we’ll have gotten 19 of the 30 songs that were reportedly recorded for the album. Love it!! Can you imagine if all 30 songs ended up leaking their way to us? Is it too much to hope for?

Yesterday I posted a newslink for the sad news that John Travolta and Kelly Preston‘s 16-year old son Jett suddenly died while the family was on holiday at their home in the Bahamas (the news was first reported by TMZ). At the time that I posted the newslink, there was no information as to the cause of the boy’s untimely death. It has since been reported by multiple news outlets that Jett suffered a seizure while in the bathtub and hit his head. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the local hospital:

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of actor John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, died Friday while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas. Jett had suffered a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, said Michael Ossi, a lawyer for the family, in a statement through Travolta’s rep. The teen hit his head in a bathtub Friday morning and was declared dead at Rand Memorial Hospital, police spokeswoman Loretta Mackey told the Associated Press. According to police, a caretaker had found Jett unconscious in the bathroom around 10 a.m. An autopsy is being pursued to determine the exact cause of death. Jett, who is the only son of Travolta, 54, and Preston, 46, had a history of seizures, according to Ossi. The couple also have a daughter, Ella Bleu, 8 … In 2003 Preston told Montel Williams that when Jett was 2 he became “very, very ill, but it seemed like flu symptoms” before being diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. The condition, which usually affects children from ages 2 to 5, can cause inflammation of the arteries. Usually treatable, it can lead to lasting heart damage in rare cases. Preston, who also said Jett suffered from asthma, blamed household cleaners, fertilizers and pesticides for sparking the condition and lobbied for more detailed labeling on chemical products. She credited a detoxification program based on the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard with helping to improve Jett’s health.

It was widely speculated that Jett Travolta was autistic, tho the family denied it. TMZ is reporting today that police have opened an investigation into the boy’s death but do not believe that any crimes were committed. If anything, the investigation hopes to clarify the events surrounding the boy’s death. He was last seen going to the bathroom on Jan. 1 but wasn’t seen again until 10AM the following morning. I cannot begin to imagine the level of grief the family must be facing at a time like this. The loss of a child must be the most devastating thing a family can endure. I can only hope the family will be able to find the strength and resolve to make it thru this horrible tragedy. I’m sure it is safe to say that all of our thoughts and prayers are with the Travolta family right now.
