Last week we got a sneak preview of the newest movie trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon which was dubbed in French but hit the Internets days before the English version was set to debut in theaters last Friday. That video, which has since been removed by Summit Entertainment, gave us our first look at the newest footage made available from the film … with a bunch of really fun subtitles. The English version of the trailer was shown in theaters this past weekend and has officially been released online for our viewing pleasure:
‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ star Taylor Lautner introduces us to his character Jacob Black. In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful TWILIGHT series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as BELLA SWAN (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before. Following Bella’s ill-fated 18th birthday party, EDWARD CULLEN (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. I’m pretty certain that A.) all of the rabid Twilighters watched this trailer multiple times when it was leaked to the Internets last week in French and B.) already prolly saw the trailer in theaters this weekend but, just in case, you can watch the trailer in full, in English right here after the jump …
You know, I love me some Jacob but I think I prefer this trailer in French. Even tho it’s not his voice, I think it sounds better en français. Dakota Fanning as Jane of the Volturi looks pretty good but we only get a quick peek at her. Rachelle Lefevre looks AMAZING as Victoria the villainous vampire … it’s gonna be a shame to not see her in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. I hightly suggest you watch this video in full screen HD so that you can see everything *cough* abs *cough* featured in the clip.

when Jacob transforms into his wolf form it still gives me shivers. Maybe its cause of her yell or the growling lol.
This movie looks way better then Twilight did. But we shall see when it actually comes out. A few actors in the movie have already said this movie is better then Twilight(script and otherwise)
Kristen(as Bella) looks a lot more ready or into the acting in this movie.
blah i want a version without taylor talking lol. but this actually looks like its going to be sooooo much better then twilight. i love how proud he is of his 30 pounds lol and rachelle looks beyond amazing, shes gunna be missed for sure. the geek in me cant wait for this

I was happy to see the HQ still frames that are all over the place [I have found MTV's to be the best so far]. Dakota looks amazing as Jane, but still not quiiiite how I pictured her while reading the book. I’m impressed with everything I’ve seen so far.
Very very excited about the movie. The coloring in this movie looks so for clearer and fresher than it did in Twilight. Im also excited to see what kind of changes they made with the characters like in make up and other things, cause for some reason Edward look alot more paler than in the first one.
@Misskarolyn – I’m with you on that one. I’m french canadian and man are translated movie PAINFUL. I could only bear 30 seconds of Twilight (or should I say: ‘Twilight: La Fascination’ teehee) in french before I gave up watching it with my non-bilingual friends and closed my brain.

I am counting down the days til New Moon!!! Not really, well kinda. Taylor looks AWESOME in this movie! I think it is funny that he is the youngest cast member and the most well spoken. He can actually put a sentence together. Kristin and Rob seem to struggle with that. haha
taylor brings a certain happiness to the film, unlike rob and kristen who seem to feel depressing is the way to go

Booo, this one is hard to get “butterfly in the stomach over.” Though he seems nice, Jacob reminds me of my gay friend who … refuses to come out of the closet~! Argg…. lol, they should just have castted someone who seems less gay for a smart female to fawn over

Team Jacob all the way man. New moon looks like it’s going to be better than twilight. From what I’ve seen of Kristen in the trailers, she looks like she’s much more prepared for the roll of Bella.
