This past February we learned that longtime paramours Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy got engaged to be wed … today we learn from Life & Style magazine that Clancy went and got married in a private (and apparently unannounced) ceremony earlier this month. I guess congratulations are in order … Claire and Hugh got hitched!
Claire Danes and British actor Hugh Dancy got married in a low-key wedding in France, Life & Style can report exclusively. The pair tied the knot earlier this month at a small ceremony attended by family and close friends, an insider tells Life & Style. Claire, 30, and Hugh, 34, met over two years ago on the set of Evening in Newport, R.I. The pair announced their engagement in February. “He’s such a cutie patootie,” Claire told BlackBook magazine for its September issue. “While relationships are work, this just didn’t feel like it. It’s the kind of work that feels energizing rather than enervating. I find it very freeing to know that, okay, it takes constant nurturing and attention, but I can also stop looking for the one.”
Yay!! We knew the couple were on the wedding track and considering how private they are in their everyday lives, news of this secret wedding in France comes as no surprise whatsoever. They make a very handsome couple and I wish them nothing but a long life of happiness and bliss. Congrats, Clancy!!

Wish them the best. Is it awful to say that I’m kind of glad she and BCrudup split? Taking up when his girlfriend was 7 months pregs…kind of a sad mess, with bad feelings. ANYWAY… These two seem like sweet match and off to a great start in life together!

i still cant forget claire calling philippines, my home country “gross” and “full of roaches and rats”.. it happened years ago but i still dont like her for it and have since changed the way i look at her. yes our country has problems but to publicly say that is stupid.
