Co-stars Gerard Butler and Jame Foxx were in attendance at the LA premiere of their new film Law Abiding Citizen at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA last night and were each lookin’ fly on the red carpet. Talking to Extra! TV before the premiere, Butler revealed that he shows a bit of nekkid flesh in this new thriller about a man who takes revenge on the murderer of his family. According to Butler, he will be showing off his bare ass … and he sees nothing wrong with doing so:

Gerard Butler tells “Extra” he didn’t mind completely stripping down in the new thriller “Law Abiding Citizen”! “It’s always nice to show a bit of butt,” the handsome actor joked with “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli at the Hollywood premiere of the film on Tuesday. When Butler’s character is arrested in the flick, he welcomes the cops… with no clothes on. He adds, “I don’t think it was gratuitous. I think there is a good reason for my nakedness in this movie.” If you have been missing Gerard’s abs from “300,” don’t worry. They also make an appearance in “Law Abiding Citizen.” Gerard’s co-star Jamie Foxx praises Butler’s “butt-scene,” saying, “He has to do his whole thing for the ladies, which is great. But that’s when we men go to the concession stand.”
Oh yeah … this is exactly the sort of info I needed to know. I saw the trailer for the film a few times and thought it looked kinda good … I’m not a big Jamie Foxx fan but I love Gerard Butler. Now that we know that he will be strippin’ down in this flick, I know that my interest level has just gone up. In all honesty, Butler is a great actor who can play funny (P.S. I Love You), serious (300) and sexy. It just sounds like this time around he’ll be playing the seriously sexy role … and I can’t wait to see his law abiding buns in action ;)

this movie looks intriguing to me, mainly because i’ve never seen gerard play a bad guy. and now that i know his bare booty is in the movie, ill definitely be seeing it :)
I know nothing about this movie but I’m already sick of it. My boss is OBSESSED with Gerard and she explains this movie plot over and over again and I can’t help but roll my eyes. I think Gerard is OK but he’s been in some pretty crappy movies lately… Jamie Foxx is talented but no thanks.

I think this is the movie they filmed in my city (Philly)…I sooo wanted my own up close in the flesh sighting of Gerard Butler, but uggh I never did see him. : ( I def will be seein this movie though, for the eye candy of Gerard. And yeah, Jamie Foxx is a tool, but not a 1/2 bad actor.

@robin – I guess I am trying to say is that some Men try to put on the extra manliness by saying silly things like “Thats When WE Men Go To The Concession Stand”. Its like he generalizing all men and to prove a point he is straight and this is what straight guys do..
He does this a lot.. So does Ryan Seacrest on American Idol.. I dunno its a thing they do that sorta irks me a little!

Gerard = yummy. I don’t really like violent movies, but I can’t wait to see this one. He seems to choose films that have a good story. Even “Gamer” (which wasn’t really my cup of tea) was a pretty cool concept for a story.
BTW Trent, if you like Gerard Butler you should check out his movie “Dear Frankie.” Great little movie filmed in Scotland – no Gerard nekkidness (bummer!) but he uses his real accent (hotness!) and the whole movie is so good it’s worth watching. Seriously, excellent story, excellent acting, excellent everything. Check it out if you have a chance.
YES! I am SO excited. I’ve been pretty much in love with Gerard since Phantom and will love soaking up this movie.
