90210 star Shenae Grimes was all smiles backstage on the SoCal set of her show yesterday afternoon throwing out waves and smiles to the assembled photogs who were in attendance. Clearly no one mentioned to Ms. Grimes that it is not necessary to use an entire bottle of fake suntan lotion just to color one’s face:
I shudder to think how many bottles of fake tanner she went thru just to get her exposed skin to this shade of orange. I don’t know if that yellow cardigan is doing her any favors but props to the 90210 lighting director who is able to turn this richly colored young starlet a semi-normal shade of human each week on the show. Shenae, doll … less is more.

If she was on set looking like that, my guess is it was for the show, cause I’m quite sure the makeup people would have spraypainted her a proper color rather than leave her looking like that if it’s not storyline related. LOL

Okay this is just so wrong….One might think that celebs would be able to get it right with the fake tan since they do it so often but time and time again we see harsh ORANGE….Find a happy medium or embrace your pale skin!

I am thinking it is for a plot on the show, remember when people saw pics of Anne Hathaway orange and then it turned out to be for Bride Wars
she is annoying on the show though, the only characters I like are Navid and Adrianna

@ Nicole– I know. She was orange on DeGrassi, too. I dislike all fake tan and have never done it. I just don’t see why she can’t just deal with her natural skin color.

I hated her on Degrassi, but did think it was pretty cool someone on that show wound up on an American show.

its so sad BC its been rainy, cloudy, and cold out here for about 2 weeks, so is makes this tan even more unbelievable. love her on 90210 but didnt like her on Degrassi. Actually she was prettier when she lived in Canada.
